    Ty Mabon (‘Mabon's House') is a delightful first-floor apartment set within the charming Llys Llewelyn complex of traditional stone cottages, built on the historical grounds of Prince Llywelyn's court. This spacious one-bedroom apartment perfectly blends period charm with modern amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay.



    Accessed via exterior stone steps, the apartment opens into a welcoming hallway leading to an open-plan living area. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa, armchair, and flat-screen TV. There is also a small dining table and a fully equipped kitchenette. The bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. Double-aspect windows and skylights throughout the apartment fill the space with natural light.



    Guests of Ty Mabon can enjoy various onsite amenities, including laundry facilities, ample parking space, a unisex hair and beauty salon, and a popular bar and kitchen serving afternoon tea, traditional home-cooked dishes, and a selection of cakes and scones. (The bar and kitchen are closed in off-peak season and open Wednesday to Sunday during peak season). The complex also features a communal EV charger with dual charging points. To use the Pod Point, please download the app beforehand.

New Year break

We have stayed at this property 3 times now and it suits us very well. Perfect location for us and our 2 dogs being so close to such a beautiful beach. The flat is perfectly adequate, very clean, and Anglesey Holiday Lettings have always provided excellent customer care.

Lovely little flat, perfect for exploring Anglesey. The Apartment was clean and tidy, everything you need. The local pub down the road is great and very welcoming.

Weekend break

A lovely little property which is dog friendly. Nice little extras left as a welcome pack and a thoughtful spare dog towel which was needed. Only problem we had was accessing the key safe, after knocking at another holiday customer, we managed to get access. Bit fiddly but once inside we were surprised how lovely it was. Bed very comfy

Great apartment for a couple.

Small but perfectly formed. Apartment is great for a couple. Everything you need. Glad to see The Crown is open in Aberffraw if only for drinks and we were made very welcome. Café next door was open as well and food excellent. Weather was mixed but still places to see around Aberffraw.

Perfect space for a couple

This is my second time staying at Ty Mabon, the space was perfect for us as a couple and our dog. The welcome pack provided was useful, the space was clean and well presented. It was great to see coat hooks added since our last stay, much needed with the Welsh weather! Amble parking space. Never been let down by AHL!

Great weekend

It’s all about the location . We have stayed on the complex 6/7 times now and love the area. The beach here is one of the best on the island . 2 minutes walk , so no need to move your car. A lamp would be nice in the room and not sure why the welcome pack included dish washer tablets when there isn’t one! More washing up liquid would have been useful …

Lovely little property, well equipped. Easy access to the beach and an ideal place to stay to use as a base to explore Anglesey and North Wales.Used as a base whilst attending a race meeting at Trac Mon.Will definitely book again.

Better than we could have hoped for.

This was so reasonably priced and perfect for us. We stayed with our two dogs and found it so comfortable. We were a short walk to the most amazing beach and really enjoyed the village. Great facilities at the holiday flat and a lovely cafe downstairs for when we felt lazy. We wouldn’t think twice about staying again if we came to Anglesey.

I had a fantastic time here, plenty of walks, Anglesey Coastal path outside the door! South stack lighthouse and Yns Llanddwyn are a must see. The accommodation is warm and comfortable, with plenty of hot water. Plenty of parking space, and the pub just 2 minutes down the road, which serves good food, and local beers.

Welcome break

This was our 3rd stay at Ty Mabon. It has everything we need. Very comfortable. Great location. Aberffraw is a lovely, peaceful village. Fabulous walks on the coastal path nearby. The beach is amazing. Couldn’t fault it at all.

Great stay

Had a wonderful week. It seemed far more spacious than in the photos. The shower room is good-I'd worried as there were no photos but shelves to put kit on, really large shower, not slippery and good power.Would happily stay there again but next time would take ear plugs. Wonderfully quiet location in November but rain on the roof Velux window at night would wake me.Minor problem, everything else great.

Smart apartment for two people. Comfortable and clean. In our opinion it lacks a dishwasher. The location is great for coastal walks and scenery. Pub only 5 minutes walk, with the bonus of a local well stocked shop.

Lovely stay

Arrived to a clean and warm flat. Welcome pack nice to have, thanks for the goodies. (No anti bac spray take your own, and tiny washing up tube they leave is no good). Living room very comfortable and smart tv. Nice bedroom, but bed very hard. Cafe nextdoor was shut for xmas sadly as I know its good. Local pub opened again, went in just for a drink, staff nice. Beautiful place to be and Rhosneigr a few minutes away.

A cosy and clean apartment with beautiful local beaches.

The cottage was clean and cosy with a well equipped kitchen good shower and a comfortable bed. We did think that the bedside tables should be replaced with bedside draws to give more storage space for clothing. Apart from that we had a wonderful break and would recommend Ty Mabon.

Lovely base to explore

We had a lovely stay at Ty Mabon and especially enjoyed being able to walk to the beach with our dog. The apartment was smaller than we thought but was very cosy to stay in. The only thing that would.improve it would be more storage in the bedroom (drawers etc) and more coat hangers provided. Was perfect otherwise and we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful location close to the Aberffraw dunes. Generally excellent. But lacks drawers or shelves for clothes. So they have to stay in suitcases.

Break after Christmas for the new year

Loved our stay here property is bigger than the one we stayed in previously;which suited us better as it has a small dinning table and a corridor for leaving coats and wellies in when we came off the beach with our dog. The beach is beautiful and totally unspoilt and only a five minute walk away. We stayed in August fell in love with the area and booked to come back in March and the decided last minute to book our December so glad we did. Property has everything you need to self cater.
