    Get your “Vitamin Sea” at this lovely, fresh, and peaceful beach cottage that allows you to bring your family dog too! The interiors are lovely and that outdoor living space is sure to recharge your batteries and keep the family together. The large pool (32 x 16) is a differentiator along with the poolside deck and hang out area for the entire family. The entire back yard has a fence with beautiful lawn, all surrounding the private pool, deck and covered patio. This fence with locked gate offers security around the pool and a great place for Fido to hang out when it's too hot for the beach. Inside the kids have their own space in the large first level suite with plenty of room to hang out, watch movies and play video games after a long day on the beach. The bathrooms are an oasis with beautiful tile and ceramic tile floors in serene seaside colors. The bedrooms are outfitted with quality comforters and TV's. The kitchen and great room offer a Southern Living cottage atmosphere so you never forget you are at the beach!

    Beach? Just one house from the corner, then take a straight shot to the Whiting Lane access. OR, rent or bring the bikes for hours of relaxing biking or walking along the quieter bayside of Whiting Lane where most of the locals choose to live.

    Private Pools are open starting the first weekend in May through the second weekend in October. Pool heat is not an option for this property. An additional fee will be charged to the leaseholder for the chemical balance, cleaning, or damage that would cause the replacement of a vinyl pool liner. This property provides a $250 credit toward beach gear delivered to your rental property. *Delivery fees may apply.* Offer only good for full weeks booked with check-ins beginning between May 22, 2026 and September 6, 2026.

    All Sandbridge Blue vacation rentals include bed linens, with beds made prior to your arrival for convenience. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant, and 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. Kitchens include drying towels. We also provide a starter supply of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and toilet paper.

Let me just say I've been doing this for the last 15 years, I have never stayed in a house quite like this:1.Very Dirty2.Carpets fifthy3.Ants crawing on coffe tables and kitchen counters4.Took me 15 minutes to clean up the dog waste in the back yard didn't attempt to clean the front yard which was horrendous.5.Not enough bowls and untensils in the Kichen area.6.The sliding glass doors were soo hard to open they need replaced.Should be an outdoor door to come in from the pool area.7. The pool area was very nice

Great Place!

We were in VA Beach for a wrestling tournament. We prefer to stay in a house as we can cook and relax. The house was very welcoming, comfortable and the beds were great.

Family Friendly, Pool Perfect

The pool was the selling point for us! The entire family, including a toddler and baby enjoyed it. Having two stories and outdoor seating by the pool gave us the space we needed.The beach was just a short walk away. Will definitely return!

Much Needed Vitamin Sea

We had a fabulous time. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Had the most awesome time at the pool/outdoor area. The beach was a convenient walk away. The only thing that needed improvement were the sliding doors. They were a bit heavy. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay. We would come back! Thank you!

Very good stay. However, not enough flatware. Advertised occupants are 14, yet there were only 11 forks, and not many more spoons or knives. Recommend more flatware. Also, the roasting pan had rust on the inside. Not very sanitary.

Great Family our Young Group house

My immediate family, in laws, and our two dogs stayed here at the end of September. The house needs a DEEP cleaning. We had to ask housekeeping to come back and clean the bathrooms and floors when we first arrived. The ceiling fans, outdoor furniture, light fixtures etc need a good dusting/cleaning. However, the layout of the house was great. Location is awesome Pool was super clean. Backyard is a fun space to hangout. If the property manager could guarantee the house received a deep cleaning I would definitely go back.

Great location needs some updates

We love Sandbridge and the house is really close to the beach. The kitchen and bathrooms are nice. But the rest of the house is outdated a bit. The sliding glass doors out to the deck are very old and don’t work well. The ice machine upstairs is broken. The property management was very responsive to send someone to grease the doors. But they need to be replaced. The upstairs living room couches are not comfortable. The beds upstairs seemed fine. Some updating would make this place a gem.

Great location and pool!

The location of the house is such an easy walk to the beach and the pool/fenced in back yard is great. We did have some issues with the remote controlled lights/ceiling fans in at least two of the bedrooms. They wanted to turn on and off on their own, i.e. the light would come on in the middle of the night or the fan would shut off for no reason. There isn't much in the way of cooking utensils, no oven mitts for removing things from the oven, and not enough silverware. The ice maker in the refrigerator/freezer upstairs didn't work, which would be good to know before you arrive so you can stop for bags of ice. But, overall this is a great house and I would rent again!

May Stay

We tried to go to the beach in May. Maybe it wasn’t the best time as the weather was kinda poor. That wasn’t the houses fault. The house has a few quirks such as it moves when people walk around in. I’d be sitting in bed and I’d feel like I was on a boat. Idk if there is anything to be concerned about structurally just nice to know bc at first I thought I was suffering vertigo or something. There are occupant limits on the decks ranging from 2-6 people at a time. And a weird house rule is not to have more than 3 ppl in a room after 11pm. Last, the wind blew and the house would make a loud whistle noise. These were the odd quirks but if you can get past that it’s a lovely house. It’s very convenient to the beach, we walked there multiple times each day. The house was clean enough and provided enough room and comfort.

