Relax, Hike, fish, canoe and more. New Mobile Home sitting on 69 acres in the woods overlooking a 30 acre lake. Roods Ranch will be your Weekend Escape for Relaxation and Peace. Large screen porch for family hang outs or firepit fun with the kids. Only 25 minutes to Alexandria for shopping,dining, The local zoo, movies and more. Fishing is approved but please NO hunting allowed.

Weekend visiting Family

The property was very clean. The grounds are a beautiful lake setting in the woods. We really enjoyed our stay very much. Check out the pecan orchards down Hwy 1 if you get the chance.

Amazing stay!!

Great place to unwind!! Quiet and secluded and only like 20 minutes to Alexandria for whatever you need. Everything was great, definitely plan to come again next time I’m in town.

Grandkids spring break

Great location, good for hiking and fishing. Drive to Kisatchie National Forest for some hiking Loved the property and it’s fire pit. Our young grandkids loved it and loved exploring the property.

Our vacay.

When we first arrived, refrigerater was out, owner said the breaker must have tripped. Had to buy around 10 bags of ice to keep our groceries cold until the refrigerator got cool. 78 degrees inside when we arrived. Did not get under 74 degrees inside even with it set to 68 on thermostat. Bags of trash were left on the front porch from prior. Description should say to recommend four wheelers due to having a lot of property to ride on.

Couldn’t ask for more privacy place was beautiful just swinging on the screen in porch listening to the frogs sing.
