This hideaway is just where you want to be on your next Appalachian adventure. The views are incredible, the host is responsive, and the cabin is adorable The views are so gorgeous, I decided to get married looking over the mountains!!

This space is a special place, my wife and I had a blast here. The rooms are very clean and the service is top notch. If you are looking for a quiet get away near the lake , look no further. I’d feel good bringing family, friends, or just me and the wife. It can accommodate several people and is a wonderful spot.

Stay was awesome and Debbie was a great host. Beautiful but simple place allows for a stress free stay. We will be back in the future I’m sure.

Husband and I really enjoyed our stay. There. Place was perfect for our needs- kitchen was stocked and the Wi-Fi was amazing since we work remotely. Nice little day trips and then to come home to a beautiful view with a fire was a plus. Would definitely come back as the place had everything and we were very comfortable during our stay!

We had the best time, the home was perfect and had something to do for everyone. We are busy vacationers up early and out the door to site see and find adventures and this place was perfectly located. If you are someone who likes to sit and relax this is great for that as well. The garage has a pool table, fuse ball, giant checkers, ladder ball, a fridge and Bluetooth speaker. We are hoping to go back and continue our adventures.

Great getaway

We had a great long weekend. Everything was clean and the personal touches made us feel very welcome. I would like to come back and stay again. We took a couple of hikes while in the area and the cabin was a great place to come back to and relax.

Perfect spot for many reasons!

This house is the perfect spot for anyone looking to spend days on Cave Run Lake and evenings relaxing and recharging! Five minutes from Long Bow Marina, and the driveway is manageable to navigate a truck and trailer for parking. The house is well-priced for the quality, and everything we needed was there. The host was quick to respond and helpful in every way we needed.

Peaceful living

2nd time staying here. Love this cabin. Owner goes way above to make it feel homey. Basket of goodies were greatly appreciated. Enjoyed the beautiful views during day and campfire at night. Very clean and well stocked with anything you need!! Already talking about coming back for visit 3!!!

Gramp Camp 2025

This is our 2nd stay at Clifftop Cottage for our annual "Gramp Camp" trip." The grandkids love this place! Beautiful veiw from firepit/picnic area, gameroom,with pool table, table and chairs great for our crafting, has indoor/outdoor games. Great for adults or kids. Kayak rentals, fish cleaning station. Very clean! Very cozy! Highly recommend! Thanks again Debbie, for everything!

Everything we had hoped for and more!

I stayed in Oct 2022 with my father. The pictures online looked so wonderful and we were not let down! We felt very at home with all the extra touches. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed the fire pit every night. Dad grew up not too far from there and we enjoyed reminiscing and seeing the area he grew up in. We are already talking about renting this lovely spot again next year!

Birthday hiking trip

We have stayed in lots of cabins , some a lot fancier than this, but this was the best stocked kitchen we have ever had in our travels. The host was super helpful and replied quickly. Left us a basket full of goodies and even had a Birthday card for me. Everything was clean, and well maintained. If I was pressed to say I didn’t like something about the cabin, the only negative I could say would be that I wasn’t thrilled about having to go outside to get to the basement. But I knew about that before booking and booked anyway and would book again! Highly recommend this place . Hoping to stay at her other property next year!
