We are family owned cabins nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. our cabins are less than one hour driving distance from attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Crabtree Falls, Montebello Fish Hatchery, Oak Ridge Estate (Infinity Downs/Lockn'), Wintergreen Ski Resort, Rockfish Valley Restaurants, Wineries and Breweries, Walton's Mountain Museum, and the Appalachian Trail. We are also within an hours time of Lexington, Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Staunton, and Waynesboro, Virginia. All cabins are modernly equipped and ready for your stay. The cabin sleeps up to 4 people, but perfectly suited for a romantic couples stay.
Bedrooms: 1 Queen Bed in main bedroom, and 1 Full Futon in living room.1 full bed on lower level. There are spiral stairs to lower level also there is a outside entrance if one would prefer.

My sister, husband, and I love Deer Run! It is so peaceful and comfortable . Fall is the perfect time to get away to the Crabtree area. The leaves were gorgeous and we enjoyed nightly outdoor fires with our friends at Hawks View.We will definitely be back!

Excellent Place to Get Away

Deer Run was the perfect cabin for the three of us to wind down and relax. The kitchen was well-equipped, it was extremely clean, and above all, it was so comfortable. We were happy to shut down the cell phones. The sound of the stream was soothing, so we spent many hours on the deck. A return visit is being planned. Perfect Mountain Getaway

We came to hike Crabtree Falls and this location was just minutes away. Even better was the creek right behind the house. There is nothing better than listening to the sounds of a babbling brook. I like that they had several other rentals that you could accommodate a group without staying in the same house. Note to future renters, there is no stores or restaurants with in 30 min. And the house has wi-fi but there is no cell signal on the mountain

Delightful as always

We have had friends stay at this place multiple times, and it always provides a wonderful experience. From the outdoor deck overlooking the stream to the walk down to the river to the quiet contemplation inside the house. The hosts are wonderful and responsive. We will be back.

Can't wait to go back

I had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean, all amenities worked as expected. The property is well kept. Great recliner to Strech out on, the bed was so comfortable I slept 10 hours first night. The sound of the river when sitting on the deck was so southing and relaxing. Great for morning coffee. The trail down to the river is a nice stroll not much without having to drive anywhere. Plenty in the area to do Crabtree Falls, Blue Ridge parkway, vineyards, etc.

A nice escape

Sometimes you just want to get away from the city, even if it’s just for a couple of days. This is the perfect set up for just that. We were able to relax and enjoy the sounds of the water and nature while still having everything we needed to cook and to take a hot shower after a day of hiking nearby trails. The property is just as pictured and actually had more space than I had thought it would. Received a call from the owner asking if I needed anything and to enjoy my stay. I would recommend this spot for anyone that just wants a nice, peaceful escape and to be with nature.
