Family Getaway, Minutes away from Leland, Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay

Nestled in the heart of Leelanau County, Grace's Place is ready to be the launching point for all your adventures in the area.

Within a 10 minute drive of three of Leelanau County’s towns: Lake Leelanau, Leland, and Suttons Bay, and within about 30 minutes from everywhere else in the county, plus Traverse City.

Featuring a master bedroom with a queen bed and master bath, a bunk room with a twin xl bed over a queen bed, and another bedroom with a queen bed, Grace's Place is ideal for families, sleeping up to 7, with central air conditioning for the summer.

Note- there are two bathrooms, one full and one half. Sometimes vrbo does not show the correct number of bathrooms.

With Leelanau's wineries, rivers, lakes, scenic drives, national lakeshore, lighthouses, sunsets, food, shopping, and fun, you'll never run out ways to have a blast. But when you do get tired out, the property has a bonfire pit to relax at, along with patio chairs.

Note- If you plan on heading out for a day at the beach, or even a quick dip in the lake to cool off after a hot day (highly recommended) please remember to bring your own beach towels. Thank you!

The house was super clean and comfortable. Everything was exactly as advertised. It’s in a TERRIFIC location - very close to so many great places. We loved how close it was to the Pedaling Bean - a wonderful and cozy little coffee shop. It was our home away from home for the week.Kendra was so hospitable too! I realized when I got there that I somehow managed to mess my dates up and was scheduled to check-out a day earlier than I planned. When I messaged Kendra, the problem was quickly resolved. Fortunately, the availability was there to stay an extra night and Kendra was so great about it.Would recommend Grace’s Place over and over again!

Lake Lelanau Vicinity Rental

We stayed 5 nights here. The appearance of the outside of the house is BADLY in need of updating as it has the old slate siding which has been patched in places. The cement steps to the main door are not level and could pose a safety risk especially for older or disabled persons. It may have originally been either a duplex or added onto at some point. The inside has been completely remodeled and was very clean and comfortable for my wife and I. The kitchen was well furnished. We did find a few tiny black ants in both the full bath and dining area so we purchased a box of ant baits and distributed them which seemed to help. The porperty is well located on M-204 between Leland (4 miles) and Suttons Bay (5 miles). It is also only a mile away from the town of Lake Leelanau. Traverse City is probably about a 40 minute drive with the road construction on M-22. Overall, I gave this rental between a 3 and 4-star rating out of 5 stars. With exterior updating to improve its appearance and safety it could easily be a 5 star stay.

A nice location

The house worked for the 4th of us..I just wasnt a fan of the master bath..the shower head you cant adjust..and Im short..no no matter if you wanted to wash your hair you had no choice its going to get wet..and the sink very narrow you have to put your head under the cabinet when you brush your teeth

Cute and Comfy Stay for Wedding

My friends and I stayed here for our friend’s wedding at Aurora Cellars. It was so convenient location wise as well as for some local eateries (Fiddleheads Sandwich Shop was delish!) and wineries. The place was perfect for 3 couples to stay. The only minor issue was the floor of our bedroom was sticky when we got there, but we just avoided walking around in bare feet.

Great Place to Stay!

Stayed here with my wife, daughter and two of her friends for a wedding at a nearby winery. Cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. Kitchen had every thing we needed. It was ideally located for exploring the Leelanau. NJ’s grocery store was just a few minutes away, as was Fiddlehead’s restaurant where we enjoyed a great brunch. Highly recommended!

Great family house close to everything

This house was perfect for our family, plenty of room for everyone with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was very clean and the welcome binder with information was definitely helpful. It's in a great location, close to a boat launch for Lake Leelanau, and right in between Suttons Bay and Leland. We had an amazing time and were sad to leave. We can't wait to be back!

Fishtown 5K

This house was very enjoyable. We had just enough room and was very clean. The only thing I would say is that the master bedroom would need a mirror. It would be nice to be able to get ready in the bedroom when other people are using the bathroom....hair drying, makeup etc. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location, plenty of space, nice home

The home was the perfect location for exploring Leenlanau Peninsula. Less than 10 minutes to Leland or Suttons Bay. The home had plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved the bunk beds. The place was very clean. I would recommend this place to friends and family and anyone else. Also, random, but I really liked the windows and blinds.

Family trip wedding/fishing

Great location close to leland and the narrows. 4 adults stayed and had a great time. We chartered a fishing boat out of leland and had a wedding too. Home was clean and spacious.
