    A 820 square foot fully remodeled home with comfortable farmhouse decor in the woods offering serenity and privacy. A private bedroom with a queen size bed, comfortable living area, separate dining area, roomy kitchen with plenty of supplies for cooking and enjoying a meal on the outdoor patio, a bright and spacious bathroom, and a 55” Smart TV.

One private bedroom sleeps two with a queen size bed. For those who need a little more room, Sunset Rock, a stylish studio home adjacent to Sunset Hill, comfortably sleeps two additional guests.
    Free Wi-Fi is provided.
    A propane grill is provided with basic grilling tools and outdoor bistro table and umbrella.

    Enjoy the outdoors on the patio, a perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and amazing sunsets. Upon entering the newly remodeled home, guests are greeted with charming farmhouse decor and comfortable amenities. With open areas and a high ceiling, guests will feel as if they found their own private cocoon. Sleep soundly in a private bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and lovely linens. A quaint kitchen with farmhouse accents, vintage appliances, and appealing decor offers a fun place to prepare a meal. Then relax in the dining area, read a book or play your favorite games.

    Enjoy breathtaking sunsets and star gazing. Wimberley is one of only 3 certified dark sky cities in Texas. Be ready for wildlife sightings as you relax on the patio with a favorite beverage after exploring Wimberley.
    Special attention has been made by the owners to ensure that Sunset Hill is environmentally friendly. The home's water is supplied by great tasting purified rainwater.

    Looking for an outing, Sunset Hill is about 5 minutes from Wimberley’s Square, Blue Hole, Jacobs Well and Cypress Falls. The Square offers great little shops, chef styled cuisine and incredible swimming holes!

    Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon on the water. Check out the music calendar at Whitewater Amphitheater and rock out at a concert! Explore New Braunfels and Gruene and enjoy fabulous restaurants and live music. A day of tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the Guadalupe River is always fun. Families and children will especially love Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park. Visit the over 240 shops at the San Marcos Outlet for an endless day of shopping.

    Blanco has several popular attractions for outdoorsmen, historians, and foodies. Blanco State Park offers fishing, swimming, and hiking. For those interested in the historical Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale Brewing Company offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience.

    Further down the road, spend the day exploring Fredericksburg. Travel to Wine Road 290 which offers 19 wineries, all within a few miles of each other. Visit one of Fredericksburg’s two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. During the summer, make sure to stop by a fruit stand and grab some famous Fredericksburg peaches.

Short get away

Very clean & efficient cabin with lots of charm. Quite a bit of hwy noise but quiet inside. We came for a short get away and the house is very close to Wimberley so plenty to see & do.

romantic getaway

Fun, convenient and peaceful. this property is in a beautiful area close to the conience of Wimberley. My wife and I stayed for a few days after a conference in San Antonio. it was perfect for a couple of nights.

Great Get Away Location

My partner and I had an amazing stay at this wonderful home in the hills. I only wish we would've arrived earlier so we could've enjoyed more time there! The house, hot tub, and outdoor area were all top notch in cleanliness, delivery as pictured, and overall experience. I will DEFINITELY be staying with this host, at or near the house I stayed in, again in the near future. Happy travels!

Perfect Getaway

Sunset Hill was the absolute perfect getaway. The beds were comfortable, the decor was cozy and relaxing, and the outdoor space was just right. The house is only a few minutes from Wimberley square. The coffee pot uses only k-cups, so plan accordingly. We will definitely be back.

Little creepy roaches were under our clothes on the floor in the bathroom.. we had put our dirty clothes in the bathroom and when we went to pick them up, there were roaches under them.

Our stay was excellent!

Everything about our stay was great! We had such an amazing time with the family! The only bad experience we had was when we arrived and couldn’t get into the property until staff came and opened the door for us. He stated something was off with the lock. Other than that, we enjoyed it and will come back again!

Amazing stay. Almost 5 stars!! Would book again!

