Marshview Hideaway | Pet Friendly, Marsh Views!

Marshview Hideaway is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home that has an open kitchen, dining and living floor plan. This home is situated on a secluded road and sits on a lovely marsh that has no houses on the other shore. Guests will enjoy views of egrets, marsh grass, and tall trees; it will be easy to forget that anyone else lives on Tybee. The house sits close to Tybee’s arts district with its boutiques, galleries, and dining. Two family restaurants – Huc-a-Poo’s and Gerald’s BBQ - are just a short walk away, as is the new Tybee Wedding Chapel. On foot, it is about 10 minutes to walk to the North beach, by car or bike it is almost nothing.

The living area has a decorative fireplace along with a large flat-screen TV which is mounted above the fireplace and newly updated furniture. It features a fully equipped large modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Upstairs, the primary bedroom features a King size bed with a beautiful four-post bed, a sitting area with a twin sleeper sofa, an attached primary bath, and a large screen mounted TV. The primary bedroom has French Doors that lead to a private balcony with peaceful Marsh views.

The second guest bedroom is furnished with a Queen bed, and the third bedroom has two double beds. The bedrooms are adjoined by a Jack-N-Jill bathroom. For additional sleeping, there is also a sleeper sofa in the living area.

At this home, you can sit on the screened-in porch, enjoy the beautiful marsh views from the top floors private porch, enjoy relaxing and dining on the main floor screened in deck or enjoy the fire pit on the ground floor patio. This home a lot of extra amenities including a beautiful marshland view, WIFI, fire pit, gas grill, hot/cold outdoor shower and more! Off-street parking for 2. This home is pet-friendly.

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay, and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.

PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches.

EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. Please review your rental agreement for a full list of terms and policies.

Family Vacay at Marshview

Really cute place. I liked the location. The bedrooms are great, bathrooms too. Only issue, was the roaches in the kitchen. It was hard to cook because you had to leave everything super clean, just to keep them out of everything. The roaches would come out at night, again mostly in kitchen. One time there was a huge one in our bedroom. Maybe the march, maybe the rain, but way too many to enjoy cooking at home, so we did mostly restaurants. We left.a day early too.

The house was fine, clean and in good condition. It was a bit of a challenge communicating with the property manager, as they would send text messages that I could not respond to. So I had to communicate via the VRBO app, which is fine, but a bit slow. I would prefer that if a property manager is going to text me that it be from a live number that can receive responses.Fortunately, we did not need a lot of communication as everything in the house worked well, save for the supports under the bed in one of the rooms, which collapse once anyone climbed onto the bed.

Our Sister's getaway was a great experience. We enjoyed the spacious house, clean and roomy with all the amenties . We loved the pool. What you see on the pictures are even better in person. Thank you to the next door neibors (The Davis)who made us feel welcome at our home away from home

Graduation Family Celebration

Beautiful & spacious screened porch for morning coffee, enjoying meals and evening refreshments! Didn’t get to use fire pit but looked like a great option for outdoor time. Beach was a walk so we drove 5 mins to a great location and spent the day with the fam. Graduation ceremony was downtown Savannah which only took about 25 mins to drive to. House was nicely decorated and had plenty of room for a large group.

Birthday Chill & Relax

The house was clean, and inviting. We totally took advantage of and enjoyed the out door spaces especially the screened in porch and fire pit. We enjoyed our coffee and breakfast out there every day while there. The house is a few minutes from the beach and there are cute little shops within walking distance of the house. Also downtown Savanah is only 15 or so minutes away, however you'll totally feel at home and enjoy just staying on the island if you choose. It is an awesome house and location. I totally enjoyed my December birthday and chill stay.

Nice creek side stay

We enjoyed our stay. One burner was out on the stove, but we made it through. I have to say that if you’re getting paid this much, you could swing for Presto paper towels and toilet tissue.

First trip post COVID outbreak

The Savannah area has always been on our wish list of trips. We really enjoyed both Savannah and Tybee Island, The home was very well taken care of, decorated and the furnishings were very comfortable. everything was spotless and the back porch was used extensively for reading and resting. We were disappointed with the distance to walk to the beach and we only walked the beach once. The beach was also a "hard pan" beach, not fluffy white sand. The main reason we chose the house was location to the beach.

Tybee was a slice of heaven

Even with the pandemic limits/restrictions, the family trip to Tybee was one of the best vacations ever. The house and location were great and the Management company was TOP notch. We've done the Outer Banks for over a decade and the Management was night and day better than all the ones from OBX -- kind, helpful, interested. The house even came with staples and supplies you never see in a beach rental. We can't wait for our next trip back to GA.

Couldn't have been better!

Everything about this property was wonderful. The house is very well designed, decorated, and appointed with detailed touches like hooks by the door, extra towels in every room, and neatly organized kitchen cabinets. Clean beyond belief! Perfect layout for me and my spouse (we took the master suite), and my brother and his family with two teenage girls (they took the other two bedrooms with jack-and-jill bath). We all especially enjoyed the screened in porch. The beach was in walking distance and so were some cool and unique island shops. We also appreciated the private and quiet neighborhood. We would rent this property again in a heartbeat!

Family Getaway

Our daughter, her husband and dogs and our daughter from Wisconsin met us at the house in Tybee Island to celebrate one daughters birthday. We drove up from Florida. It is difficult to find a place that will accept more then one dog. Luckily we found this one. Yes it is a little bit of a drive in to downtown Savannah but we were all able to be together and that made it worth it. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was very clean. There was paper towels and toilet paper and small hotel size toiletries. Would be a wonderful beach getaway.

AMAZING!

This property was absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful and was the perfect getaway for our annual girls' weekend. the house had everything you could possibly need and the location was perfect. We loved it and will be back.
