Duplex Casin dei Spiriti up to 12 persons

Located near the Misericordia in the district of Cannaregio, the Duplex Casin dei Spiriti offers for rent 2 apartments recently renovated by a renowned French architect. They can accommodate from 2 to 6 people for a total of 12 people.

It is an exceptional place in Venice for the quality of the setting, the architectural services and the extraordinary decoration. Each apartment has an independent entrance and a private outdoor area.

The location of the Casin dei Spiriti, away from the tourist streams, makes it an oasis of calm, conducive to rest and reflection, and also the starting point for the discovery of the city and its major events. Indeed its proximity to the Grand Canal and Fondamente Nuove allows to join all the interesting places of the city but also the islands of the northern lagoon (Murano, Burano, Torcello). And the airport is 20 minutes taxi-boat or 40 minutes by Alilaguna. The Piazzale Roma (car parks) or the train station are a few minutes away by vaporetto.

The access is Fondamenta del Abbazia by a monumental entrance, overlooking a garden, then in the building shared between a Foundation (exhibitions) and the apartments.

Very pretty place. It is recently renewed. Nice space downstairs. There are 3 doors to get into the property where the apartment is so is very secure. We only had one set of keys, so it took a bit of coordination when we got separated. Simone was very friendly and gave us some tips as well as showed us around the apartment.

Terrific property in Venice. Great location, easy to get everywhere. Property consists of one or two apartments. We rented both. Every easy to access, clean, great layout and amenities. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Venice as a couple or family/group. The location is very accessible and has plenty of restaurants and places to eat but isn't in the middle of the tourist areas or crowds.

Great apartment in quiet neighborhood

We had a lovely stay in this apartment during a quick visit to Venice. Simon was communicative and helpful upon check in and check out. Highly recommend for folks looking to stay in a quieter neighborhood while still being walking distance to all of the main attractions.

Comfortable and quiet!

We booked both apartments for a group of friends and enjoyed our stay. The apartments were clean, comfortable, and in a quiet area. We would stay there again. Communication was quick and easy, Thomas and Simon were both quick to respond to all queries. We had plenty of shared space to hang out together and then retreat to our own rooms when it was time to sleep.

Great place for large groups

Pros: My group of 6 couples had a great time renting these two apartments in Venice. The location is a little ways from the main tourist attractions, but it was nice to be located in a quieter area with some great resturants, bars, and cafes nearby. The place was clean and just as described. The pictures in the listing represented the place well. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensiles and pans you would need for cooking. The host did provide us with a pack and play for one of my friends baby which was greatly appreciated! The host was a great communicator and was very helpful in setting up water taxis for us on the way too and from the island. Cons: I will say the couples in the beds did find them to be rather uncomfortbale and the pull out couch was more comfortbale than the beds. Our situation also may have been different than people who usually rents this apartment, as we were 6 couples and not one family, but we found having one set of keys for each apartment took a significant amount of planning and coordination on our parts as we were not always togehter throughout the day. It would have been helpful if there was a lock box to put the keys when everyone went their seperate ways during the day.

Out of the way, cool place

Our stay was in a very interesting setting— behind a functioning gallery space, we stayed in modern and elegant apartments. The entering and exiting takes a bit of practice, as there are many keys and locks involved in this situation. The spaces are roomy and comfortable. Nice kitchens, bathrooms offered great water pressure and beds were comfortable. The only thing one might be weary of it the fact that there are no windows in the bedrooms, as they look into the interior courtyards. Very quiet and very private.

Great Staff and Excellent Location

I had a fantastic stay at Casini Del Spiriti. The service was impeccable, and the staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Its location made it easy to explore the Venice and was able to get water taxis from closest location to Murano lagoon. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Venice. Thank you for the hospitality !!!

Great location

I rented two adjacent 2 bedroom units for 7 of us, including 5 adults & two grandchildren for 10 nights. Both units are large & well equipped. The location is situated on a quieter canal but within 5 minutes walk of anything one could need. Restaurants in this area are better than most in the more populated tourist areas. However the couch and beds in one unit were very uncomfortable. Most certainly the beds need new mattresses. Both units are in desperate need of a paint refresh & deep cleaning. These inconveniences were made up by the size and quietness of the units and location. The outdoor dining tables were a bonus. The host Simon was very helpful, responsive & friendly.

Fantastic stay

The property was beautiful. Clean and modern. It was perfect for 2 families with 2 apartments next door. The only issue was some flooding in the bathroom from the shower. The property manager was a huge help - from arranging water taxis to restaurant suggestions. 100% recommend

Clean, quiet, spacious, and modern apartment

A very clean and spacious apartment located just 10 minutes walk from F.te Nove water taxi stop which is just about 20 minutes to the airport. The apartment was clean and in a very secure location just a few minutes walk to restaurants, bars, and shops. We stayed in the winter when some areas of Venice flood in the morning but thankfully this area did not. No tv though so this is perfect for those really wanting quietx

Modern luxury in a fabulous location

Our family of 12 had a wonderful time exploring Venice. The visit was made even better by our stay in these new, super clean and conveniently located apartments! They are in a great area of the city and are very private and secure. The best part about the trip was the host! He was extremely helpful from arranging our water taxi from the train station to dinner reservations. I could not recommend these apartments more, they exceeded all of our expectations as did the host!
