LIONSHEAD - Walk to Gondola

Beautiful 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo in Vantage Point building in Lionshead Village. The condo comfortably sleeps 2 adults but can accommodate up to 2 children as well and is located on the first floor. The condo is 506 square feet so keep this in mind if booking more than 2 guests. The bedroom boasts a King size bed and flat screen TV. The living room has a pull out sleeper sofa which is a queen, a large flat screen TV with loads of channels plus HBO and a gas fireplace.

Newly remodeled bathroom with walk in shower only (no tub). Separate vanity and "getting ready" area to ease bathroom traffic.

The kitchen is fully equipped (blender, toaster, coffee maker for drip and pod, coffee grinder, microwave, cooking utensils, glassware, silverware, dishwasher, refrigerator, electric oven with stovetop. Small dining table that seats two. The cookware and basic baking pans are also provided.

All in One Ventless washer dryer. Perfect for small loads of laundry. On site coin and credit card operated laundry for larger loads.

High speed Wi-Fi is also included so you can easily stay connected with the office, family, and friends.

The Eagle Bahn Gondola, Born Free Express Lift, and Ski School are all just a 3 minute walk away. The general store, liquor store, restaurants, pubs, ski/snowboard shops, ice rink, free in-town shuttle, and lifts are just steps away.

Being in the heart of the newly renovated Lionshead Village is awesome. Just steps to everything Vail has to offer makes this the perfect place to be. No need for a car! But there is complimentary parking for one vehicle during your stay in the easily accessible building garage. I also provide access to the garage level ski locker so that you don't have to haul equipment up the elevator.

I was given the wrong address that actually didn't actually exist which I did not discover until my taxi was unable to locate it. I had to go through the vrbo app to contact the host which took a bit of time. When the local property manager called me, he gave me the correct address and paid for an uber to take me to. that address. This turned out not to be the unit I had expected when I booked the property. This in spite of having asked the host specifically if I would be staying in the unit as pictured on the verb site and assured it would be. I reached out to the property manager again who, after some time, offered to move me and my traveling companion into the expected unit the following day. We spent our first night in NYC in a unit which had not been cleaned well. My friend's pillow case had several spots of blood on it and there was a used bandaid on the floor in my bedroom. We moved to the next unit the following day (this was the unit pictured on the verb site). We had to wait until noon to move to allow the unit to be cleaned. This was a huge inconvenience as we had only 2 days to spend in NYC and this hampered our ability to see all we had hoped to see. The 2nd unit was much more comfortable in terms of layout and location. However, my friend discovered a pair of womens tights in her bed linens and the bath mat was filthy, this in spite of the cleaning crew having been there earlier in the morning we moved in. Would definitely NOT recommend this site for your stay

Stayed in this wonderful one bedroom unit for a ski week mid March. Property as described and owner very accommodating to our requests.Hot tubs close to our unit and less than 10 minute walk to Lionshead gondola.Would definitely rent this unit again!!

Great stay!

The unit is wonderful! Awesome bed, so comfortable. A quick walk to Lionshead...so easy!. The unit is also just 30 yards from sticking yourself in the hot tub. Unit is very well equipped in the kitchen, has 2 TV's and overall a great place. Would come back in a heartbeat.

A Great Ski Trip Place to Stay

We rented this condo for a 4 night ski trip and it was a perfect place to use as our home base. We had one adult and two teens. The place is perfect for 2-4 people. There is a large bed and a pull out couch. It is cozy but just enough space so you don't feel cramped.The location is super convenient - you can walk to slopes, shops, restaurants, bars, market, and the village bus stop. We loved that our rental included a parking pass, and a locker for our skis. The first floor location and elevator are a huge plus as it can get tiring going up and down stairs at high altitude. There is a hot tub nearby too though we didn't use it, it is super convenient. Host was very communicative and helpful. Made renting the condo a breeze. Check in and check out was super easy, and I do love the convenience of keyless entry and exit.The fireplace was really nice for warming up in the morning and at the end of a long day of skiing. The kitchenette was great too, and includes a fridge.The condo was as described I wouldn't chge anything, nothing needs to be changed. It'ssdf perfect for what it is. I would recommend it for your group of 2-4 skiers or vacationers (in the summer).

Great stay! The condo was very clean with all that was expected. Leah was quick to respond. Wonderful place to get away with my daughters and have a comfortable home base throughout the weekend. The parking garage was easy to get in & out as needed. The free shuttle was very close & convenient to go to Vail Village. Definitely would come back. Thank you.

This place was great for our small family. So close to Lionshead!! Short walk to lift and gondola. There was a miscommunication with the cleaners and we arrived to a condo that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests but Leah was reachable even late at night and very responsive. The place was cleaned the very next morning and we were compensated. No complaints and would stay here again.

Great Location

A short walk to the gondola, market, and ski rental made the location of this condo ideal for our weeklong ski trip. While bus service is easily accessible, we preferred strolling along the path connecting Lionheads to Vail Village. Though the square footage is small, it had everything that we needed and clean. In particular, the number of outlets was impressive. We encountered a slight problem (gate to hot tubs locked), Leah, the condo owner, immediately replied that this was a new policy and shared the code. She was also very accommodating when we requested a place to store our luggage as our flight arrived prior to check-in. By chance, we met the Vantage Point property manager on the day of arrival. He noticed our look of confusion as my husband and I debated which set of elevators to take, and he pointed us in the right direction. He also gave us his card and encouraged us to contact him should we have any additional questions.

Return to Vail 2024

We stayed at this property for a week. We appreciated the underground parking and the proximity to the Lionshead lifts. We found our host, Leah, a pleasure to work with. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to someone who is looking to spend some time in the mountains!

Great Location

The location of this unit is perfect for skiers and non-skiers! It’s maybe 5 mins to the Eagle Bahn gondola. The local bus route is basically right outside the parking lot as well. While we fit 2 adults and 2 kids in for a week, I think this would be ideal for just 2 adults. The unit has everything you need. If you’re a coffee drinker, you’ll need the cone filters. Comms with the property owner were fast and easy. I’d stay here again.

Great location and the condo was accurately represented. The bed was very large and comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small but not an issue and bath towels were actually absorbent and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again.
