Just ok

We were disappointed in this property. It was in a nice area, but the unit offered only the bare minimum that I would find acceptable for a rental. There was no hand soap or hand towels in the bathrooms. Four lightbulbs were burnt out. The shades were broken on two of the bedroom windows. Two of the stools in the kitchen were so wobbly we didn’t feel safe to use them. The clothing rack in the upstairs bedroom was broken. The bathrooms were not as clean as I would like (dusty baseboards, slightly grimy fixtures). The sheets were super cheap polyester. Also, just a note for future renters, there is a long steep staircase up to the door and we had an older person in our party who had a bit of a hard time with the climb. Not good for anyone with mobility limitations.

VERY Underwhelming

From booking through our stay, this property left much to be desired. First, because it is run by a property managing company, there was no way to contact anyone BEFORE booking to ask any questions. I took a shot anyway because the price was really reasonable and the description seemed to have everything that our family needed for a three night stay close to Mountain Creek. It was not ski on/ski off, but I knew that going in, the drive to the lodge was as described--not bad.I emailed our "contact" the day before to confirm that the condo had linens and a washer and drier--yes this was listed, but we have encountered misleading descriptions before, so I just wanted to double check. I did not receive any response.We reached the condo later than anticipated, and without the door being lit it was a little challenging to figure out which one was ours. Once there, the keyless entry did not work. Again, I tried to call our contact and did not get an answer. I did get an answer right away when I called the managing company and they gave me what seemed to be the code from the previous person's stay. From a security standpoint, this did not fill me with warm and fuzzies. Once we got into the condo, it was modestly appointed, warm, and clean enough. However, there was no welcome letter with a wifi password. We had to call for that. No laundry detergent was left for us, and only 1 dishwashing pod was left. When we checked out, the dishwasher would not turn on.

Great getaway spot in Vernon!

Wonderful experience with family and friends. Would definitely recommend to others if looking to get away for a weekend or longer at Mountain Creek.

Nice ski condo

The property was clean and nicely decorated; it provided all the amenities for a family with children. The description of "ski on/ski off" was slightly misleading as not easy to access.

Beautiful Condo :)

The condo is beautiful and clean. The neighborhood is beautiful too. The host answered ours question kind, respectful and on time. We have two disability teens, and the access is complicated, but we enjoy the place.

Much needed get away

Very nice location, close to everything you could need. Unit was clean and efficient. Communicating was easy when we had an issue with the wi-fi. Very nice would come back.

Very noisy-especially in the morning. Towels were limited. No internet service or tv. Was on the phone for a long time with the owner and cable people to fix the issue. Not my idea of feeling relaxed solving the internet issue. Cat hair everywhere.

Little mountain get away

We stayed here after visiting New York City. It was nice and quiet. The property is nice. We did not use any amenities so I'm not sure if the condo rental includes pool/golf course etc privledges. The unit we stayed in was acceptable, but not spic and span. There is some construction work going on- nice updates to kitchen and bath. But there is construction dust around and makes the whole place seem dirty. I'm sure after the renovation is complete, it will be very nice.
