Room was alright with a balcony that the people above could stare at you tanning on. Bar has no taps only bottles. Reception said it was busy but I only saw 4 people all night. WiFi was poor as well. Overall just a shame as it’s a great location and has plenty of potential”Comentari del dia d’agost 26, 2026Anada i tornada • Frankfurt (FRA) - Newquay (NQY)FRA - EXT • 1 escala EXT - FRA • 1 escala1146 €934 €trobat fa 1 diaper viatger - Cottage in Cornwall Near Sandy Beach

Please don't book this i was on a call to Expedia for 3 hours finding me another property which they covered. This property is a scam. "The staff were amazing & we enjoyed our large breakfast & as well as a delicious carvery meal on Weds evening (I believe this runs during the summer in addition to Sundays). The room had everything we needed & was nicely decorated. The reason I've had to put 3 stars is because the room was insanely hot despite the weather cooling outside (it was raining in the morning but the room was pushing 30 degrees) so we struggled to sleep. There was a fan but it didn't do a lot & really there needs to be...
"It's an old building that needs a bit of updating however it's in an excellent location and the staff were super helpful and friendly."
"This is our third stay at this lovely hotel, and once again, it has exceeded our expectations. It never fails to impress, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. The location is fantastic, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, with the added bonus of being within easy walking distance of Padstow for a relaxing evening stroll and a meal. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming and attentive, making you feel well looked after throughout your stay. The rooms are spacious,...
"Rooms were basic but reasonably well kept. Ideal location for walks, sightseeing. Pastries are a nice touch in the room."
"We had a lovely stay. Could not fault a thing."
"The room was clean and spacious the food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to chill out but you need to be mobile or have a car. As we holiday in Port Isaac annually we knew the hotel and its location as we had dined there a number of times. We were curious about the accommodation and this was a great place to do nothing and spoil ourselves. We would not hesitate to return."
