Piazza Place

Come stay in the historic Grand Traverse Commons! This one bed, one bath with a pullout couch and a covered piazza has it all!!! Relax on our balcony and enjoy nature or company, stroll through the local boutiques, hike the miles of trails right out the door and dine in several fine establishments. Do all this without getting in a car! Located only a mile from West bay and downtown, it is the perfect location to spend your vacation!

Great location the Condo was quiet, comfortable and met all of our needs. We really enjoyed the many amenities with all the shops and eateries just steps away not to mention the Bakery just outside the front entrance. Beth our host was great, she was responsive and gave us complete instructions. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing get away, we really enjoyed our stay.

A fantastic property in an ideal location. We were able to walk to shopping, a winery, brewery, coffee and get delicious food all within the small community. It's also located just a short drive from downtown. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Travers City.

Perfect Weekend

The property is amazing, centrally located, and the room is incredible. It gave us a sense of old time splendor, and allowed for the privacy and space needed. The Michigan October certainly added to the charm.

Perfect for Quick Getaway

Nice, cozy place for our quick getaway. The condo is in a great location, close to town and convenient for the tours and shops in The Villages. It was clean, quiet and has a wonderful deck/porch!!

Piazza, Please

Piazza Place was the perfect condo for our stay… it was clean and comfy and in such a unique setting close to everything. Really enjoyed exploring all Traverse City Commons has to offer, too…the history, hiking, fabulous restaurants and shops, plus the recommendation to try The Flying Noodle in town was a good one.

Great Location

Cute condo with balcony in prime Grand Traverse Commons. Great location! Perfect for a single or couples getaway. Loved the balcony and all the shops nearby. Easy walk or quick drive to downtown Traverse City

Amazing place to stay

We loved the location The condo was perfect for three people. The large balcony was amazing. We were able to walk the grounds at midnight to get the spooky feeling of the old hospital asylum. Taking a tour of the old hospital is a must to learn all of its history. I would definitely recommend this condo and I planned to stay here again

Classy and historic!

This was a great experience to stay at the Commons. We visit TC often and in a prior trip we did the historic tour. Highly recommended! So neat to be able to just take the elevator downstairs to access shops and restaurants. The decor is beautiful and it was all very clean. The host gave great instructions about how to access everything. Five stars!

Good central spot

Good central spot especially if you wish to explore the shops and restaurants onsite. Cute, tidy unit with everything you need. Recommend host install some sort of real lock on the door- there was the keypad but no lock we could turn.

Wonderful historic property with lots of amenities

This is a great property inside the old State Hospital in Traverse City. There are a lot of really good shops/restaurants/winery/coffee shop all either in the same building or just a short walk away. We really loved our visit.

The Commons, a beautiful and inviting place

We have visited the Commons many times over the years but never stayed, we certainly have found a new place to stay for our next visit. Our unit was wonderful and working with the owner a charm. We recommend staying there.
