It was in this house that he died on April 12, 1945, shortly after having been elected President of the United States for his fourth term.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt visited Warm Springs, Georgia in 1924 to seek relief from the polio that had stricken him three years earlier. He enjoyed his time at the springs pool so much that he bought the complex in 1926 and turned it into a therapeutic center for the treatment of polio. The pool is empty most of the time, but you can still visit it and see some of the original equipment used in the treatment of patients.
FDR had this modest cottage built in 1932 while he was Governor of New York. He would continue to visit here during his Presidency taking advantage of the naturally warm spring waters that are close by. He would suffer a massive stroke and die here on April 12, 1945.

Me gusto que esta en medio del bosque y muy tranquilo. limpio No me gustó es que no hay internet (supuestamente si habría) no hay cobertura celular. Pésima actitud del personal en general

Nos hospedamos con nuestra mascota, (golden retriever), fue un viaje de familia para hacer caminata en pine mountain. Tiene buen diseño, servicio y ambientación. Es sencillo, con estacionamiento gratis y cómodo para experiencia de un día.

Great location, cabin had everything except lighter for grill. Very spacious 3 beds & let out sofa. We will stay here again! Very clean! We enjoyed our stay! Kids loved hot tub & pet Friendly!
