There were many positives about this property and I wish we could rate it higher.First, the positives. It's a small, but very nice space in a lovely, convenient upscale neighborhood. The space is as advertised, well equipped and relatively clean (though the toilet was not completely clean at check-in). We had three main issues, however. Most importantly, you should be aware that the parking spot, while nice to have, is extremely difficult to navigate. It is a tight lot and there is telephone pole in the way. Anyone on the passenger side has to exit the car in order to park and the car needs to be right up against a wall. Takes some patience and skill. Be aware. At check-in, we found that the battery in the smoke detector had died and it was beeping regularly. Although we immediately informed the owner, the issue was not resolved until several days later, despite indications that it would be done earlier. This may seem like a small matter, but removing the battery seemed inappropriate and the noise was galling. Finally, the process after reserving on VRBO was frustrating. There was some mix-up with the credit card expiration date between the management company and VRBO (the card worked fine for the VRBO portion). The management company then had several different e-documents that needed to be filled out, as well as requiring a copy of my driver's license. I had dealt with this on international travel, but it seemed unduly arduous for a simple domestic booking.