We absolutely loved our stay here for a couples weekend together. It was just the two of us but this could easily work for a small family as well. We would book here again in a heartbeat!! Our stay was almost perfect! Couple of small issues we had were ants in the kitchen and then a poorly draining shower that caused the shower to fill up very quickly. Other than that perfect! Even with those small issues we absolutely loved our stay.

Nice location.

Very nice location outside of wimberly. Only downfall was ice machine didn’t work and was frozen. Also the entrance to the property was rough. The concrete had been broken and I basically had to get a running start with my truck to make it on the property to stop from spinning out on the gravel. But overall was very nice place to stay and we definitely want to come back.

Sunset Hill

Beautiful property! The house is charming and conveniently located to Wimberly, local attractions, and wineries. It is right off a busy road, but if you’re inside you don’t here the noise from the road. Shower was slow to drain, and the hot tub might have needed more chemicals. I also could not locate any outdoor trash bins, so I had to bring my trash home. Overall though it was great. I would stay again!

Fantastic Home

The owner of the property had renovated it prior to our arrival. Instead of walking into an advertised pink home, it was modernized to a white and black one. The interior was fantastic with a farmhouse feel. It had everything we needed plus some. It was very comfortable relaxing and peaceful. The deck was awesome with a grill and outdoor chairs. There was also deer on the property. The location was about 5 minutes from downtown Wimberley. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable. Look forward to returning.

Cozy place for a great weekend getaway. A very short drive to Wimberley but away enough that it was peaceful. The hot tub was a great addition, loved watching the stars at night while sitting in it.The views of the sunset while eating on the porch were also a plus.Updated decor and very clean.We didn’t use anything in the loft but the bed in the main bedroom was incredibly comfortable. The couch was really the only uncomfortable thing in the rental but it wasn’t a deal breaker, we’d be back again.Only hiccup we really ran into had nothing to do with the unit. We were there for my boyfriends birthday and I was hoping to have a surprise cake there when we arrived. Coordinating with the property manager was not the easiest and the vendor was almost unable to set up because they were told to wait for the cleaners to arrive. Cleaner didn’t come until after 2 pm with a 4 pm arrival. It all worked out in the end. Again, wouldn’t keep me from renting this place or from the property manager, it just wasn’t the easiest thing to coordinate.

Very nice place

The place is absolutely gorgeous and looks just like the photos. They need to replace skillets and pots/pans. They are no longer non stick and so small. I had to go and buy a skillet in order to be able to cook. The gas stove looks pretty but lacks power. Even if you turn the temperature up or down, there is very little change in the flame. Cooking was not easily done on this stove and I am used to cooking with gas. Being 10 mins from town, being able to cook meals was important. Other than that, loved place and would definitely go back.

Cute & Cozy Country Cottage

We loved our stay at this property! It is very cute and cozy and had all the essentials. The scenery was gorgeous and we even were able to go for a short hike down the road which the kids really enjoyed. It was a very short drive to Wimberly and the grocery, about 5 min, which was also nice. We also enjoyed utilizing the fire pit. The first day we were there we saw over 10 deer! It was absolutely beautiful 🤩 Only small downfall was, as mentioned in a precious message, you do hear traffic throughout the day as the highway is very close. This tapers down in the early evening. Also, the second day we were there a trailer parked down under the property right below so there was no privacy as we thought there would be. Additionally, their sister house is also much closer than it appears in the photos. Overall, this little house works perfect for a couple or a small family (we brought our 2 young girls)!

VRBO really cute, newer, great bed linens. AC/fans great on 104 degree days Great Grill and hot tub. 1) Hated the ant infestation at the sink - continuously fought for 3 nights, 2) inconsistent water pressure. Would be good for approx 20-25 minutes then none for about 45 min. 3) Must plug and unplug hot tub from wall receptacle outside which is dangerous especially when wet. 4) oven did not work - stove did however. 5) trash receptacle was not at our unit. Was at the smaller unit and always full . I wish I could give 4-5 stars but it is just the number of little things that made our 3 night - 4 day stay a little difficult/unpleasant .
