  • A thoughtfully designed main-floor suite in a 1912 heritage home, blending original character with modern comfort. Exposed brick, high ceilings, and natural light create a warm, elevated space just off Commercial Drive.

    The space has been carefully curated with a balance of original features and clean, contemporary finishes throughout.

    This is a personally used home that is shared with guests periodically. When not hosting, the space is lived in and cared for, creating an environment that feels comfortable, genuine, and well maintained.

    The open living area flows into a fully equipped, commercial-style kitchen designed for everyday use. The layout is easy and functional, whether you’re relaxing, working, or preparing meals.

    The living area offers flexible seating, including a sofa that converts into a bed to accommodate additional guests. The bedroom is calm and comfortable, and the bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and double sinks.

    At the back of the home, a private patio provides a quiet outdoor retreat. A second outdoor space at the front captures more sun and reflects the energy of the neighbourhood.

    Located just off Commercial Drive, you’re steps from cafés, restaurants, shops, parks, and transit, while still enjoying a relaxed residential setting.

    The suite has a private, separate entrance, and guests can expect a high level of privacy throughout their stay.

Gorgeous home, steps from Commercial Drive

Beautiful space, the reno is incredible, all the amenities you could want, steps from Commercial Drive, lovely host, easy check in and out, excellent instructions, easy parking. The apartment was perfect for our weekend stay!

Great location for us. Apartment was perfect. There is quite the road noise when in the bedroom so that might bother some. Kitchen was well equipped. Love the gas stove. Would have preferred an electric kettle instead of always using the stove. Lovely apartment…felt very much at home. Would stay here again

Our stay was brief but it was great. Susana was easy to communicate with and the suite was clean and had lovely character with modern upgrades. Bed was comfortable and we slept great. We also really appreciated the free parking, We would definitely stay here again.

Susana is a wonderful host! We had a perfect stay at her comfortable suite. Close to the skytrain to get around Vancouver. Though the area itself is fun to explore. We walked to Trout Lake each morning and then explored 'The Drive' with all its unique shops and multitude of dining experiences. Recommend The Lunch Lady, Chancho Torilleria, and Elephant Garden Creamery. Also, see if you can find the East Van Vodville Cinema:)Will definitely recommend Susana's home to others and come back some day!

This is a very spacious apartment with an excellent, professional-grade kitchen. The host is highly responsive. The bedroom faces a busy road but the sound of passing cars did not disturb our sleep. Light sleepers might want to use earplugs.

Great stay in Vancouver

The home was cozy and clean. Close enough to downtown and North Vancouver to enjoy all the sites. The host was very communicative and kind. As shown in photos, be prepared for stairs to access the unit.

Spacious and Beautifully Decorated

We really enjoyed our stay. Our host was amazing, welcoming and generous. The unit is so spacious, each room was very comfortable, and so well decorated. One of the best furnished units we have ever been in. We loved the area as well! The street noise was a little noisy for sleeping so the white noise machine was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

All the comforts of home!

I would give this place100 stars if I could. Super comfortable bed, excellent shower, well provisioned kitchen, full-sized washer and dryer, convenient to Translink trains and buses and a supermarket. Also lots of space and tastefully decorated. AND a friendly, helpful, but not intrusive property owner on site. (Thank you Susana.) It just doesn’t get any better than this!

Vancouver stay

Great place to use as a base for activities in Vancouver. Lots of traffic was expected at the site and indeed there was traffic, but we had a close parking space that was very convenient. The power went out briefly and Susana was very attentive. JE

Clean, comfortable, close to public transport if you want it, good communication with host. Ubers not too expensive to get you to local craft breweries or food. If you like your craft the following are reasonably close by uber. Strange Fellows (great happy hour Thursdays), Superflux, 33 Acres, and Brassneck had a great Imperial stout.
