Dolphin Watch 6 is a second floor, corner oceanfront condo with panoramic views of the beach, ocean, and the Tybee Pier. Situated on the south end of Tybee Island, just steps to the beach, enjoy pristine views of Tybee's main beach and be within walking distance to many island restaurants, shops, and the Tybee Pier and Pavilion. Watch the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean from your private balcony! This is a prime spot to be in during holidays and events that take place at the Pier. The living area for the condo features an incredible view of the ocean through the sliding doors. Watch the sunrise and enjoy the view from the comfort of the living area that has a sleeper sofa and a large wall-mounted TV. Take in the view from wherever you are in the open floor plan with a dining table for 6, a fully equipped kitchen with additional seating for 4 at the bar. Located just off the hall is a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a King size bed and a flat-screen TV and has access to the balcony. You can even catch that amazing view from bed! The attached master bathroom has dual vanity sinks, a large walk-in closet, and a walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms are located off the entry hall and share the 2nd full bath which has a tub/shower combo. The first guest bedroom is furnished with a King Size bed and a flat-screen TV. The second guest bedroom is furnished with a twin bed with a trundle, to sleep up to 2 guests. This luxury condo is the perfect setting from which to enjoy a Tybee Island vacation. Handicap friendly (elevator, not ADA compliant). 2 covered, reserved parking spaces in the garage for regular size vehicles. Note: This condo building is located just across the street from the public beach parking lot. Our keypad entry code expired 5 days before we checkout. The after hours service was absolutely horrible and finally someone was able to come out and let us inAt the beginning of our stay, we reported the second bathroom toilet was hard to flush and that the filter in the refrigerator needed to be replaced. Nothing was done with both of these issues. The individuals that work in the office did not know what was happening and were not helpful. The kitchen was very well stocked. Linens were in poor shape.

Unit was nice and clean and the view was excellent. It is very much what is advertised. The only reason I only have three stars is the sheer lack of amenities in the unit. You can tell that this is a corporate run guest mill with absolutely no personal touches or extras for guests. This is a beach condo but there are no beach towels, chairs, cooler, etc. for guests to actually use the beach. Upon calling the manager’s office I was basically told to go buy towels if I wanted them. We just took 3 bath towels to the beach. Overall it is a fine spot to stay, just bring all your beach stuff with you if you want to actually be able to spend a day on the beach.

Dolphin Watch 6

The condo is in the perfect location for accessing the beach and amenities. Traffic can be heavy during holidays, but the location is perfectly situated to access side streets when the main highway on/off Tybee becomes crowded. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely look at returning to this property in the future.

Beautiful condo. Location was perfect. Unfortunately the AC was not working and the rental company was not able to fix it. It was over 80 degrees inside and we were unable to sleep. They promised a full refund (we left after less than 24 hours) but we have only been refunded for one night. Disappointed in the customer service.

Great condo

This condo was beautifully renovated and very clean. We loved sitting on the porch for coffee and my husband loved his morning run on the beach. This is a bustling part of the island for beach time, but we always had plenty of space. We loved being able to walk to so many restaurants and shops in the evening. It was our first visit to Tybee and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, the AC worked great for us. I did see a review that brought it up, but no issues for us.

The condo is conveniently located. We walked to the beach, most stores and restaurants while we stayed. The views are amazing. Condo is very well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back soon.

Nice Unit, No Air Conditioning

My family and I have been loyal visitors to Tybee for many years, often visiting twice annually. This visit did not meet the high standards we have come to expect based on our previous stays. There were several issues during our stay that significantly impacted our comfort and satisfaction. Firstly, the portable AC unit, which was intended to cool the entire unit, was inadequately installed. The exhaust was secured with duct tape that had become disconnected, allowing hot air to fill the room. Although I managed to reapply the duct tape to ensure the exhaust was directed outside, the setup with a cardboard filler through a mostly closed door seemed unprofessional and insufficient for the task. Additionally, the first bedroom on the right was equipped with a Roku Ultra but lacked a remote, rendering the TV unusable. This was particularly disappointing as only one light bulb in that bedroom was functional, limiting our use and enjoyment of the space. In the living room, we found that the TV was not logged into the cable provider, which restricted our access to most channels and content. This was a significant inconvenience for us, especially during our downtime in the evenings. Furthermore, the hammocks on the patio, we were looking forward to using, were in poor condition. One was completely ripped and unusable, which was disheartening as it detracted from the outdoor space which is one of the highlights of staying in your unit.

Really enjoyed our stay

We loved the location. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the waves and pelicans diving for their meals. Everything was comfortable. The only comment we would make for improvement is your master bath should have a covering for your window in the shower area. We felt that anyone in the third story condo across the way could easily look in and see anyone getting in or out of the shower at night. We used towels to cover the window.

Group of 3 friends celebrating a 40th Birthday. The balcony with chairs was the highlight of our weekend. We spent the majority of our time sitting outside looking at the ocean. Will definitely be coming back

Perfect location with pleasant view!

The location was great! Next to the beach with a view of the ocean. Also within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The property was very nice and clean with only a few areas Id like to addess. These did not have a significant negative impact though. 1. A light was out in the exterior stairwell which gave my wife the creeps as she waited for the elevator at night. (Not owners fault) 2. Though the elevator was inspected this month, it was a rough ride. Heard others talking about it before we had the chance to experience it for ourselves. (Also not owners fault) 3. All bedroom and living room lights required a remote to cut the lights/fan on or off. Which is no big deal if the remotes have good batteries and you dont misplace them. Just can be an inconvenience if either one of those arent true. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to anyone.

Best location on Tybee

Definitely the best place we have rented. The view off the balcony is great incredible. Location was 1-2 blocks from prime downtown. Hvac worked good, kitchen was completely stocked with utensils and cookware. Bed comfy. We will try to rent this place again, highly recommend

Wonderful clean and comfy

We had a really fun stay at #6! The property Wes beautiful, super clean and comfortable. There was a fun welcome package when we arrived. The deck facing the ocean is lovely. The furniture and beds were super comfortable. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We’ll be back!

Can’t beat that ocean view!

Comfortable couches and beds. Drip and Keurig coffeemaker. Maintenance issues resolved quickly. It was very difficult to park a minivan in the designated spots under the condo, they are very narrow. Parking in the lot across the street is 7 dollars for 2 hours. We saw so many dolphins during our stay, very cool. There are TVs in every room but no games for the kids on a rainy day. No sand toys or chairs provided either. Beach towels also not provided but plenty of all the other linens. Bring soap, shampoo, etc. We had a great stay and will definitely be back, just highlighting things to bring for future renters. You can walk to just about everywhere - many bars and restaurants within 5 minutes. Thanks for a great stay.
