Welcome to Vail International unit 111 one of the nicest units in the building!  This two bedroom, two bath condo has been beautifully remodeled to make your stay as comfortable as possible.  Upon entering the condo you are greeted by a beautiful kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and gorgeous granite.  Stocked with nearly every appliance you needed, this unit makes cooking dinner a breeze from prepping to clean up.  The kitchen also features a breakfast bar for additional space. With an open layout, the kitchen provides views to both the patio and the dining area which has seating for six. Off the dining area sits a private patio with seating for two, as well as a private gas grill.  This unit also features a private washer and dryer for modern convenience.

The layout of the dining area flows seamlessly into the living room.  Featuring a new leather couch and dual recliners you’re sure to have seating for the entire group.  The sofa also pulls out to a queen sized sofa sleeper for additional sleeping arrangements. The HDTV and gas fireplace will make you feel right at home.  The Colorado mountain décor perfectly complements your outdoor surroundings.

Beginning down the hall toward the bedrooms you notice the first full bathroom.  This location is ideal for both guests using the living or dining areas, as well as use for guests in the bunk room. Next we come to the second full bath which is located directly across the hall from the bunk room.

The bunk room features two full sized beds making it a great arrangement for children or adults. The two full sized beds are accompanied by a twin size trundle bed for additional room.  Matching the Colorado based décor, the bunk room boasts a full sized, rolling door to block the early morning sun.  It also features a flat screen HDTV, as well as access to a second patio which is shared with the master bedroom.

At the end of the hallway we come to the master bedroom.  Equipped with a queen sized bed, the master will make you feel right at home.  A reclining chair and HDTV provide additional seating in the master.  It also connects to the shared (with bunk room), patio which provides sounds of the Middle Creek just before flowing into Gore Creek.

Additional amenities include an outdoor hot tub and heated pool with views of Vail Mountain. Men’s and Women’s steam rooms and a small workout room on the property which includes a Peloton bike, Bodycraft Treadmill and Elliptical as well as other weights and workout equipment for guest use. There are also two gas grills available for guest use adjacent to the pool.

You will receive an invite to the guest portal at the time of booking with reservation confirmation. Access instructions are emailed seven days prior to arrival. 

All Vail properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3-4 night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with hotel quality bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances.

Very comfortable accommodations for our family of 4. Nice kitchen, it was easy to prepare the meals we brought. Very close to bus route and Lionshead gondola. Excellent communication with host, they responded quickly when we had questions but otherwise no hassle.

The Good: The price is fair. The location is fantastic. The building is lovely, with great amenities and convenient parking. The washer-dryer in the unit is very convenient. The Bad: The unit is not in great shape. The handle for the guest bath shower has no set screw and keeps coming off. The love seat recliner in the living room is completely broken and won't close (making it useless). The vertical blinds in both rooms are missing slats (which looks shabby and lets in too much light). While the main bedroom mattress is ok, the bedding and pillows are old and worn. This is a partial list. Probably the most frustrating thing about the unit is the heat. There is a thermostat that seems to control the baseboard heat in the bathrooms and bedrooms, but it doesn't seem to control the heat in the living room; that heat seems to be always on and it's extremely warm... we had to open the sliding door. The problem is the thermostat is right by the living room, so you need to crank up the temp to get any heat in the bedrooms. We couldn't figure it out. While the layout is small for a family of 4 on a ski trip, it would be more manageable if the couches and dining room table weren't far too large for the space. And TBH, most of these issues could be fixed with a small investment and really make the place very nice. But as it is, there isn't really enough room for a family of 4 and ski gear, and its condition really doesn't live up to the standard of what you'd expect in Vail Village.

The unit has a remodeled kitchen and bathrooms yes, unfortunately most everything else in there is dated and in disrepair. It felt, and was, dirty. The MB toilet didn’t flush the whole weekend even though maintenance came and said they’d fixed it. We had to take the take lid off to flush it. The utensils and cookware are worn and warped and piled haphazardly in the cabinets so finding what you needed and getting them out was a pain. You have to move the trash can in kitchen to open the frig, The balconies were covered in pollen, dirt and cobwebs… which we had to clean to use. They even had planters on the railing that only had dirt in them. Missing screen slider in GB and vertical slats fell off when you tried to open the blinds. The other screen sliders were bent and very hard to open, paint is chipped in every room… dark unit and close to highway noise. You could hear the creek and we used the washer dryer to wash towels, which was handy. We have stayed in and seen much nicer units in this property. Proximity is great to both Lionshead and the village which is good. Not worth the price we paid. Management has yet to reply to the email I sent on 7/3 documenting damages and condition on our arrival. Hopefully the owners see this…

Stayed here with some friends for a wedding in Vail. The unit is very clean, with nice amenities and some cozy balconies. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Management were extremely responsive and helpful with our questions. Only comment would be not to rely on the pull out under the bunk beds as being comfortable for adults. But I don't think that's who it was intended for anyway!

The location is great, highly walkable and convenient to transit however the walls are very thin and you hear everything from other units, we couldn’t figure out how to regulate the heat so it was either cold or hot in certain rooms, very drafty and many of the window blinds were falling apart and the beds were terribly uncomfortable, all of them.
