Home away from home.

It was very easy for us to settle in and relax. The house was spacious, well equipped and just a stroll down the adjacent path to the beach. The pool is small, as per the photos, however it was the perfect size for our toddlers to play safely and the adults to cool off. The outdoor shower was great for removing sand prior to pool or home entry.

Great spot to holiday for families with young children. Quiet street, easy access to beach and walkways. House was large and multiple families had their own spaces.

Ideal location

We enjoyed the location with walking distance to the beach, spacious living area and large master bedroom. Unfortunately we had difficulty with the air conditioning and as it was a hot weekend, it was very uncomfortable inside the house and for sleeping.

Nice house but needs more attention to detail

Beautiful house and location, I wouldn’t say if fits 9 people as one was a fold up bed which had parts missing, and couldn’t lay on it flat, as It was a child on it it wasn’t a problem but an adult would struggle to lay flat, wasn’t set up and had No sheets either, they did come at around 9pm after chasing the manager down. Had No real room for it so we set it up in the wardrobe, which did get hot and stuffy. As for the cleaning of the place it was terrible, all windows need a real good clean, found items from previous tenants under beds including some pain tablets we think. Dishes where also dirty, and to top it of No face washers and after all that we woke up the first morning with maggots all over the floor down stairs, so we spent the first half of the morning cleaning. The amount of dirt under the rugs was not a good site. Pool filter was only turned on the last day we where there after a whole week also.

Great beach location.

We had a lovely time at the beach house. Such great proximity to the beach with direct access and no roads to cross. Nice and quiet street and secure house to stay in. Horrendous weather haha but that can’t be helped and because we were so close to the beach we could run down between showers and have a play. The dogs also really enjoyed their stay. The only aspect for improvement was if the pool was heated would have helped with the rainy weather. Great communication with the hoast also. Loved our stay ❤️

LOCK YOUR DOORS AND CARS

I really don't want to leave so few stars but I feel I have an obligation to forewarn anyone who wants to stay here that the neighbourhood crime rate is high and holiday houses are targeted for break and enter and especially car theft. I have nothing negative to say about the property manager or the house or the owners. The property was really beautiful. The surrounding neighbourhood was gorgeous. Only a short walk to the beach and bushland on the side. Very quiet neighbourhood and the house is open and airy and has plenty of bedrooms and toilets and a pool big enough for a refreshing dip. Large entertainment area and huge kitchen. The tow truck driver that had to tow our cars after our keys, wallets, alcohol, stereos and handbags were stolen said he often picks up dumped cars from the car park that is on the southern side of the property. The houses nearby have security cameras and are used to having attempted break ins and told us that as long as you lock up your doors and keep your cars in the garage and keys on you. It will be fine. Having said that, we arent entirely sure how the property was accessed and now that I know the code for the smart lock on the front door, I wonder how many other people do too. Also, the owners must be aware of this as the neighbours said they have spoken to them frequently about it and they have a padlock on the back gate. I'd dare say from an break in in the past All in all, shocker of a weekend. Would have been absolutely perfect if we weren't robbed so 5 stars for the property itself.

Family Get-to-gether to Celebrate Nanny's Birthday

Nanny and Poppy and family members came together to help Nanny celebrate another birthday. The house was excellent for the adults and teenager grandchildren. Plenty of space, bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen and facilities were excellent.

Great home for family and kids.

We loved our stay, great for family and kids. Our stay was rainy so didn’t get to use the pool or bikes as much as we would’ve liked. Great addition to the property. Easy access to beach and bike paths. Would just suggest a more glassware for the number of guest staying. Otherwise well appointed.

Beautiful Weekend

Our time at this property was incredible. Ingrid was very helpful and made the booking and checkin process easy with no issues. The house was clean and exactly as it was described on the website. We wish we could have stayed longer than the weekend. Thank you.

Beautiful place

Was a lovely place to stay with a group of girlfriends. House was beautiful, perfect location. The only down side was that some amenities were missing - toilet paper, hand towels, sheets - but these things are not major issues! Ingrid was easy to communicate with when we had check in problems, she was prompt and very polite.

Beautiful home near the beach and bush walks

This beautiful home at Casuarina was the perfect place to relax and unwind with a group of friends. The house is styled beautifully, very comfortable with a luxury feel and close to beaches, shops and bush walks. This would also be a great 'Stayz' for a large family/ies as there are plenty of spaces for everyone to chill out in their own zone. Very well thought out supplies in the home for your use and great communication with the property manager on booking and answering any questions I had. 5 Stars!!
