Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Lots of space with bright decor. Venice has so much to offer with their enchanting shoppes, restaurants and world renowned beaches that are minutes away. Or a night in on the back lanai with the beautiful scenery in your back yard.

Please DONT swim in the water off back yard.

Please note the community pool is not open when Florida weather is colder than 70 degrees.

Great area. Clean home, beds are very comfortable. This was our second time staying at this home. The interior is great and quite spacious. The backyard has a canal/lake which has terrific wildlife with many birds and turtles and makes the property!! Patio furniture, although some pieces are new, is very uncomfortable . The older pieces are fraying. The grill is on its last legs. Host is great to work with.

Great backyard

The interior of the house is very nice. We had some plumbing issues that were addressed. The backyard on the canal was terrific with lots of wildlife!! The interior furniture was really great however the outside furniture was old and rickety. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we plan to return.

Great location on intercoastal

The home is light and airy and very comfortable. It is right on the water so we enjoyed sea birds and sunshine on the patio. Peaceful and quiet in the back yard. Comfortable beds. Owner always available. We enjoyed two weeks here.

Might have shared that half of house was missing!

Arrived to find broken outdoor solar lighting out front, no outside lighting [pitch black in the evenings there]. Inside were filthy floors, dead and alive roaches/bugs everywhere. Still had dishes in dishwasher...but the biggest disappointment was the entire back of the house was missing! No outdoor lanai, where we expected to spend the bulk of our time [according to online photos]. My siblings and I all came from colder climates, so spending time outdoors was the draw to this property. Not once did the owner share the roof was missing and just tarped, the back of the house was gone, huge tree laying across back yard and there was broken/worn furniture throughout the home. How long had this property sat empty prior to us coming? It being Christmas holiday other rentals in the area were booked. Therefore we spent the first day cleaning floors, spraying for bugs, changing lightbulbs, etc to make it livable for the week. The interior had been updated in areas and the sheets were clean, but that was all that was. Such a disappointment. to feel stuck on what was to be a celebration and relaxation. Never got a checkout email or any closing instruction...although we left the unit in much better shape than we found it for sure. Online check out was stated at 11am, lady was in the driveway at 10:20 waiting for us to exit.

Great Place in Venice

The house was perfect for us. Quiet neighborhood that was walkable. I loved that the master bedroom was on one side of the house, and the other bedrooms were separated by the bathroom, so there was no shared wall. We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings and evenings watching the wildlife in the water. Communication with Erika was excellent - any question we had was addressed immediately. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of towels. I highly recommend it based on interaction with and responsiveness from owners alone. Having a clean and well-maintained house in a quiet neighborhood was gravy.

This home is spacious and the screened in porch overlooking the pond is fabulous. Easy walking in neighborhoods nearby. Host responded to the few needs we had.

Very clean and surfaces updated. New paint. Beds comfortable. Streaming on TVs. Good location. My disappointment was the lack of decor. No lamps in living area. The lani was devoid of any plants as shown in pictures. Very limited decor not like pictures. Landscape was weeds.

Really nice house!

My husband and I and our two adult children stayed at the house over Christmas. We also had our dogs which was really nice. This house is very comfortable and well done. The screened in patio was super nice as we had a couple of days of rain. It is close to the beaches and restaurants and grocery. There is even a Planet Fitness close by. The furniture and beds were all comfortable. The washer and dryer were in the garage and having access to this for sandy beach things and loading and unloading was nice. The owner (or manager) was very responsive when needed. We would definitely recommend this house and will rent again if the need arises.

Wonderful, would stay again!!

The home is clean, spacious, comfortable, and located perfectly between being close to stores/restaurants yet far enough that you are not in the crazy mix of things and can relax. The owners are kind and quick to correspond to any questions. We made lots of use of the washer/dryer due to many beach visits and enjoyed morning coffee in the screened in lanai. This home was more than spacious enough for our family of four (adult child and teenage child) but had plenty more space for larger families. We would definitely stay at this property again if we make our way back to Venice!!❤️

Venice is paradise!

We stayed at this beautiful home for 2 months. Location, location, location! It is close to the beaches (5-10 minute drive,) downtown Venice, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. When we arrived the house looked just like the pictures and it is very clean. The neighborhood has sidewalks which was nice for taking our dog on daily walks. There is ample parking in the driveway. The kitchen is stocked adequately for home cooked meals. The gas grill came in very handy when we grilled our fresh fish from Detwilers Market. it was nice to relax in the large screened in back porch. It backs up to a large pond with abundant Floridian wildlife. A small fenced in yard was convenient for our dog. A new washer and dryer are in the garage next to a large utility sink. There is a community pool close to the house but it does not open until April. The host was very kind and receptive to our needs. This home suited our needs perfectly and Venice was wonderful!
