Lazy Dayz | Pet Friendly, Great for Large Groups!

Lazy Dayz is a large, 5 bedroom and 4 and a half bath home located in the heart of Tybee - on Butler Avenue - only one block from the beach! Convenient to everything, this beautifully maintained home is perfect for large families, or multi-family groups, as there are several gathering spots to relax in the home. There is ample parking, in dual garages, and on the driveway parking pad. The spacious guest spaces include an open floor plan on the 2nd floor main living level, and an additional entertainment area for relaxing and entertaining guests on the ground level. This beautiful home features 4 Balconies on the two upper levels.

The ground level of this home features two garages and a large foyer and den with access to a privacy fenced yard and patio with a gas grill. The large den has ample seating and a TV for viewing the game or movie night with the kids. Enjoy games and activities including a ping-pong table. The second floor of the home is the main living level. This floor features a large open floor plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The kitchen has bar seating for three, and the dining table has ample room to seat eight comfortably. The huge, fully equipped galley kitchen has stainless steel appliances and features dual sinks and dual dishwashers - for easy cleanup. Guests will enjoy relaxing in the living room, which opens to a balcony facing the backyard. There is a large flat-screen TV in the living room.

Located on the main living level is primary Bedroom 1, with a King bed, TV, private bath, and huge walk-in closet. The remaining bedrooms are located upstairs. The third floor has a study in the hallway loft plus three additional bedrooms. Bedroom 2 on this level, has a King bed, TV, and an attached private full bathroom. Bedroom 3 has a King Bed, Smart TV, and a private bath. Bedrooms 4 and 5, are both furnished with 2 Queen Beds and have Smart TVs. These bedrooms share a hall bathroom with a tub and shower combination. There are Four total balconies at this home from which to enjoy the coastal breezes and fresh Tybee air! There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Lazy Dayz is a great place to spread out with the family and relax near the beach!

WIFI is available for guest use. This home is just a short block away from the nearest beach access. Guests will enjoy being just a quick walk to Memorial Park, the Tybee Island Library, Tybee YMCA, restaurants, shopping, and more.

House was perfect for our family. Lawn was overgrown when we checked in. Floors were dirty. Fan vent in Jack & Jill bathroom was hanging from ceiling. Wasp on second and third floor decks. Maintenance responded when called about the wasp and uncut lawn.

Great Location, Inexcusable Customer Service

Great Location. Spacious rooms. AC worked very. BBQ is present, but the metal grill surface was delaminating chunks of metal when brushed with provided cleaning tool. Unusable.Larger beds were uneven and separated a bit overnight. Towels weren't the greatest quality.Hand soap in all bathrooms was a small hard bar (hotel soap). Toilet paper was single ply.Most egregious issue was the Host's response to a simple request for additional bags. I was staying with a larger group (6 adults, 5 kids) for 5 days. I was required to register each guest with Tybee Vacation Rentals, which I did. This rental entity conducted all business through their website/system and only used VRBO to source me as a guest. Part of the check out checklist is to take out all trash. The rental had only a few replacement trash bags to spread across the nearly dozen trash receptacles in the rental. We obviously ran out (large group), and I requested more. I was told [paraphrasing] "Sorry for the inconvenience, but that's all the rental comes with. Provide your own". I replied to that message asking for confirmation of their denial of such a simple request. My reply was ignored.I don't write reviews. But this experience was Inexcusable to me. To not provide the means to perform their requested checklist items, a very simple request (or point me in the right direction?) when I paid 5,600... shocking. Subpar service shouldn't get a pass in this economy. Disappointing.

Our second stay at Lazy Dayz

This was our 2nd stay at Lazy Dayz. We knew we'd be back after the first! Tons of room for 2 families with kids, great location, well stocked and very clean. We appreciate that it's pet friendly too so we didn't have to board our dog. This place is hard to beat!

Perfect house with easy walkable access to the beach and a short drive to Savannah

We had a great stay here. Beautiful, clean home. Plenty of toys and games to keep kids entertained while at the house. A short walk away to the beach. Parking was easy. Bedrooms were good size. Great size house for a large family vacation. We had a great time here and would stay again.

