Campiello Barbaro is a bright and quite apartment in the heart of Venice, directly placed in front of Cá Dario palace. It is composed by two bedrooms (one double and one single room), a living room, a kitchen and bathroom.
The place let you reach Piazza San Marco in 5 minutes by Vaporetto and is placed in the amazing atmosphere incantevole of Punta della Salute, a thin point that separe The Grand Canal and il The Giudecca Canal, in front of Bacino San Marco.
For position the apartment is the best choice you can find to visit Salute Cathedral and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection Gallery and is very close to San Marco Square.

Great second stay

Sergio is a caring and responsive host. The apartment is wonderfully located and has lovely views. It’s clean, comfortable and well appointed. This was our second time staying at this apartment and we’re hoping to stay there again.

Good location

Clean and nice location on the canal. Missing some of the basics like salt, pepper, paper towels. The remote controls for the tv did not work. The address on the VRBO site is not correct. and the host spoke very little to zero english.

Nice place to stay in Venice

Nice place to stay in quiet Dusodoro - close to everything and a couple minutes walk from the 2 euro gondola ferry to piazza San Marco. Good restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

Amazing location and beautiful home!

We had a fantastic time and was kindly greeted by Sergio who also gave us local recommendations which we tried and loved. The rooms are spacious with a gorgeous view with all amenities needed. We were within walking distance to all sightseeing spots and would highly recommend this accommodation!

Stunning location in the heart of Venice

This property met our needs perfectly; spacious for 3 people, renovated kitchen and bathroom, located in the heart of Venice a few steps away from the Peggy Guggenheim museum; Sergio was a gentleman, meeting us at the waterbus stop and taking us to the property (in the pouring rain). Staying here helped make our stay even more memorable!

Sergio's place very comfortable

Sergio's place is quite a large apartment in a 3-storey house in Venice. Full of charm but updated kitchen and bath, so very comfortable. Great location and Sergio very helpful, although English not one of his best languages (4 others I think). Thank you Sergio! If we get a chance we would certainly stay again.

Perfect for three

Sergio was a great host and very accommodating with our delayed evening arrival. Apartment was perfect for our family of three adults. The compact kitchen with cloths washer was perfect and canal window views of the neighborhood activities were very engaging. We love the Dorsoduro area and Sergio’s place made it even better. Looking forward to a return trip.

Great Venice apartment in a quiet, residential area.

We had a wonderful stay here while visiting Venice. Sergio was friendly and helpful in getting us settled in. He met us at the vaporetto stop and walked us to the apartment, pointing out restaurants he recommended along the way. Was a nice refuge from the overcrowded areas of the city.

Wundervolle Wohnung

Vorab... die Wohnung und vor allem die Lage der Wohnung war perfekt. Leider stimmt die gekennzeichnet Lage auf der Karte nicht mit der tatsächlichen Lage überein. In Wirklichkeit befindet sich die Wohnung direkt bei der Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Die Wohnung war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. Das Bad hat einige Gebrauchsspuren aber ist dennoch sauber. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

une semaine à Venise

Au 2ème étage de l'immeuble , chaque pièce de l'appartement situé en coin sont munies de 1 ou 2 fenêtres qui donnent de la clarté et une vue très agréable sur un petit canal , une placette ( jolie carte postale ) Dans le quartier Dorsoduro près du pont Accademia à côté du musée Peggy Guggenheim , vous êtes au calme et près de tout . Monsieur Canziani répond gentiment et rapidement à toutes vos questions . La seule appréciation négative que je pourrais faire c'est une petite négligence sur l'entretien . La bouilloire était entartrée ++ , j'ai du la nettoyer avant de l'utiliser . Dans la chambre la couette avait une tache , dans la salle de bains la porte du placard est retenue par du scotch et le haut du mur au dessus du wc aurait besoin d'une retouche de peinture pour cacher surement un dégât du à une fuite . Ce sont des petits détails qui peuvent être réglés facilement et qui laisseraient un meilleur souvenir de l'ensemble Nous avons passé malgré tout un très bon séjour

Quiet, comfortable well situated

Wonderful stay in Venice. Located a short walk from Accadamia bridge. Very quiet area. Comfortable bed. Kitchen works well. The comments about the shower are true, it’s not hot by American standards, but totally sufficient. Would stay here again. But understand, lots of stairs so be sure you can handle that.

Lovely apartment with gorgeous views

This is a lovely apartment in a fantastic location, with beautiful views over the canal and rooftops. The local neighbourhood is interesting to explore with lots of local shops and restaurants and felt peaceful after the crowds of San Marco. We were met at the Vaporetto stop by the friendly owner and the apartment has a homely feel, is well equipped and has a lovely main bedroom and lounge in particular. The second bedroom has a single bed but was fine for our 15 year old daughter. The apartment is on the second floor of a beautiful looking house and if you like art, the Peggy Guggenheim is on your doorstep! We would definitely visit again. Thank you to Sergio and Loretta.

Incredible location with great view

We stayed here with our 2 daughters age 9 and 12. The location is great, especially if you have the vaporetta pass. The view out our window on the canal was perfect and you can enjoy a nice glass of wine looking out. There is a gelato shop next door and lots of food close. The owner was very nice but has limited English but he got us settled easily and met us on the dock. The unit was very clean, the hot water could have been warmer but the spaciousness of the unit made up for it. We did a free walking tour in the Academia neighborhood that was also good and gave great tips on where to eat and drink more reasonably.

Très beau séjour - je le recommande

Nous étions 5 adultes qui avons apprécié avoir 3 chambres à coucher. L’appartement est très propre et tout en étant dans un endroit moins touristique est tout de même près de tout (à 10 minutes de la Place St-Marc). Le propriétaire est venu nous chercher au VAporetto, ce qui a facilité notre arrivée. Il nous a donné des indications de resto et magasins que nous avons appréciées. Venise est une belle ville.
