Spectacular Views Over Mercury Bay

Seascape is perfectly positioned to capture panoramic views over Mercury Bay and Whitianga and is nestled into a beautiful bush backdrop surrounded by striking Nikau palms and native trees, with relaxing birdsong.

Perfect for an escape all year round, snuggle up by the log fire in winter or lounge on the sunny deck in summer. Close by is the world class Lost Springs - New Zealand’s premier Geo-Thermal pools, spa and restaurant built on a magical oasis of 16,000 year old pure mineral spring water. The perfect sanctuary if you’re looking for a local escape with a touch of indulgence.

Ideal for up to 2 families and a location that is hard to beat - summer or winter fun can be yours with beaches, boating, fishing and swimming mere moments away.

Set on two levels, upstairs offers generous family living in a spacious Lockwood design. An open plan kitchen, lounge and dining all flowing out to the expansive sunny wrap-around deck. You have the choice of in-door dining at the large 8 seat dining table or out on the deck overlooking the bay.

The large master bedroom offers a King bed and 2 walk in wardrobes and seaviews. Enjoy breakfast in bed and look out over the bay! There is a second bedroom upstairs with 2 King Single beds and a large wardrobe, with views over the natural bush surrounds. Upstairs is a large bathroom, toilet and laundry with washing machine, tub and dryer.

Downstairs flat provides a separate living/entertaining area, two double bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom features a Queen and Single bed and the other bedroom has a set of Single Bunk beds and a Double/Single Bunk. Note access to the downstairs area is via external stairs at front or rear of house.

Note: Linen for beds and Towels is not included. You can bring your own sheets, pillowcases and towels or these can be easily provided for you on request for an additional hire charge.

A flat area at the top of the drive provides plenty of off street parking and a nice play area for kids.

A short 300m stroll from the house is Brophy's Beach which offers safe swimming and a boat ramp. A 5 minute drive into central Whitianga and you can enjoy some shopping or a meal out at one of the many cafes, bars and restaurants. There are also 2 supermarkets and a Four Square in Whitianga for all your grocery needs.

If you are looking for a peaceful holiday retreat, come and relax at Seascape Villa and enjoy all the beautiful Coromandel area has to offer.

gorgeous view from the top deck

We had two work crews staying in the house, there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, with a mixed crew, having separate bathrooms & bedrooms for privacy

Was very pleased with premises. Only fault we saw was 1 of the power points in the kitchen needed repairing. Otherwise everything was great , view was awesome andvthe downstairs wifi kept dropping out.

Great House In A Great Town

We loved both the house and Whitianga. The view is great from this quiet home on a dead end street. House is well stocked, spacious, and clean. The host was most helpful and we left already wanting to return.

Beautiful views

Beautiful views of either the coast or the bush from upstairs. Bach is clean and has everything we needed. Warren was very understanding and helpful when we locked ourselves out. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Getaway

Two families with young children, setup is perfect for two families to still have their own space, however need to be vigilant with the stairs at the front which don’t have sides. Bottom living area hob was not functioning so might need looking at. Not the best driveway if looking to bring a boat/trailer as it is too steep. View is amazing & local native birds including wood pigeons in the trees are a treat.

Incredible!

The photos don't do the place justice! We had a group of 10 ages ranging from 6-50. The views are incredible, the rooms are spacious and all the facilities work well! Warren communicates very simply which I love, just in and out no surprises or interruptions. One thing I’m wary about are the quality of furniture/ Utilities but their bunk beds, chairs, kitchen equipment were all of good quality. Nothing fragile that may come up later. The house is very spacious and you get a lot of privacy from neighbours etc! Feels like your very own cabin. However, the only caution is that the drive way is very steep and not very suitable for long vans as they may scrape the concrete. Definitely would recommend :-)

Great place for a few couples

Lovely house and extremely well equiped. We loved the coffee machine. Driveway was very step and as house was tucked into the hillside was not as sunny as I had thought. Well located and views to die for. Would recommend.

Lovely Stay

We stayed for 5 nights at the first part of our 2nd New Zealand trip. It is a very comfortable house, well equipped, with lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful view. Whitianga is a charming town with excellent restaurants and the Coromandel Peninsula has stunning scenery. Warren was 5 star with communication, thank you Warren!

We had a wonderful time, stunning views, easy and close walk to the beach and short drive to town centre. The only problem was that the gas stove downstairs didn't work.

Wicked Weekend in one of best places ive stayed!

Upon arrival we knew we were in for a treat, unreal views in an unreal location, House was immaculate and perfect for our group of 12 Adults About a 5min drive to whitianga and a 5min walk to the beach so perfect location! Will recommend this place to anyone that will listen!

Girly's Weekend.

Nine Wāhine flew up from the South-Island for a Girlies Weekend; The House was terrific to say the least it has a good wairua with a comfortable warm mood. We found it clean, spacious, the equipment was generous from the washer / dryer, in & outdoor furnishings, games to kitchen utensils. The view from the wrap-around deck and bay windows were off the hook looking over Whitianga Beach on those chill afternoons or early morning breakfasts. Downstairs was inviting & cosy for those rest moments or quiet coffee gossips. We loved it and would definitely book again. The price including fees etc really worked for US. Mauri Ora Warren!
