Modern, stylish and beautifully appointed. Seagrass offers you luxury, comfort and complete relaxation. Boasting an excellent location, surf beach No. 5 is only a five minute walk away, so close you can hear the waves roll in. Its bright, spacious open plan living extends to a large deck, just the place for a relaxing drink after a day at the beach. A north facing aspect, ensures year round sunlight, making Seagrass a cosy winter retreat as well.

An ideal getaway with plenty to offer ...

Swim and surf fabulous waves or bask in fine golden sand, " ... our beach is rated in Victoria's top five ... ", or enjoy the quiet bay and calm waters of the inlet.

Nature lovers can bush walk through sand dunes and ti tree covered hills or fossick the wide sandy beaches. Discover important wetlands and abundant wild life. You may even spot migrating whales during the September/October whale watching season, or simply enjoy a tranquil picnic along the river bank.

Explore the area's historical attractions, Cape Liptrap Lighthouse, Walkerville's Lime Kilns and Venus Bay's many indigenous heritage sites.

Tarwin River and Anderson's Inlet is a fisherman's haven with plenty of good fishing spots and many wooden platforms available, or you can even try surf fishing.

At day's end enjoy a glass of local wine, watching the sun set over the sea - a sight not so common along Australia's southern coast!

Venus Bay ... 'Victoria's best kept secret'

Less than two hours drive from Melbourne, on Gippsland's south coast, is the quaint township of Venus Bay. Nestled in the hilly dunes of Andersons Inlet, opposite Inverloch, between Phillip Island and Wilsons Prom. Abundant in natural beauty, Venus Bay forms part of the Cape Liptrap Coastal park and boasts five glorious surf beaches on a 22km stretch of pristine coastline.

Excellent location for beach No. 5.The host, George & Vasy have thought off every little things you may need for your getaway. However, you should bring your own beach towels. Love seeing the bunnies at the backyard.Love the deco of the spacious cleaned house. We’ll be back again.

Amazing Stat with everything you need

We stayed for the long weekend and it was an amazing relaxing weekend. You can’t ask for a better host as everything is provided and the details in the guide from the host were very detailed. Also, the details and communication from the host before we arrived helped us greatly.

Clean and comfortable with fantastic and friendly owners.

Fantastic place close to the beach. Clean, comfortable with everything you need from long handled tongs for the bbq to hammocks and a telescope. Friendly and helpful hosts who returned a shirt I left behind by mail, good people. Would stay there again.

A really great break

Located a short walk from No 5 beach, Seagrass was an ideal property to book a short mid-week stay. The property was well appointed, clean and plenty of extras such as a hammock and telescope to make the stay more enjoyable.

Wonderful Property

Was a great stay. House was immaculate and very comfortable beds . George was very responsive and there was a wonderful Christmas gift on arrival. Will happily stay there again some time. Will say that you need to take food with you as there is very little open in town until Wednesday and no nearby take away. Great spot if you like the peace and quiet.

Nestled getaway

Seagrass is a nestled house only a few minutes walk to No.5 beach . The house is well fitted out with most things you would need for a weekend or a week away. Very comfortable and well layed out home giving kids their own space to escape. George is awesome with his quick responses to any questions you may have either prior or during your stay.

Relaxing

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Seagrass, it's a very short walk to the beach and lots of local wildlife in the area. The house was set up well and had some really nice touches. George was very communicative and helped out when I needed some date changes.

Sea grass Venus Bay

Great place ,it has everything you need, very clean and quiet area, walking distance from beach #5. A bit further from the town centre than I thought though. The family had a great time and I would recommend and book again.
