"An unbelievably pleasant stay. Derg Arms was a half way stop for me as I was traveling between Sligo and the north coast of Ireland. For a really good nightly rate i got a well maintained, clean room and a fantastic free breakfast in the morning The entire staff and owner were beyond accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling."

"We were greeted by Johnny who was a superb host. Our room was large with a balcony and chairs. The community center was adjacent to the property with a walking track which was fabulous on overcast days when you want to walk but not get caught in the rain. We had asked if there was a refrigerator we could keep a few things in and within an hour or two Johnny’s dad John had bought a new refrigerator for us to use. We stayed for a week and had somewhere to explore daily. The water pressure and hot...

"The hotel was easy to find and well located for the town. We were quickly checked in and our room was very comfortable (especially the beds) and clean. Our rate included breakfast and this was hot and tasty with lots of choice. All the staff we met were so friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return."

"lovely "

"The staff were absolutely amazing. They were polite, efficient and a credit to the hotel"

"We had a lovely stay the room was spacious and clean, all the staff we interacted with were very polite and friendly! Great food in the bar and a good breakfast selection…we would be very happy to stay in the Everglades again."

"Not bad"

"Great location and loved the room and artwork everywhere. It was a great room and liked how there was a separation door between the two rooms. I wish there was more communication. I tried reaching out about my room details, but was left unanswered. Lucky, the room situation with the two beds works out! Overall, loved the room, beds were a bit firm (but I like more firm beds) and everything was nice and clean. Would stay there again!"

"Great stay. Lovely place"

"Great hotel in a central location. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable."

"Clean room"

"Room was clean, parking was street parking"

"Nice hotel with great parking and short walk to town"

"Number 8 in Derry has been our favorite place to stay in our 2 week trip exploring Ireland. It had the most comfy beds of our whole trip. The house was built in 17… (1762, if memory serves) and retains its character while having been updated with modern amenities. Staff was wonderful to chat with at breakfast in the dining room. Located just inside the city walls, Number 8 is steeped in rich history. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat! Wish we’d stayed a few more nights!"

"It’s worth visiting Derry just to stay at The Lawrence; it’s a gem with lovely ambience and wonderful staff. David’s walking tour is a must, and the delicious breakfast was served with a smile. Don’t miss the best porridge you might ever eat! Complimentary beverages and snacks, comfy common areas, and a literary theme throughout - it’s through and through charming. Thank you!"

"Loved the area, it was very walkable. The room was clean and a good size. Appreciated the free parking option but it was a little difficult carting 4 bags of luggage from parking to the room, then up the stairs."

"Wonderful Stay. Place is great"

"We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was nice. THANKS"

"About a 10min walk outside of the walled city, the inn was clean and quiet, with a simple room for a good rate."
