"The first room that I was given, smelt terribly of cigarette smoke when I entered. I opened the balcony door to get some fresh air into the room. I very quickly closed the door again, as there was a pile of cigarettes butts in the middle of the balcony. I went down to the reception area to inform them of the situation. They very quickly & most apologetically gave me a much better room."

"I chose Aura after having stayed in many of the lower cost apartments in Melbourne. There are no surprises (like aircon not working) whenever I've stayed elsewhere there's always something not working, or broken in the room.
It's exactly as it appears in pics. Staff are professional, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are a great size and contain everything you need even for an extended stay.
Clean comfortable and with views to die for."

"It was hard to find in the beginning because the signage was not clearly visible. It was also weird that you need to go up to 2nd level for the reception. Staff were a bit disappointing because they are not as responsive but I guess, they are just doing their job.
The room was clean, equipped though a bit small.
The food could be better with more selections but for the price, it’s ok.
Will I recommend? Definitely. My friend recommended the place to me so I will. A plus, it was close to a...
