House
A beautifully renovated traditional property located in the popular North Norfolk town of Wells-next-the-Sea. Tusker House offers 4 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs has a newly fitted kitchen, dining room and living room with french doors into an enclosed walled garden, a snug room with TV and a large family shower room. The house sleeps 7 and is situated within a few minutes walk from Wells quay, the main shopping street and the ever popular Georgian Buttlands very close to all the amenities. The property also boasts one off street private parking space for a small to medium sized vehicle.

Home away from home

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in wells. It's located conveniently and is an easy walk to the town. The house was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. We had been left a welcome package in the kitchen which was a nice touch. The four rooms were well sized and bed comfortable, and the bathroom upstairs and downstairs were clean. This layout is quite quirky with many different levels. The driveway parking provided was quite tight so we parked on the road outside instead. Would definitely stay again :)

Quiet and just what the doctor ordered

We had a lovely week here, the location was perfect, it was very comfortable & quiet and yet a short walk to the Quay and shops, we loved the house and garden and love North Norfolk.

Lovely weekend break

Lovely, comfortable and cosy house in superb location. We were a groups of 4 friends getting away from the kids for a weekend and we couldn’t have asked for anywhere better. The house was perfect, very comfortable and homely and had everything we needed. Being only a couple of minutes from the beach and the pubs was very handy, to blow away the cobwebs and then relax with some great food and drink at the Globe Inn. A very relaxing weekend. We shall definitely be back.

Cosy and comfortable

Tusker House is in a perfect position and is easy to walk into town. It was clean, warm, tidy and had everything needed to make the stay thoroughly enjoyable. We stayed in late November and were going to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular which is a short 20 min drive away. We were delighted that the owners had decorated the house for Christmas with a beautiful tree which set the scene perfectly. I always have one very small gripe with any holiday let and that’s the single duvet on a single bed which is really not ideal for an adult! That being said it didn’t take away from our stay and we would definitely return

Lovely homely property with a beautiful garden.

The booking process was easy and the communication with the owner was excellent. Queries regarding the property were answered quickly. Property was warm clean and well equipped. It was a bonus to have Sky and Netflix. The established garden is beautiful and would be a great place to relax in warmer weather. It is ideally situated in the village with excellent amenities in walking distance. The carpark space is a bonus, although, due to the narrowl road it can be a test of driving skills to get in and out of it!

A little bit of paradise in Norfolk

Tusker Cottage is a delightful period house in the lovely village of Wells-next-the-sea. The house feels just like home, and the garden is a magical space full of bees, wood pigeons and blackbirds to entertain. It's just a few minutes walk from some great pubs and the sea, and there is incredible birdwatching all along the coast. Sophie is a fabulous host who made us feel completely welcome. We'll be back!
