  • Alsea Shores is the perfect getaway...whether you're looking to hook a fish, dig for clams, fill your crab pot full of yummy crab or just hang out. This fun and inspirational 2 bedroom, 4 bath home that sleeps up to 8 will have you in the mood to take on the outdoors and catch your next meal. There are wonderful views of the Alsea Bay Bridge from multiple rooms in the house. Located in the heart of Waldport, Alsea Shores has a huge fully fenced front yard and is perfect for kids and dogs to romp and play in.

    The large open concept first floor is sunny and bright with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their time together. The large dining room table is a perfect place to gather and feast on your favorite meal - even the catch of the day! On those nights where a storm rolls in, the living room is equipped with a wood stove to keep you warm and toasty. Two spacious bedrooms are upstairs with a bath located between the two. Both have king beds that can be split into two twins, and both have a built-in twin bed. The primary bedroom has a balcony to step out on and appreciate the Alsea Bay Bridge view. It also has some added privacy with its own half bath. Enjoy more views of the bridge from the other bedroom as well.

    The hang out destination will be your very own gameroom where you can play cards, edge up to the refreshing home bar where you can stock the kitchenette with your favorite beverages, play in some foosball competitions, or catch a favorite sporting event and watch some favorite movies. This is the perfect hang out for the gang! Ready to enjoy some beach time? Just follow the short path from the front yard to the beach on the Alsea Bay. Ready to relax? Sink into the wonderful hot tub and enjoy the night stars!

    Perfectly located near the Port of Alsea, with room for you to bring your boat, you will be able to fish for Steelhead, cutthroat trout, Chinook Salmon, Perch and Starry Flounder amongst other fish. Fishing the Alsea Bay and River makes fishing from the shore, a dock or a boat fun for the whole family. Crabbing and Clamming is among the best in the state and the Port of Alsea allows for crabbing from its docks! Always consult with current fishing/shellfish regulations from the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife. Have a passion for kayaking? Bring that along, too, and follow the Alsea River Water Trail. Adventures abound while staying at Alsea Shores!

    Sleeps up to 10 - 2 Bedrooms, 2 Kings (that can be separated into two extra long Twin beds -- with 72 hours prior notice), 2 Built-in Twins, 1 Queen sofa sleeper, Full/Twin bunk bed in the garage, 4 baths.
    Vehicles: Licensed for 3 (Strictly enforced)
    Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

Property was in a great location, was clean and tidy when we arrived, and had a lot of charm! The house shows its age in some areas but was in great shape and was very comfortable. There wasn't any A/C in the home but opening the doors and windows in the evening and overnight kept the house cool enough even in 80 degree weather. We stayed as just a couple and it was almost too much house for what we needed. However, we saved it to our favorites as a great place to bring our three children and dog for future adventures!

Overall, the place was great for our group. Ample parking, a nice, large fenced in yard, hear for our dogs. It was just a minute walk to the waterfront. Ad there was plenty of space for all of us (9 adults) to sleep and hang out. There were some crumbs and stickiness left on some of the surfaces and there was a funky smell in the stairwell, but all in all, a good stay.

Great location if you are looking to be close to the boat launch! Very clean and dog friendly! Beds were comfortable. So nice to have a fenced in area and lots of different, fun spots for guests to spend time! Had some trouble with getting downstairs tvs to work so we could watch the football game, but with so many other things to do we didn’t mind. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice quiet location along the bay where you can relax. There is access to a walking path to the bay so you can walk along the bay or sit and watch sunsets. Fully fenced yard is a plus so dogs can be let outside off leash without fear of them wandering off.The property had good boat parking as well, I have a 20’ boat and there was plenty of room for it.Overall a nice place to vacation. My family had a great time.

Fishing with friends

This house worked really well for our weekend getaway. The house was clean. The neighborhood is lived in, not just vacation rentals. There was easy access to the bay..

