Booked last minute for a one night stay in a room with a king size bed. Room was great value, spacious, spotless and quiet. Shower and toiletries were excellent. View was nice. The staff were mostly really professional and friendly. However some of the team in the dining room seemed not to fully understand what foods contained gluten. Breakfast buffet was great for me but not as good for my wife, who is coeliac. While they made a good attempt to identify foods with gluten in, the layout meant the risk of cross-contamination was high. Reported directly to Riu, but no response or interest shown so far.
