There were only two full-size bath towels in the room and the room clearly stated that it fits for 4 people which is the reason our family was booked for that purpose. Beds are very uncomfortable & noisy box springs. Won’t be back!

We stay there because it accepts animals and is convenient. The room was very clean. The bed is not what my bad back can sleep on but managed a few hours. The blanket on the bed could be newer. It was coming apart and very holy. Other than that, it's a good place to stay for overnight and if you have an animal. Staff is very nice.

Room really had a strong odor of bug spray and there a few dead bugs around. Could use some repairs. I had a late check-in and, although I had confirmed having a pet, they had no record of it and I almost didn't get a room. The front desk lady did finally let me stay the night.

When I went online to book this hotel, the pictures of the room are not what it looks like now. I book a double queens for the night after my family and I were on the road for 8 hours. Not only did the reservation not show up on their computer, it took me an extra 30 mins to check for a room that was paid for. The so called NEW updated rooms look worse and the beds are full, not queen. Beds in no way were new as my wife and I know when a new bed feels like. This to me is not exceptable as I feel I was lied to, not only that my room was right by the ice machine, hearing it constantly going all night and dumping the ice in the machine. The staff was great and I feel they didn't get a fair shot with the pictures not being accurate and truthful.

I am handicap and on oxygen 24/7 and the room given to us was on the upper floor and we had to climb stairs . I requested a change in rooms. she wouldn't do it. said the were booked but there was a grand total of three vehicles in the parking lot all night. will never stay here again!!!!!

Our door was right across from the garbage can. The pool said it was open on Expedia. But they said it had not been open for three years. The staff was rude and made us feel unwelcome. On Expedia it said kids stay free as long as we don’t ask for extra bedding. But on the door on a piece of paper it said kids of any age are considered an adult. The shower head looked as if it was going to fall off.

Read the small print Pets are not free

Booked this because it was pet friendly and had a seasonal pool. We stayed during the first week of June. Missed the small print that it was 25 bucks per pet and the pool was empty. Seasonal? June seems like the pool season. Breakfast was pretty weak. Next time I'll stay at the Red Roof. No pool, but cheaper and free pets plus a good breakfast.

Expensive but clean

I found this too expensive for what it was. It was clean and somewhat upgraded but still very basic and small. Nothing but a tiny room in the middle of nowhere. In comparison to other hotels we stayed at, this was just overpriced. The breakfast isn't worth mentioning.

Passing through

A very clean, well equipped, recently renovated hotel. The breakfast was simple, but well presented. It was a great place to stay for one night on our travels. Would definitely stay there again.

I traveled with 2 pets a 9 lbs dog and a cat, it was $25.00 per pet. The room and pet feeds were overpriced. The room was outdated and older furniture.

Nice small West Texas stop over.

A good stop over on return trip from Phoenix to Fort Worth. Very clean and affordable.

Finally!

We have had several bad experiences in Van Horn in run down, aging properties. This room was modern and clean. Finally a good experience with reasonable price. The pool was inoperable, but of no concern to us. Just looking for a good nights sleep.

Good and Not so Good

Clean, no weird smells, comfy bed. Only 2 bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels. Next day we asked for another set of towels we were told no. The man at the counter said that what we already had was enough for 2 people. On our first morning the free breakfast consisted of a waffle machine, hard boiled eggs, coffee, orange juice, toast, oatmeal and mini cinnamon rolls and mini muffins. Our 2nd and 3rd morning we were really looking forward to the waffles (great waffles) the sign on the machine said " sorry out of order". We suspected that waffle machine was out of order because it was probably an ordeal to clean it up at the end of the morning. Also not many people staying there, maybe an another couple or two. Is pretty much a ghost town there. Other than those two incidents it was okay.

Very clean all remodeled New everything including a.c. unit nice bed very comfortable walking distance to Great steakhouse
