Beachy Keen

"Beachy Keen" is a 3 bedroom home, light and airy with lots of windows and some ocean views. "Beachy Keen" is located close to Minnamurra River, offering swimming, fishing and boating. Minnamurra river and headland reserve has several picnic areas with electric BBQ's as well as walking tracks and tennis court. Kiama golf club is located only a minute walk from the house and has live music every weekend. Jones Beach is a patrolled beach only a short stroll away. A variety of local shops, cafes and day spa are within easy walking distance.

3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open living area and kitchen, polished floorboards, large entertaining deck, large fire pit, day bed, hydrotherapy spa and various seating areas.
If you would like to use the spa, there is a small service fee of $30/night.

Includes 52 inch plasma TV with Netflix, DVD player, microwave, washing machine, linen & towels. Free NBN WiFi available.

Sheets and towels are supplied for your stay. All beds have quilts with full quilt covers, we do not triple sheet but if you would like a top sheet, you will find this in the linen closet.





"Beachy Keen" is a wonderful place to spend your holiday with friends or family. The large entertaining deck is like a second living area where you can enjoy a spa, a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the daybed or have a nice night around the firepit with family or friends. The large deck has various seating areas with an outdoor setting for 6 people, bar stools, daybed and lots of seating all around the lower deck and fire pit and not to forget about seating for 6 in the beautiful warm hydrotherapy jacuzzi.


PS: The property has a studio apartment upstairs that may be used on occasion by myself during holidays and weekends.
Its very private from your rented area downstairs. If you have any concerns, please contact me for information.

Beachy Keen Review

The host was amazing and very helpful, cannot fault her in any way, as was the backyard (spa and firepit), however, the house is extremely small and is definitely no good for people with mobility issues or overweight. The furniture (bed and lounges) are in need of updating and all the chairs in the house were either low to the ground or high up. I would only recommend 4 adults maximum 2 kids

Very comfortable stay

Nina was very wonderful and helpful. We just stayed for a night but the place was wonderful. We enjoyed a lot. House was very clean and Nina made sure our stay was good. Also the beach view in the morning made my mind to come back again.

Fantastic!

Lovely clean accommodation with everything you need - hot tub and fire pit top the day off. Easy walk to Jones beach, golf club and local shops, only a few minutes drive to the heart of Kiama💛Would stay again👍🏻

Perfect peaceful and relaxing

What a wonderful home to just relax and enjoy the view. We were worried about the train line, but is wasn’t noisy at all. The kitchen is well equipped and the house was really neat and clean. Nina is a wonderful host and was extremely helpful.

Wonderfull spot. Stayed for two nights. We love the Jacuzzi and the firepit. We also enjoyed the surrounding. Closed to Bombo, Jones beach and Kiama. Overall a great stay. Thanks Nina !

Perfect property for a quiet get away

Catching-up with longtime friends.

If chilling with friends/rellos in a laidback environment is what you’re after, Beachy Keen has it in spades. It’s close to everything you need/want to experience and will appeal to young and old without the “bling” and “precociousness”. The Golf Club is not even a stone’s throw away and the meals were outstanding. In spite of the weather not being the best for our long-weekend, both parents and kids had lots to choose from (spa, fire-pit, BBQ, laze on the deck or daybed, stroll to & on the beach, swim - boys caught a few good waves at Jones Beach, watch a dvd etc). Nina is an excellent host and has done a wonderful job with making Beachy Keen a home-away-from-home. We had a great time and Kiama is beautiful part of the world. We’ll most certainly be back!!

Nina's property offers a lovely getaway close to the beach, river and cute cafes. The backyard is lovely complete with firepit and hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent.

Great stay at Beachy Keen

Beachy Keen in Kiama Downs is located in a convenient spot to stage any South Coast holiday. Quick drive to the beaches and amenities around Kiama, you can’t ask for a better location that is high value for money and offers the comforts you expect ina holiday house. The outdoor deck, firepit and spa at the back were very welcoming indeed. Nina is a super responsive and gracious host and the house is super clean and had all the necessary items and utensils needed to eat in. Highest recommendation!

The place was nice but I think the photos were taken a long time ago as it needs a but more love.

The spa and fire pit where great. Even though we think the spa is due for a good clean. I didnt realise the train line backed on to the property ( a little noisy). We found the plants and grass all over grown and the place was in need of some general maintenance. The kitchen was well equiped and soon worked out how to reset the dishwasher when is shorted out. Overall we had a good time but felt the place needs some work.
