"Just needed somewhere quiet to stay for myself and my partner who needed rest and recuperation, also had builders in our house, so this being a very reasonable price and not too far to travel seemed ideal....and it was. All clean, peaceful and nice. Read some reviews prior to booking and now I've been there I just think that some people leave bad reviews or complain for the sake of it or because they think they'll get something from it. It is what it advertises, it's nice, comfortable and clean....

"Drink options great. Very clean room. Fixtures are worn and dated, but very clean. Room was very spacious and had every thing you need ie tea, coffee, biscuits, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries. "What a lovely place to stay. Very nice garden and people. Very pretty part of town. Room was small but delightfully decorated and lovely view of garden. Had a bit of trouble working out the shower temp but eventually got it right! "

"Air con was the main reason for booking, and I can confirm it's proper wall mounted air con which works great. Bed was comfy. We received an upgrade to a luxury double which was a lovely room. Blackout curtains, and the room was quiet despite taxis being outside. We ate out locally as they do not provide food. We had Wetherspoons and the Tesco cafe for breakfast, and tried Burger Boyz for dinner one evening, excellent burgers! Hotel is central to everything and made a nice change from a Premier...