Disappointed in the care

We were happy with the size and layout. Along with the amenities and location. However, there was no care put into being sure it was prepared for us to use. The trundle bed was covered with dog slobber and hair. We had to wipe out the drawers prior to putting our clothes in. The freezer had so much icy junk in it we had to remove some before we could put stuff in it and even then we struggled to open and shut it. The couches were filthy and we found dog treats under EVERYTHING. My husband cleaned the a/c filters and I cleaned the lights above the bar. When the fans were stopped the yuck fell off. The pool itself was beautiful but the use of the outside amenities were unusable because of how dirty everything was. We couldn’t even sit at the table. It definitely needs some TLC, but even just a decent cleaning would be AMAZING!

The house was accommodating, however the home was filthy. Beds had debris on the bottom sheet, dishwasher was full. Kitchen drawers were dirty, glassware questionable, garbage cans were full upon arrival, used condom and wrapper in a bathroom trash can, floors had not seen a mop or broom in ..., evidence of spills (or pets?). Upon arrival we washes all bed linens, when one is obviously dirty ... I washed all glassware on the 2 bottom shelves, washed all plates on bottom shelf, washed all silverware, cleaned out silverware holders, cleaned out several kitchen drawers. We spent Sat p.m. and Sunday cleaning. I put saniwipes on my feet and ran them around the main pathway on floors. In-pool lights, and outside pool lights were not working. These are the highlights of our week. I really don't expect to see this review on your site, so ...

The house is well-located and has a nice pool and layout. But virtually everything else about the property was problematic. The refrigerator broke (after making an increasingly loud noises for several days), the top drawer of the dishwasher was broken, the toilet didn't flush well, the sliding glass doors to the deck were difficult to maneuver (to the point that we only used the front door). The latch to the backyard gate was broken, and the grill didn't work. There were ants in the kitchen. The sliding glass door to the porch was shattered when we arrived. Although it was removed the second day of our stay, it still could have been a safety risk to the kids. The overhead light in the porch didn't work. We changed the bulb, despite the fact that the light had exposed wires and didn't look safe. The property lacked a lot of kitchen essentials (e.g., insufficient amount of silverware for a large group, no sponge, no serving bowls — we made salads in a pot). We have been coming to Sandbridge for years, and this was - hands down - the worst house we have ever stayed at. Incredibly poorly maintained. We would never return, and we were frankly stunned that owners would rent out a home in such poor condition.

Nice House With Great Access to the Beach

The house is spacious, with plenty of bedrooms. We liked that it wasn't overly-decorated. Simple, attractive, and clean. A few things should be upgraded...interior doors, sliding glass doors and windows. We rented this house mostly because of the pool and lounge area we saw in the on-line listing. Would have been great, I'm sure, but pool was filthy when we arrived. We contacted the rental office and they sent someone out to treat the pool. Took 5 days total. We never got to use the pool. After texting back and forth with their office a number of times, we are still waiting for an explanation and some kind of compensation. Makes no sense to me why the pool was not ready for renters. Other than this, it is a nice house for a family vacation. But the pool situation was a great frustration and put a damper on our stay.

Virginia Beach Thanksgiving 2021

We throughly enjoyed the property. We were walking minutes from the beach and less than a 15 minute drive to shopping centers. The property was as pictured, but showed signs of wear and tear. Carpets throughout the house were dirty, lighting fixtures needed cleaning and living room furniture on arrival showed dog hairs and furniture wasn’t comfortable for sitting. Otherwise, it was a great property. Lots of space and areas be together or to have alone time when needed. Check-in was a breeze, we put in the code and walked in the house. When we had a question the property management readily responded and when maintenance was needed, the issue was quickly corrected. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend the property.We enjoyed our vacation so much that we have already booked with the company for a Thanksgiving 2022 rental.

The property was not as clean as I would have hoped. We did call and they came and cleaned the rugs that were disgusting. The pool and outside area were awesome. Great location to the beach. If I was coming with other families I would have complained more about cleanliness but I had 9 boys with me!!! Love the area!!

New Years Weekend at Vitamin Sea

Our family had a great time celebrating the New Year at Vitamin Sea. It's a beautiful home a stone's throw from the beach for a great price! The house was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen/family room/sunroom area was a great place for all us to gather for meals and entertainment. Check-in and checkout were an absolute breeze. Great communication with the property manager, both before and during our stay. The recent renovations have shown the true potential of Vitamin Sea. When the the old sliders and windows are upgraded, Vitamin Sea will be a much sought after vacation destination. I know we are planning to return soon! We highly recommend staying at Vitamin Sea for your next vacation!

Great Location, close to beach

This was the perfect little beach get away. The home is very comfortable. The beach is in view from the back porch and only a very short walk to access. Our dogs loved running in the waves. The property is newly renovated with a great clean beach feel. The property management is very attentive and checked in after our first night to make sure we had everything we needed. We brought attention to a couple of minor concerns and management was not only apologetic; but reassuring that they would take care of it. We will certainly stay with the Blue again.
