    - The property has ceiling fans but does not offer air conditioning
    - Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is at the front of the house, facing the driveway. Camera 2 is inside the garage, facing the parking area. These cameras do not look into any interior living spaces. The cameras record video and sound
    - The private community amenities are available for a fee with the provided tenant cards. Each tenant card provides access to one individual (ages 3+) per day. The access fee is $30/person/day ages 7+, $10/person/day ages 3-6. Children under 3 do not need a card. There is limited access to amenities for STR guests during peak periods. The private amenities include the Trout Creek Recreational Center, Tahoe Donner Tennis Center, Beach Club Marina, and the Northwoods Pool

We have rented at Donner may times, but htis was hands down our best experience ever. The cabin is perfect in every way. We loved our time there.

Wonderful winter getaway

This rental was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a quick weekend to play in the snow! The host was extremely helpful!

Wonderful home

The house is just as pictured! The kitchen has everything you’d want, including a big table to seat everyone. There’s great seating for hanging out in the living room. The beds are comfy, and the whole place is clean, and it feels welcoming. Was a wonderful home base for a winter weekend.

Great house and location

We did a mom and son getaway from SF to Tahoe and this location was amazing! Clean, games, gorgeous yard. I have to say it’s one of the most ready to use, fully stocked houses I’ve ever stayed at on VRBO. Thank you so much!

Perfect as before!

We stayed at this property last summer and we were more than impressed. Same thing this year. Property manager/owners are amazing and extremely accommodating, kind, and easy to communicate with. The property itself is the cleanest and most organized one I have stayed at in all the DECADES I have been coming to Tahoe. We’ll be renting here again next year for sure!

Excellent!

I have been renting in Lake Tahoe for over 40 years and this is the cleanest and most organized property yet. Upon entering the house there is a table with sanitizer, Chlorox wipes, and even individually wrapped, spa-like, cozy slippers for everyone in your group. Our trip started out horribly (AT A DIFFERENT RENTAL) . I had to get my family out of that dump immediately after spending a sleepless night. I was fortunate to find this rental and the owner was so empathetic and accommodating. My family and I truly cannot thank her enough. She saved our family trip!

Nice property and the description matched the reality. There were lots of amenities in the kitchen. A few things that I did not like were (1) the mention of the hot tub in the property description, its misleading unless you read the finer details (2) the area around the fireplace is unsafe because the stone edge is very sharp and juts out and can cause serious injury, do modify it or one of your guests could be seriously injured (3) there is a bit of curvy steep slope to the property form road so it could be hard with big trucks and SUVs

Nice home

Very clean, had everything we needed for our little group. Close to some of the hiking trails. A short 5 minute drive from Truckee’s historical centre. Access to the garage was welcomed to store the bicycles.

I was told two days before my stay of new rules. I would not have chosen this cabin it I had known.

The property is beautiful. Rules were changed and were a contract violation and legal violation of the contract. I Will not do this again with Vrbo

Winter Wonderland!

My family had a wonderful time in this beautiful and family friendly home in such a great location. We have been lucky to spend time in many places and this was one of our favorites for sure. We had everything we needed and more while enjoying the time together in the large central family room or cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. The location made it easy to visit our favorite outdoor areas and happy to return home. We look forward to returning in the summer!

Wonderful House

This was the second time we took our summer vacation at this house. It is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a nice hiking trail in the back which we ventured on a few times after dinner. When asking my family their favorite things about the house they answered: the hammock, gigantic TV screen, kitchen, master bedroom, garage & location. It truly feels like a home away from home.

We had an excellent stay. The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was clean and neat. The location was great for Donner Lake activities and plenty of hiking close by. Downtown Truckee is just minutes away. Thank you!

Lovely cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It was clean and uncluttered. Kitchen cabinets were labeled which made cooking easier. Lovely breakfast tray set out in the kitchen was a really nice touch. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your wonderful mountain home!

This is an ideal place for skiing at Squaw, NorthStar... It is close to Truckee but still away from the crowds.

Everything was great. I would stay here again. Very clean home, trails out the backyard, hammock and everything you could want stocked in the kitchen. Very timely response if we needed anything.

Great cabin!

This was a great, cozy cabin! The beds were very comfortable and there were lots of kitchen tools and seasonings. The only complaint is that the propane tank on the grill was empty and we had to get it filled ourselves.

Fantastic home in Tahoe Donner

Stepping into the house on a late winter early spring afternoon, I was blown away by the beauty, spaciousness and cleanliness of the cabin. My purpose was to have a brief retreat where I would go through some " Great Courses" material undistracted by my familiar surroundings. The place proved to be ideal with a great loft that I used for reading. The master bedroom opened into a beautiful deck or backyard ( so much snow on the ground that it was hard to tell) with snow covered trees not too far away. The kitchen came well equipped with a good set of knives, every kind of pot and pan and labeled cabinets which made for easy maneuvering. Although I did not use the TV, I wished that I had brought some DVDs to experience a movie on a large screen device. Overall this was a fantastic place , I highly recommend it and I will surely be back. MSP

Fantastic cabin in Tahoe Donner!

Stepping into the home on a late winter early spring afternoon my first impression was of the beauty and spaciousness of the place which presaged good things for the purpose of my stay. I had brought some "Great Courses" materials that I wanted to go through for the week and the setting seemed most appropriate. The house seemed to have every thing that I could possibly need and more, yet in an uncluttered way. The kitchen had a great set of knives, some fancy cooking gadget ( instapot which I did not use) and cabinets that were fully labeled which made for easy maneuvering in the kitchen. My best spot was the loft were I could do a lot of reading. The master bedroom had a great set of double doors which opened into the backyard and snow covered trees. Comfortable pillows and propitiously placed heating vents in the kitchen which came on and warmed my feet as I was doing the dishes were added and unexpected pleasures. Overall I highly recommend the place and would love to see it in the summer which is my favorite time in the Sierras. MSP

Home away from home with great location and perks!

The house was super clean, spacious, with a very well-equipped kitchen! We had a party of 4 adults and 6 children with plenty of room for all. The home has easy access to downtown Truckee shopping and restaurants (really cute). A great perk to this rental is its exclusive access to the Beach Club Marina, Northwood Club House and Trout Creek Recreational Center! All of these are GREAT places for parents and children where you can enjoy kayak rental, paddle boats, crawfish fishing (kids love it), and swimming.. with beautiful views. Just outside the back porch you can walk out to hiking and biking trails. One of the best places to mountain bike is very near by. Love the house and the perks! Really made our vacation easy and my kids had a blast! I will definitely come back for ski season!
