Our beautiful, clean, well-stocked cabin is ready for all of your four-season fun!

In addition to the cabin, you'll have access to the incredible Tahoe Donner amenities. See below for more information!

The cabin offers:
Wi-Fi throughout the cabin
Master Bedroom: On second floor, with en suite full bathroom and a California King size bed
Guest Room: On first floor, has a Queen size bed
Bunk Room: On first floor, has a twin bunk over a full size bed
Loft: Two recliners to rest in after a fun day skiing, swimming, or hiking
Main Bath: Full bathroom on first floor adjacent to Guest Room and Bunk Room
Family Room: Great room concept - open to kitchen and dining room. Large, comfortable sofa and two arm chairs, 55' flat screen TV, cable, and DVD player.
Dining Room: Large family table with two benches and two chairs - plenty of space to gather around for family meals. Plus stools to sit at the "bar" that separates the dining room from the kitchen.
Kitchen: Open to dining room and family room. Well-stocked with everything you'll need to make delicious meals for your family. Gas stove and oven, dishwasher, new stainless steel refrigerator, and plenty of dishes, glasses, and silverware. And a Keurig!
Mud Room: A bench and hooks make it easy to leave shoes, boots, and jackets in one handy place right as you come in the front door.
Laundry Room: Washer and dryer available for your use, right off the mudroom in a separate laundry room.
Front Deck: Enjoy a cup of coffee as the sun rises on the front deck in one of the red Adirondacks and eat at the outdoor dining table. Access the Front Deck from the new sliding glass doors in the Family Room.
Back Deck: Enjoy the peaceful view of the trees. The back deck is elevated, so you'll feel as if you're sitting in your own tree house back there! You can access the Back Deck through the Laundry Room or Bunk Room.
Two Car Garage: Large Two Car Garage - you will be really thankful for a garage to pull your car into in the winter when it is snowing!
Driveway is professionally plowed but they do not shovel the walkway. Shovels are provided in the garage for your use.

Tahoe Donner Amenities include: Private Beach Club & Marina (Donner Lake), Ski Resort, Alder Creek Adventure Center (a newly built Cross Country Ski Center), Golf Course, Driving Range, Golf Shop, Equestrian Center (located at Alder Creek Adventure Center), stables & riding trails, Euer Valley (trails etc.), Trout Creek Swimming Pool (Olympic size pool, hot tub, showers, retail shop, seasonal pool side food & beverage service, snack bar, fitness center, massage etc.), The Lodge (fine & casual dining, deck dining, bar, banquet, meeting & wedding facilities, downstairs grill), Northwoods Club House (Pizza on the Hill restaurant & bar, poolside food & beverage, swimming pool with slide, tennis courts, sand volleyball, horseshoes, archery range, bocce ball, Bikeworks (summer bike rentals & guided rides on its extensive trail system), Hiking Trails, Campground & Barbecue areas. Trail Maps of the ski resort, cross country ski area and hiking/biking/walking trail systems etc. are all available on the website. A calendar of concerts and activities (bingo nights, family movie nights, wine and beer tastings) is available on the Tahoe Donner website. 2026 Short-Term Tenant Card Restrictions
Short-Term Tenant Cards are welcome at the private amenities approximately 332 days a year. To prioritize member access during the holidays, Short-Term Tenant Card access will be blacked out on the following dates:

I love Truckee and this property was perfect for my 2 week stay. Really comfy beds, plenty of towels, close to everything and passes to the beach. Most of the time I was alone and I felt super safe. Plenty of dishes for when family comes to visi. I had a great time.

Beautiful location!! Easy arrival and check-in. Recommend back deck seating or picnic table.Furniture and carpet tired and dated. Needed a large frying pan. TV remote didn’t work: needed batteries. Loved downtown Truckee!

Great Tahoe Donner Cabin

The property was just as advertised and just what we were looking for. We were close enough to everything, and just a few minutes away from Truckee and its restaurants and cafés. House is well laid out and on a quiet street, easily accessible. The host was exceptionally easy to deal with and answered all of our questions and was available for questions after check-in. All in all a great stay! The next time we go back up to visit family we will definitely stay again

comfortable, cozy, convenient

We took our teens during winter for some fun in the snow. The location is great: close to downtown Truckee and all that Tahoe Donner has to offer. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. Other reviewers have mentioned that it is dated, and some of the fixtures and furnishings may be a bit dated, but everything was operational, comfortable, and this is one of the more affordably priced rentals in the area. The owner is very responsive and super helpful, too. There are lots of games to play, comfortable beds, and a well-appointed kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and think this would be a great place to visit in the summer, too!

Fantastic Tahoe Donner Cabin

This cabin was lovely and had everything we needed to enjoy a winter holiday! Having the driveway cleared in the morning after a big snowfall was a wonderful surprise :). Love the dog-friendly option, Lola thought it was the best. The hosts were super responsive when we had questions.

Great family cabin

This was the perfect cabin for our family and 2 dogs! Beds were very comfortable. Nice backyard deck for relaxing in the afternoon. Small kitchen but adequate for cooking simple meals. Great location. We hope to visit again

We love to explore! The rental was in a perfect location for a restful night and be out exploring different areas quickly. The west facing deck was an excellent place to relax from the day and make plans for the next.

Cozy cabin

We had a really nice stay at this cabin. The location is great — right in Tahoe Donner. The neighborhood is quiet and we had nice walks in the area. We came for spring skiing and had both snow and a few days of warm temps — glorious. We’ve stayed at a bunch of places in this area and this one was well-sized for our family of 4. The rustic feel is very typical and matches the mountain setting. The games available were fun and the WiFi signal was strong for working while away. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Perfect way to spend Christmas with the family

Fantastic cabin! The host even provided us with a Christmas tree and decorations. Very clean, very stocked, everything a family of 4 plus Grandma and 2 dogs needed.
