    Beautiful home, nice and cozy. Very comfortable with great views, quiet and peaceful. Loved seeing wildlife and cows on the property. No hot tub as stated in the listing but not a big deal, just would have been a nice bonus.

    Brought my wife here for a Valentines weekend, it was perfect. Very secluded and private, just what I was looking for.

    Amazing place to stay!

    My husband and I loved this place and will definitely be back. It was remote and peaceful, but not too far from town. We enjoyed everything about it.

    Magical weekend

    We had the most perfect weekend here. It was exactly what we needed-very secluded and quiet and everything was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing some time away from regular life:) I can’t say enough good things!

    Rustic chic in the middle of 600 acres of a ranch in the hill country of Texas. Beautiful and peaceful setting to unplug and relax!

    Was traveling through the area and chose this property due to its history and surroundings. It did not disappoint. The wildlife, the trails, the house, the history all made for a great stay.

    Family Getaway

    We stayed here with our family of 4 to kick off our summer. We love the Hill Country and enjoy staying in rural properties. This is a fantastic location and lovely property. Look forward to returning.

    Beautiful surroundings in a tranquil setting

    My wife and I loved our stay at this ranchland getaway in the Texas hill country. It is a beautiful setting away from traffic and city lights. We have already schedule a trip back!

    Fabulous property, amazing views

    We stayed during spring break with our two boys. We really enjoyed the views at the property, watching wildlife and the peacefulness. The house had everything we needed. Ashley was easy to reach with any questions.

    We thoroughly enjoyed staying here, it was just the escape we needed. The house was amazing and we really loved everything about it, especially remoteness. Ashley was an amazing host and we hope to be back soon!! Gig Em!!

    Perfect Escape

    The pictures on the listing do not come close to capturing this beautiful home and surrounding property. Absolutely gorgeous, peaceful and exactly what my husband and I needed to relax, unwind, and reconnect. Simple, yet beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. Definitely will stay here again.     Birthday Trip

    We had a great time! This is truly in the middle of nowhere, which was just what we were looking for! The stars at night are amazing. Great hot tub. Very clean. Had all of the essentials needed. Will definitely be back and plan to just stay at the house and enjoy nature. Highly recommend.

    Best weekend EVER

    My husband reserved this property for my 40th bday. It was exceptional in every aspect! The property was beautiful and SUPER secluded which we love. There was abundant wildlife everywhere. Would 10/10 recommend it to anyone who loves seclusion but also likes having all the amenities. Also the hot tub was perfect!

    Girls weekend

    We loved spending our girls weekend at Martin Fort! It was still close enough to enjoy Fredericksburg and still get the rest & relaxation we wanted. We know water pressure can be a challenge in the country, especially in upstairs showers, so we would recommend women with longer hair pack their dry shampoo. Hope to visit again in the future!
