You'll fall in love with the contemporary, open floor plan of this top-floor condo, which boasts one of the few oversized balconies. It's also one of the only retreats offering views of both the ocean and bay area, along with the outdoor pool courtyard.

This rare gem is filled with unique touches, from the multiple windows inviting natural light to the beautiful hardwood floors and ample comfortable seating for the whole family. The Mac Shack comes equipped with everything you need to enhance your stay, including games, books, DVDs, premium cable channels, and a variety of movies for evening or rainy-day entertainment.

In the open-concept living and dining area, there’s comfortable seating for the entire family, a large TV with premium cable, a spacious dining table, and a separate desk area for computer use. One of the two private balcony entrances is just off the dining area. Next to the dining space is a full-sized kitchen, complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. You'll find everything you need to prepare family meals, from cookware to utensils and tableware.

The first main suite, located just off the kitchen, includes a king bed, dresser storage, closet space, a private bathroom, and the second access to the private balcony. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in natural light, so you can wake up to the sunrise over the ocean.

The second and third bedrooms are perfect for accommodating a large family, with a queen bed in the second bedroom and two twin beds in the third. The second suite also has a private bathroom, while both rooms feature ample closet space, dressers, and beach-themed decor.

You'll appreciate the convenience of the garage-level storage closet and two assigned parking spaces, located next to the elevator for easy access. At pool level, you'll find Viking-style outdoor grills and teak seating for the whole family.

Unit was pretty clean, the only thing we noticed is the baseboards could use a dusting and carpets were stained. Perfect space for grandparents traveling with one girl and two boys..everyone had their own room. Kitchen well stocked with cooking pans but no spices other than salt and pepper. Nice views. We especially enjoyed the sunsets. We effortlessly checked in after hours, however we had trouble finding the elevator from the garage. Hint for anyone like us, there is an unmarked door in the garage that opens to the elevator but don't expect a sign. We enjoyed our stay!

Not the best experience

Unfortunatley, I did not realize I was renting through a large management/rental company.....the key fobs did not work the exterior locked entrances....The key mechanism on the unit front door is really tricky and we had a lot of trouble getting the front door open. There was something sticky all over the living room floor. The unit is heavily rented and it shows. It served our purpose but I would not return. Too many other options.

Family of 4, 4 night stay

The place fit our needs family of 4. You have a little bit of an ocean view which was nice. Towels available were 6 sets but washer was available. Kitchen had what we needed. We stayed 4 nights total. Ants were by couch but it was quickly taken care of with a text message. Check in/out process was a pain to be honest, not on same location so if you don’t have your own vehicle it’s a pain (which we did not, we used Ubers/Lyfts). You have to pick up & drop off the keys at the separate location about 4 1/2 miles from condo. Also Uber/lyfts can be difficult to get because of the location but this is not their fault by any means just a heads up for others who plan on not having a vehicle. Overall we were satisfied with the place. Beds were comfortable, everything worked,over all was clean.

Great Location

I loved the layout and location but the kitchen area was very dirty. Inside fridge wasn’t clean;,outside fridge and dishwasher were dirty; outside cabinets dirty. The kitchen sink faucet wasn’t working properly; unable to get any hot water. I did call Vacasa maintenance about these items, along with toilet running in master bathroom. Toilet was repaired and then a plumber came the next day to replace entire kitchen faucet. This unit needs a good thorough cleaning; my feet were black from walking barefoot inside. I have requested through Vacasa my cleaning fee be returned. In addition, the outside balcony was dirty and needs to be cleaned.

A good stay is okay.

While the condo is clean some things were left out of the description like some construction going on. The "ocean front" view describes the entire complex not the specific unit so the ocean was there from behind another building in a complex of four buildings. I was not happy about that. We watched movies at night with lights out but lights from outside I could not shut out. There was a light coming from the utility opening where the wall had been cut out and the light left on in the wall on the patio. All little things that added up to being one overall disappointment.

Great location for visiting refuge and False Cape state park

Description of condo was pretty accurate, and we anticipated the construction that was happening in the complex per description. We had an issue with the keys/entry, but Vacasa quickly fixed the issue. The reason why I gave a rating of 4 vs 5 for cleanliness...wasn't because the condo wasn't clean...it's because of the wear & tear of the carpet in the bedrooms, mainly the master bedroom. Layout of the condo is great and all the amenities are fine. Storage closet in the parking garage was important for us, we were able to fit our 4 bikes, beach toys and beach chairs in the closet.
