"Absolutely loved this location. I have never stayed here before and took a chance and it was so nice. Beautiful grounds and nice quiet atmosphere. The breakfast pass at the Dunes was amazing. The only downfall is there are no elevators so if you are on the 3rd floor (like we were) you have to climb the stairs, which wasn't a problem for us but may be for some people. Definitely would stay there again."

I mentioned this to Elizabeth at the front desk (who was extremely helpful) and she stated that when they do a lot of laundry the septic smell is more pronounced. This should have been my sign. "It was such a pleasure meeting Bill and Veda during our stay! They were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us a delicious breakfast each morning and even packing up extra fruit for us to take to the beach, which was such a thoughtful touch. "My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay here! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained from the moment we arrived. The grounds were beautiful, clean, and had so much outdoor space to enjoy. We loved being able to walk around, take in the scenery, and use the bikes available to ride around Manteo! "Great location. They ran out of towels for two days and they only gave us 3 towels for a family of 4. That should never happen at a Holliday inn. People need clean towels no exceptions on that. Breakfast was ok. Rooms were clean. Great location."

There was a parking issue when we arrived cause others parked incorrectly and they were quick to get things fixed and had everything all set up for snacks and drinks. We stayed in Suite 4 and had perfect view of the beach and could be on the sand within minutes.
