    In Tursac, in the heart of the Vézère valley, La Truffière is a magnificent stone residence nestled in a verdant and unspoilt environment.

    Surrounded by its grounds, it benefits from a remarkable view over the valley, which can be enjoyed both from the outdoor areas and from the private infinity pool.

    Here, everything invites you to make the most of Périgord: the calm, the space, nature and the comfort of a large house designed to welcome family and friends in privileged conditions.

    A spacious and comfortable house

    The generous living spaces have been arranged to allow everyone to make the most of their stay.

    The house has a vast lounge and a large dining room, conducive to shared moments, as well as a fully equipped kitchen complemented by a back kitchen that is particularly practical during long stays.

    La Truffière comprises four beautiful bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. A configuration that is particularly appreciated for preserving the privacy and comfort of each person, especially when several couples or generations stay together.

    The house is not equipped with traditional air conditioning. It benefits instead from a cooling floor, providing a pleasant sensation of coolness during the summer period.

    An infinity pool overlooking the valley

    Outside, the grounds offer a privileged environment to enjoy the fine weather.

    The private infinity pool is one of the true assets of the property. Facing the Périgord landscape, it offers a particularly pleasant setting for swimming, relaxing or simply admiring the valley.

Lovely rural property

Beautiful house with extended garden giving lots of privacy. Large terrace with even larger swimming pool is ideal for families. Within short driving distance of village which has lots of eateries. Highly recommend

Nous avons passé un séjour idyllique grâce à cette superbe maison au grand confort située dans un endroit paradisiaque :vue exceptionnelle , piscine magnifique avec comme seul bruit le chant des cigales.... Nous avons également apprécié l'accueil charmant de nos hôtes . Ce séjour fut absolument magique et nous y reviendrons sûrement...

This place is terrific. Of the many houses/apartments I’ve rented on VRBO, this was by far the best. It was one of the few places where the house is actually nicer than the pictures, and the pictures are very nice indeed. The hosts were gracious and helpful, and the house was stocked with welcoming wine, pate and cheeses. This is a winner. Jonathan Zavin

Fantastic house and location

The five of us spent a wonderful week in this large, comfortable and beautiful house located close to Les Eyzies, right in the middle of the Dordogne region. We were warmly welcomed by Luc and his parents and the house is perfectly equipped, including a very nice and clean swimming pool with a magnificient view.

Heaven at La Truffiere

La Truffiere is a fantastic home. Has all of the comforts, great design, very spacious, wonderful grounds, delightful pool and lounge area, and remarkable view. Alain and Genevieve are wonderful hosts and are available for any questions you might have. The area is great for exploring and then relaxing at La Truffiere. We had a great time.

Amazing place

Everything was exactly as described - beautiful house and swimming pool with an amazing view. The only point is the WiFi in the rooms as our children can not live without a strong network ;-) Really recommended without hesitation!

Beautiful property and great hosts

We had a wonderful time - the house is even more beautiful than the photographs. The garden is enclosed which is hard to see on the pictures but made it great for our dog. There is absolutely everything you could need in the kitchen and the house had a lovely atmosphere. We would love to return

Very nice place, quiet and private

Very attentive hosts. All the kitchen utensils you could wish for. The terrasse has a fantastic view and the pool area is very nice. Great with a some bread and food to start on when we arrived late.

Relaxing stay

La truffiere is a beautiful house in a lovely area, with fantastic views and a wonderful swimming pool. It is very well situated for a wide variety of activities from the prehistoric caves, to canoeing on the Vezere, to visiting one of the marvellous castles. Luc and his parents were very accommodating, friendly and responsive. We definitely hope to stay again one day!

Excellent stay

We, a family of 5 and two dogs, received a very warm and friendly welcome. This typical classic French villa is beautiful with a stunning entrance, a professional kitchen equipped with everything you need (and more), very comfortable bedrooms and a private infinity pool with a beautiful view overlooking the valley. This place gave us a sense of peace and tranquility, while our kids enjoyed the (slightly cool) swimming pool. We had a wonderful time!
