We had a wonderful experience at La Maison Rose, from the minute we walked in we felt at home. The rooms were clean and the bed super comfortable. We enjoyed an oudoor bbq in the garden and the complimentary bubbles and biscuits was incredibly generous. The communication from Julie was straighforward and easy to follow. Totally enjoyed our time here.

Character filled premises with facilities in excellent order. Outdoor seating area and garden was an absolute highlight. Everything provided was thoughtful and attractively presented. Beds comfortable! Perfect accommodation for my daughter and myself, central to walking trails. Peter and Julie were very friendly hosts.

A lovely little property

A sweet little property that had everything we needed for our 1 night stay in Wangaratta. Julie's communication was excellent and very helpful. Great location, just a short walk from the town centre, as well as the Ovens river walking path. Highly recommend

Perfect for relaxation

We loved this property, it was quaint, pretty and a fantastic location near the river. The garden was so lovely and relaxing with and abundance of birds to watch. A good base for visiting the surrounding countryside and towns. Julie and her husband were so kind providing us with produce from the garden . They were very welcoming and all the basics were provided so no need to rush to the shops , a welcoming bottle of chilled wine was waiting for us. It was the perfect antidote to jet lag. Thank you Julie and husband for making us so welcome and suggesting places to see and eat out at . We would definitely stay again .

Delightfully quirky luxury B&B in The Wang

Beautifully decorated by hosts. Very comfortable. Thoughtful inclusions for those moments when you think "Oh no, I've forgotten.....", e.g. fly spray, first aid kit. Peaceful seclusion right in the middle of Wangaratta. Lovely breakfast foods provided, plus a complimentary gift of Prosecco, cheeses & biccies. Hosts gave plenty of privacy, but were on hand to help whenever contacted. After touring all around the area it was heaven to return to this little piece of paradise to sit in the back garden and watch the myriad small sparrows & other local birds play in the greenery, whilst sipping on a local wine. Can't recommend this B&B enough! Kind of unit I would love to live in if I was on my own.

Perfectly peaceful

We loved every part of this stay. Julie was the most thoughtful guest and went out of her way to accommodate an early check in request, provided ideas for the kids and I for things to do and left treats for each of us in the room. It was so welcoming and charming and relaxing we actually ended up staying in to recoup in the afternoon - playing games, reading, smelling the divine roses and enjoying the tranquil garden

lovely bnb to put your feet up and feel cared for. The place was small but cosy enhanced by the additional bottles of prosecco and cheese and strawberries. This property was the perfect getaway. The host, Julie, had thought of everything possible to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. A large outdoor space would be perfect for warmer weather. I highly recommend this property for a weekend away in Wangaratta.
