There are many ways to unwind at the end of the day - soak in the hot-tub under the stars or play yard games in the shaded yard. Or step inside and sink into one of the cozy seating areas that are perfect for playing a favorite board game from our collection or curling up for a movie night with the projector showing your favorite movie on the big screen.

Loved this home- we enjoyed walking to a local coffee shop! We loved the hot tub and the games. Kitchen was great for cooking!

Well decorated cottage with great backyard for dogs. We stayed here for a horse show and the kitchen was appointed. Host was communicative and helpful.

This place was perfect! Thank you for sharing your home. Five of us stayed 4 days and had a perfect amount of space. Beds and pillows are comfortable. My daughters enjoyed the wall games. The patio is simple but so humbling, definitely enjoyed the hot tub. There is a coffee bar which we loved having since we’re big coffee drinkers. Drive way is narrow but we did have our dually truck so a regular car fits perfectly. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this vintage retreat while attending a wedding in Tyler. So much character and the personal touches planned by the host were definitely a plus. The home is spacious, well-lit, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic necessities and appliances. We especially liked the coffee and espresso machines. The bathrooms are updated and stylish. High quality linens and extra toiletries were much appreciated. The host made sure the hot tub was ready for use as soon as we arrived and it was an awesome way to kick off the weekend. We used the outdoor area mainly for relaxing but best of all it was a perfect space for our puppy. Communication was on point and the check in/check out was a breeze. Finally, the location was very close to all of our activities, shopping and eating out. Estate sales, antique malls, outdoor markets, and delicious bbq are just a few more great reasons to come and stay at this amazing property!

Historic Property with Modern Amenities

Before even arriving I knew the stay was going to be a good one. I’ve stayed at countless places in the Tyler area over the past year, so I’ve developed a good feel for this. The communication with the owner was and is exceptional and clear. I arrived and the house was spotless and everything was thought out from what is stocked up in the kitchen to the towels to the suitcase stand to all the little extra details other hosts don’t include. The place feels like it was given love and thought which really helps make a stay so much better, without it a house can feel like an empty lifeless money grab, you won’t feel that from this property. I recommend anyone considering this property, don’t think more about it, just book it.