Layout was great! Loved having 3 bathrooms! Plenty of towels and extra blankets! Puzzles and playing cards were an added bonus. Just enough cookware to support all of our cooking.Really enjoyed the closeness to the river.Property management team was very reachable and helpful.

Great place

Great place. Loved how easy it was to get to the beach on the river. The place was super clean. Only complaint is that the hot tub was too hot at 104 degrees and there was no way to adjust the temperature. Would definitely stay again.

Family getaway

Great open property, with a pathway to water. We got a text asking for feedback but did not get check in instructions until I asked multiple questions to the host. The property was clean and fit all our needs plus more. Central location to a lot of places.

Cute place with reading nooks and fenced yard

Fully fenced yard for pups. Easy quick walk to water. The view isn't of the ocean, which means you get more privacy! Clean and nice furnishings, lots of space. Would stay again!

Perfect for active dogs

We were two couples and two dogs who thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although I initially wanted a house on the beach, this was so much better since the wind was much calmer along the river. The fenced yard was perfect for the dogs. The house itself was spotless and had everything we needed for a great getaway. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location!

We had the most amazing time and loved how secluded this felt, yet close to everything at the same time. My kids loved the game room and we went down to the beach numerous times. Thr horse was nicely stocked with some thoughtful touches. Will be back!

Work trip with a great place to stay!

Loved the home. The garage was very useful. It rained all week while we were there so, it was nice to have a space to peel off rain gear & dry out before going inside. Great location! Close to the grocery store & the beach is right out the back gate! Loved the fenced yard for the pups! Thank you for having us.

Need to update appliances and fry pans,I had to rewash the plates and bowls, the barbecue grill is terrible and should be replaced. We saw a pair of underwear on the roof between the 2 balconies. But the house is comfortable other than that.

The place is great. Make sure to read all the instructions before going. I didn't do that ahead of time and had many questions because of it :) The property was nice. The dogs didn't want to leave because they had so much room to run and play outside. I think the double bed was supposed to have 2 people. I used the couch in the renovated garage, but it was very hard. The couch inside the house was really nice and would be a fine place to sleep though. The hot tub was ready to go and easy to access. The spare space heater was not working but the heater in the garage worked very well, heating the entire garage so we didn't end up needing it. We needed to push the BBQ start button several times to get it to fire up, and it worked great. The host was amazing. We had several questions at check-in and had to call after hours. They got to us pretty quickly and were quick at texting for all questions we had throughout the stay. Most of those questions were already answered in the check in reading but I failed to read that in a timely manner. They were still gracious. Overall we enjoyed our stay. There is a trail to the beach on the bay and that was a nice surprise for us :)

Just beachy

Everyone had a great time. Only complaint is one of the small beds was covered in dog hair. Maybe cleaners forgot to wash a sheet. Everything else was great. Lots of parking for the boat trailer and other cars, fully fenced for the dog to run, and great access to the beach.

A perfect spot for a break from reality

We arrived at the property and the outside was "not much" to look at. once we entered using the previously provided code, we found a delightful space with lots of room for lounging. It was clean and well equipped - ample towels, a game room, reading nooks, incredibly comfortable furniture, a large hot tub, and easy access to the beach - which was 50-70 yards away. Oh and an incredibly comfortable bed! walking distance to some good food choices and an tasty sourdough bakery. highly recommend!

Cute little house

We enjoyed our stay there. The house had so many lovely little nooks for sleeping or reading. The house did not have any salt or pepper, which was rough, but the rest of the materials in the kitchen were above and beyond. It was nice to be close to a beach along the river and a very close walk to the store. The surrounding houses are a little sketch, but the hot tub was very nice. Coffee maker definitely did not work, needs to be replaced.

Good location

Check in process was horrible. We were given the wrong code and it took a while to get a hold of someone. The wifi was intermittent and constantly had to be reset. The location and place were very nice, but a bit spendy for November.