Great house, great location!

We had a great stay! Easy access to the beach and very comfortable accommodations! Note that the main road can be a bit busy on the weekends, especially when crossing with little ones. There is a crossing (with flashing lights) right by the house so that made it much easier. Would stay again, would recommend!

Loved everything about this house!

We loved everything about this house. The house is gorgeous and exactly as pictured. We had plenty of space for all of us. It was fully stocked with utensils and appliances. We didn’t have need for anything other than food. The house is located across from the beach and just a short walk from the restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

Great large house that we loved!

Property is very spacious! Beautiful porches and bathrooms connected to the bedrooms. Two dishwashers and convenient laundry room. We did have a problem with the breaker kicking every night with the 3rd floor air conditioner and had to reset every time. Need to wear shoes in house because the floors are dirty. Also, the shower outside for rinsing sand off had red ants covering the ground and will bite you if not careful. With all that said, we loved the trip and would stay here again!

Spring Break 21

Great house! It was perfect for our group. You could not beat the location, close to the beach and activities. We would stay here again! Only one minor issue, kitchen was missing some essentials. We had to buy our own can opener and spatula and could have used a bigger frying pan for our big crowd,, but this did not ruin or Change what an awesome house it was. We love Tybee Island!

We shared with another family. Loved the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and spacious kitchen. Comfortable beds. Kitchen could have been better equipped. Walking distance to just about everything.

Getting Away for a few days

Our group consists of 5 senior couples. We had a great time, and enjoyed getting away from our retirement community for a few days. The house is very large with lots of outdoor space. But, there are a number of items that can be improved on. This would be a great house for younger families.

Perfect home for large groups!

We loved everything about this home and location! The only minus was the cleanliness of the floors (our feet were black after walking around barefoot everyday) but otherwise the home was clean the hosts were great. This was perfect for a house full of 15 women and we loved the main kitchen/living area for hanging out! Keep in mind that the neighbors do not like noise outside even before the 10pm curfew (they called for noise at 9pm), however, once all doors are closed you’re totally fine!

We absolutely loved Lazy Dayz. It was the perfect size home for 2 families of 4. We had plenty of room and the house was well equipped with all the essentials. The management company was welcoming, extremely responsive and the check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. We will be back!

Beautiful house on Butler

This is a great house for a large family. There is plenty of space so that you are not on top of each other. I was very disappointed in the amount of kitchen supplies and start up supplies. There was not even a broom in the house for us to use. Overall cleanliness of the house was poor. Our family rents a beach house every year at Tybee and this was the first time we have encountered such poor housekeeping and kitchen supplies.

All the Comfort we Needed!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was tastefully decorated & provided ample space for our family to spread out. My daughter’s doggie enjoyed the fenced in backyard. We were there for a long weekend for our daughter’s National Volleyball tournament at the Savannah Convention Center. We had nearby family members from Statesboro to drive up one of the days to support her. We enjoyed cooking in the oversized kitchen that provided everything we needed including a large lobster pot. The grille on one of the decks was also a huge plus! The weather was not so ideal, but because the beach was a 5 min walk away, we took a stroll over at least check it out. We were a little skeptical about hanging around after seeing posted signs that said “WARNING! Venomous Snakes Nesting Area.” Not big fans of snakes... So, we back to the house to enjoy “all the comfort we needed!”

Lazy Dayz was filthy

Communication with the rental agency was excellent. This was a working vacation. Upon arrival the frig smelled like a dead animal. It looked like the power went off and the ice melted into the bottom of the freezer (1 inch thick sheet of ice in bottom of freezer). In addition the floors on the main floor were filthy. My white socks were black on the bottom. Then to make matters worse the mattress on one of the beds was broken. It looked like a crescent moon. Because this was a working vacation we returned to the property late each evening. We wanted to relax and grill steaks but the grill was rusted out and only one burner worked. I called prior to checkout to let them know my concerns. I asked for a discount but was denied. I was told I could get a discount on my next stay. Well I will it be back! This property needs lots of maintenance attention!
