Long Lake/Mickey Lake private waterfront home. Tranquil up-north setting on beautiful Long Lake/Mickey Lake known for excellent swimming, fishing and water sports. Recently updated home with 2100 square feet, Central A/C!, 4 bedrooms, two baths, large gathering room overlooking lake, all amenities in kitchen, washer/dyer, flat screens/smart TVs, fireplace. Outdoor includes beach, fire pit, beautiful new deck overlooking water with BBQ grill, picnic table and plenty of outdoor seating. Bring your pontoon boat (any size) or ski boat (up to 22 ft.) and dock right outside your door on beautiful new dock ! 30 acres of private, groomed hiking trails directly opposite the house leading to a third private lake. Plenty to do in this vacation setting including local festivals, concerts, boat rentals, miniature golf, National Cherry Festival, etc. 15 miles to Traverse City and Interlochen Music Camp, where some of the best music groups play concerts over the summer months. Take a short scenic drive to beautiful Lake Michigan Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake-shore or up the Leelanau or Old Mission Peninsulas to visit the abundant wineries and local shopping. Its all here!

Everything you could want in this superb 4bdrm/2 bath home that sleeps eight. This home has Central A/C, four comfortable bedrooms featuring 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Full. Spacious living room with fireplace overlooking the lake. Kitchen is fully stocked with most modern amenities and plenty of outdoor dining area on deck. Flat screens, Washer/Dryer, Fireplace, gas grill, deck, hard sand lake bottom, fire pit, channel to Long Lake. Bring your pontoon boat (any size) or ski boat (up to 20'). Linens provided, No smoking. No Pets, Central A/C!!!

30 beautiful, private acres to hike or bike (including groomed trails) directly across from driveway of Crystal Beach--that means you don't have to go far to take a hike. Pack a picnic basket of local goodies and off you go. Stop by local farm market for the best produce in Michigan.

Traverse City (15 minutes to downtown) features tons of fun all summer and winter long. Interlochen Music Camp (15 minutes away) offers big name live music all year long. This area offers a peaceful break from the busy world. Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan are only a 30 minute drive and 35 minutes to Glen Arbor. Wineries and Wine Tours are abundant in this area. Rental boats can be delivered directly to the dock out front of the house. Many natural areas to hike and bike, Cherry Festival, Film Festival, Casinos, Wineries, Horse Show by The Bay and much more. This area has it all. Come up and experience all Northern Michigan has to offer!

A perfect holiday home

Our family loved this house. We rent every year on Long Lake and this property on the adjoining Mickey Lake was perfect. Exactly what you need from a holiday home, well equipped, comfortable, multiple entertaining spaces, comfortable beds, peaceful and also not too fancy that you feel you have to tip toe around. You get to feel like you are right at home. Being on Mickey Lake is also a bonus as the kids have the safety and tranquility of Mickey Lake and the fun sports and adrenaline on the adjoining Long Lake. We brought out boat with us and the dock was awesome! Highly recommend.

Beautiful views of Mickey Lake

Terrific place for 10 of us. Clean, well kept, private, accommodating in every way. Nice master suite. Rented pontoon and paddle boards from Up North Rentals...great service. Hiked Pyramid Point for amazing view of Lake Michigan. Family dinner on porch at Boone’s. Great house to rent for up north but quiet location.

Family Vacay

Great property with a great view. Close to much of the hiking and downtown attractions with a quiet stretch of the lake to enjoy swimming and sitting out as well. We had a great time!

Great, quiet location with lots of space!

Our family of eight enjoyed our time here! We had plenty of room and the kitchen was fully stocked. There were plenty of extra linens and towels, which we appreciated. The deck was a perfect place to keep an eye on the children and enjoy the peace and quiet of Mickey Lake. One of the best things about this rental is that you can easily access Long Lake. We were able to dock our two boats here and often went over to Long Lake to fish, tube, and jet ski. We would definitely stay here again should we return to TC!

Great stay on Mickey Lake

Our family of 9 including two little ones enjoyed our stay on Mickey Lake. The location is perfect for introducing little ones to a lake setting. Things are very calm on Mickey and you can always head out to Long Lake via the channel for more action. The house has plenty of rooms and amenities. The grandkids stayed in the bonus room and loved it - it seemed made especially for them. The adults had plenty of space in the other rooms and all went well. We shared meals around the dining area and on the deck. The gas grill worked well. Parking was not an issue for three vehicles (one of them a truck with a trailer). My son and I brought dirt bikes and hauled them to a couple of designated riding areas not too far from Traverse. Speaking of Traverse, we visited downtown a few times and enjoyed the shopping and restaurants. It was very easy and rather quick to get from the house to the waterfront in Traverse. We had near perfect weather and lots of time in the water. There are a pair of Loons in Mickey Lake and I spent a lot of time relaxing and watching them on the lake. If you go, do try to enjoy watching those skillful birds. I can’t say much about the TVs because we barely turned them on - too much to do on the lake and in the area. WiFi was strong.

Good family vacation home

This vacation home exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent on no-wake Mickey Lake, but close to the channel which connects to Long Lake. The home is very clean, well furnished, and equipt with everything we wanted or needed. The owner, David, was very helpful and prompt to respond to any questions. The sole shortcoming was that the upstairs bedrooms did get warm when the outside temps got warm, but this would not deter us from renting this home again in the future.

First time at a lake

Our family cannot say enough positive things about this house or its location. It was completely comfortable for the 10 of us. It is secluded yet close to everything. The kids loved swimming everyday. My 3 grandsons shared a bedroom that was perfect for them. The only thing I would have done differently is rent a boat for the week. The house was VERY clean and had more than enough linens. The living area was large enough to comfortably seat all of us. The kitchen is well stocked. There was plenty of parking for our 4 cars. The deck is large and looks out over Mickey Lake. There is a short trail across the road that leads to another small lake. It is a very quiet, peaceful area. The owner was very easy to work with and very excited to share information and make suggestions about things to do in the area. Our family made so many wonderful, long lasting memories at this house - we hope to rent it again next year.
