Located in the Gobi desert this is Mongolia's highest sand dune standing at 800m tall, as well as being a fairly impressive 20km wide and 100km long. After a long and hot climb in the desert sun (it turns out Mongolia isn't all cold like you might imagine!) you reach the top and spectacular views such as this. Then comes the fun part - running back down!
