Beautiful and peaceful location. Perfect for a weekend gateway for two any time of the year or for a long summer family vacation. The accommodation was just as promised and actually surpassed our expectations. Very roomy and lots of facilities available for use. Loved walking around the property and exploring the cave and lake.

Nice condos, clean, lots of amenities. Just to point out that Expedias photos were misleading. The property is on the lake BUT most condos are not. This means you are hoofing it to a small lakefront with no parking. Easy downhill… a climb uphill… or use car to drop off paddle boards then hoof up to bring car back. Not opposed to extra exercise, but the photos made me believe we were lakefront…. Steps away. Maybe you can request a closed condo when booking. We were at the back …. Not even lake view.

Amazing property, very well built, situated in a very quiet and peaceful part of the okanagan. Highly recommend this resort and will definitely be back!

upon our arrival we came in later and our fridge/freezer didn’t work, luckily we had ice on hand and were able to stick everything in a cooler because there are no maintenance staff that stay on site overnight. i was able to get the fridge working by morning. keith brought ice out to replace ours that melted over night. went for a girls trip and would definantly book again with family.

Such a lovely, peaceful place to stay. Loved the nature trails nearby, the beach at Hurlbert Park. It’s located a picturesque 20-25 minutes away from Vernon but convenient to all amenities. We will for sure be coming back!

This property is a hidden gem. Excellent for a small family. Peaceful and cozy. Amazing views, great setting for a all round getaway.

We booked our South Bay home a year in advance. 72 hrs before out trip, the outback let us know that they are putting is in Trout Lake because our place is no longer available. We spoke with the Outback staff with no prevail. We contacted Expedia and they told me that someone more important than me has our house. I said “I’m important” Expedia said “unfortunately they are more important”. We did not find out where we were staying until we arrived. We ended up with Quarry Bay 2 bedroom vs our 3 bedroom. Turns out the house was sold and nobody reached out to us. Our trip was ruined as we were unsure what was going on and we received no assistance during the process. I wont use expedia anymore. The Outback did refund us the difference plus 1 night free. Money doesnt matter, its the promised grad present that never happened. Will I book avain at the Outback…???

This is not a traditional hotel. It's a Condo Owner based property, essentially a fancy air bnb. Your experience will vary from unit to unit. If they are deciding to renovate your unit during your stay, guess what - you have no control. There is no one site support after 4pm to help you with anything. Take the reviews with a grain of salt because the ownership group is probably padding them to make their property appear attractive. It's 25 minutes out of town so you will need to bring your own food unless you want to spend 2 hours going to eat. The over all the feel of the resort is that you're an outsider sharing it with the ownership group. The one private beach is more if a owners paddle board boat launch. The on site manager is fantastic, hospitable and wonderful to deal with - but he's limited by the owners of the individual units. Over all of recommend avoiding any strata or condo based rentals in the valley. Just go find an Air BNB so at least you have Air BNB support and a direct line to the owners. I would not recommend this resort. You're paying Fairmont prices for Super 8 quality.

Very Quiet and peaceful. Good place to relax. Gym was very small even for just 2 people at one time. The map of the area is not very good, kinda confusing to look at.

Really loved the location was beautiful and lots of walks. The condo was comfortable and welcoming. Our condo had dirty dishes, eggs still on pans and almost every plate was chipped. I believe they make the guests clean the dishes the housekeeping doesnt do it, because the cups and plates were not properly cleaned. There was also only 2 towels in the bathroom and no laundry detergent. Lastly, there were few tv channels that worked, to use shaw on demand you needed a code to rent movies which we were not given, would have been nice to be able to use the tv and be charged for the movies but was not possible.

We are from Calgary and arrived Outback Vacation Homes late. With the clear direction and guides emailed to us before our arrival we had no problem to enter our unit when the office was closed. We did the check-in at the office the next morning. Our 3 bedroom condo has 3 bathrooms is perfect for 6 people stay. The place is clean, comfortable and well equipped with a washer, dryer, gourmet kitchen & a BBQ grill. We will come back for getaways.

This is an exceptional property. Clean, well appointed, incredible scenery. We didn't use the pool/hot tub area so this is why the average rating for Amenities.

Tranquil surroundings. Dog friendly.

Staff was friendly and accommodating and the picturesque location was second to none and dog friendly! Doesn't get much better!

Nice location, cabin was not to expectations.

They have nice amenities but the cabin was dirty. When we got we found three dead Bugs and had to sweep all the floors and balcony off. Lots of other little things also didn't meet expectations. Wouldn't go back again.
