Waterfront Beachhouse: Best Harbor Location and View

  • Ubicado en el primer puerto interior del intendente, con vista al Yacht Club, con las mejores vistas de la isla.

    Nuestra casa de playa, con una gran terraza y diseño de Greatroom, es perfecta para disfrutar del verano y relajarse. Hay cuatro habitaciones (tres con camas king / queen y una con literas), dos baños y una sala de recreación en la planta baja con una mesa de ping pong y futón queen.

    Una cocina de demostración de concepto abierto, espaciosa y con vistas desde cada ventana, permite cocinar y entretener en grupo. Una nueva estufa de alto BTU lo hace fácil.

    Mesa de comedor con capacidad para 10 para la cena. ¡El piano en la habitación asegura que todos estén entretenidos!

    La cubierta masiva es lo mejor de la casa. Observe el desfile de botes hacia y desde el Quartermaster Yacht Club, así como la Marina, durante todo el día. Rodeado de imponentes árboles de 200 ', las águilas y los cormoranes son increíbles de ver. Muy privado, no puedes ver vecinos y tienes tu propia playa privada, muelle y pasarela. Se proporciona una parrilla de gas para su uso.

    Un ocho de última generación (¡8!) persona Hot Springs La bañera de hidromasaje también da al puerto. Usando tecnología de iones de plata, se basa en un mínimo de cloro, para aquellos con sensibilidades. Cuenta con una opción de luces de colores para la diversión nocturna.

    El puerto interior es tranquilo y está lleno de áreas para explorar. Dos puertos deportivos, un centro de kayak, lancha y parque están muy cerca. Ofrecemos un bote de remos y dos tablas de remo de pie, así como chalecos salvavidas de todos los tamaños. Focas, garzas, cormoranes y una gran variedad de cangrejos y almejas están allí para observar y disfrutar.

    Vashon es un país rural, pero puedes caminar hasta la mejor tienda general que queda en el condado, Harbour Mercantile (The Burton Store), una hermosa caminata de 10 minutos. Además, el Burton Coffee Stand está al otro lado de la calle, y las Vashon Bikes llevan bicicletas eléctricas y alquilan una amplia selección por hora o día. El Burton Loop, con su famoso centro de kayak, parques y campamentos de verano, también está a un paseo. Puede detener los autobuses de Metro en la puerta principal de la casa, para ir a Vashon, el ferry, Seattle o Tacoma. Si conduce, hay espacio para 4 autos.

    La exhibición de fuegos artificiales Vashon del cuatro de julio, que rivaliza con la de Seattle, se dispara desde una barcaza anclada en el puerto interior, directamente en frente de nuestra cubierta. Definitivamente el mejor lugar para el 4to.

    En julio y agosto, las moras gobiernan Vashon, y las más dulces y gordas provienen de esta parte de la isla, en todas partes. Las recetas de helados, conservas, pasteles y salsas están en el armario, al igual que una excelente heladería. ¡La dulce fragancia impregna la isla!

Clean home with everything you should need. The hosts were outstanding! From the very beginning, their communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful. They were genuinely invested in making sure we had a wonderful stay and were always quick to respond. We felt welcomed, relaxed, and well taken care of the entire time. We would book this home again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay. Thank you so much!

Family weekend on the island

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful home - the views from the living room, dining room spaces exceeded our expectations and the location was lovely. We hope to return!

Wonderful casual place to gather with your family

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Suzanne, our VRBO host was very responsive with any questions that we had. We all slept so well as it is very quiet and a beautiful location on quartermaster Harbor

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely time at this home. It has a great layout and spectacular views. The kitchen is well-stocked. The fireplace is very cozy and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Great for families and a convenient location. We would love to stay there again.

Exactly what we were looking for!

This was the perfect housing for my extended family, my husband and me. We were on the island for a family wedding and the location was ideal. The lovely views, spacious living area and various bedrooms were ideal for our stay. Highly recommend this property!

This place is a beautiful getaway. The large table for meals, the nice bedrooms, the hot tub and the ping pong table were fun highlights. Vashon Island is sweet and we found some good hiking and kayaking here. The large sofas may need replacing soon-but the beds were really comfy.

A Perfect Escape

The photos are great and still don't do the location justice - winding down on the porch overlooking Quartermaster Inner Harbor, grilling with friends, kids running around inside during the day - we love it, we'll be back for a 3rd time soon!

Perfect getaway

We had a 40th best friend reunion and this was the perfect spot! Suzanne was very accomodating and gracious. It couldnt have been a more perfect location!

Walking down the stepped path to this home is misleading! When you go through the door and see the views of the harbor and sound, you’re amazed at the quiet beauty. Our group of 7 adults slept well on all the comfy beds. Our host was available when we had a question and the home had everything we need including plenty of towels for the bathrooms and hot tubs which was just the right temperature to hang out and visit while enjoying the night sky.

Tranquil trip to Vashon

Suzanne’s home has a picturesque view of Quartermaster Harbor and lots of space to relax. Beds are comfy. The home is well equipped for cooking and dining in, and the town of Vashon has good restaurant options as well.

Family retreat

We had a wonderful time here. This was our second stay, which says a lot about our feelings about the house!BBQ, hot tub, tidal pools and ping pong. What's not to love I particularly appreciate a kitchen large enough for multiple people to work together. I expect we'll be back

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The spacious table near the kitchen was perfect for board games and group meals, and we ended each evening relaxing on the balcony, taking in the breathtaking views and watching local wildlife. One of the highlights was renting kayaks nearby and spending a fun afternoon exploring the harbor. The only minor issue was the uneven stairs leading down to the property, but it didn’t take away from an otherwise fantastic experience.

Best of Burton

Staying here, so close to the water, is a bit like living on a ship - the view is incredible from every room (the pictures are great and still somehow don't do it justice). If you know Burton, the location makes the coffee stand very convenient. Our kiddos loved the toy collection, the kitchen was well appointed, and we slept so well. Hope we'll be back!

Excellent stay

Wonderful place, highly recommend. Spectacular view. Host was very helpful and responsive. The one issue I will note is that the Wi-Fi was barely fast/reliable enough for video Zoom meetings, in case you are thinking about working remotely, potentially an issue (but wasn't surprised by that).

The View of the Water is Stunning!

We had a small family get together at this lovely house! We all gathered for morning coffee on the deck while seated around the fire pit, and watched the sun come up each morning. The grandkids loved the provided toys and games, but mostly enjoyed paddle boarding with their parents out in the harbor. Suzanne is a great host, and responds quickly to questions. We hope to stay here again!

Peaceful and fun

We enjoyed our time at this property. Suzanne was an excellent communicator. The island itself was the perfect mix of slow and peaceful but with enough to do for entertainment. The house is ok. A little run down but clean. The location was great. The dock and deck are unbeatable. We loved grilling, watching the sunset and the tides change. Overall we really enjoyed our stay on Vashon Island.
