Definitely could use some repair and updating. Peeling paint, lack of toilet paper and dishes. They were responsive to requests but not luxurious.

Cancelled when we showed up.

Booked this a year again staying for Taylor Swift. Got a message on Monday (booked for Thursday-Sunday) the key pad wouldn’t work. Called the host SEVERAL times, no answer. Reached out to support, then the host called and said VRBO cancelled it. VRBO confirmed it was still good. The host said there was no running water? And a slew of other excuses. After I traveled 10 hours I had To find a hotel last minute. I looked The next day it was available to book. So were they hoping they could price gouge someone for the Taylor concert? Getting refund, I hope VRBO kicks them off the platform.

Not Quite Elegant - But very comfy (1 of 3 part review)

I stayed at the property for 3 nights, recently. I will agree with parts of each prior review. I'll start with the shorter list first. PROS: - Nice family friendly neighborhood - Convenient to grocery shopping and restaurants (walkable) - Easy access to the bus line (walkable) - Host was very prompt and responsive to all messages - Host provided a great contact for a local driver (superb!) - Beds were comfortable and rooms were cozy -Fully equipped kitchen (could use more utensils) CONS: As to "Elegant" - The exterior needs attention! The front and backyard were full of overgrown weeds (2-3" tall) - The doorbell is visibly broken - The front door has lots of scratches and needs painting - The glass inserts on the interior of the front door are covered with paper. - "Hot Tub To Die For" is missing. I asked the owner, and he said it was removed right before we got there. Not possible based on the massive weed cover in the backyard. ** He has since deleted mention of the hot tub in the ad. KITCHEN: - As previous guests noted, the fridge has no handles. The listing images do not have handles either. Very odd. You have to pull on the screws to open both doors, -The bottom kickplate is missing from the dishwasher and it was dirty with stains on the front. -We were provided with 1/2 roll of paper towels and had to call to have replenished, didn't get done. -There were 2 boxes of Kleenex (facial tissues) which had a total of 7 tissues combined. Spacious

My experience with this guest home was lacking many kitchen’s items such more cups, plates, forks, pots and pans. I noticed that some had access to the house and makes me uncomfortable due to the fact they came inside while we were NOT there. I found that very disturbing knowing that we all have many personal itrms in our rooms

Excellent communication with host. Propert needs a ton of work!

While the host was extremely responsive to inquiries and requests the property itself is not what you would expect. - No cleaning supplies provided, not even a broom. - One dish towel in the kitchen. - Only two metal forks in the kitchen (five bedroom house) - only two drinking glasses - No frying pan (but one was delivered after we complained) - No bulbs in most of the lamps - Had to buy batteries for the tv remote - Walls dirty in most rooms. Liquid marks and others that need to be cleaned - Dirty underwear in two drawers. Like really. Someone else’s underwear.. one ladies thong and a some kids hot wheels boxers. - Missing faceplates on multiple outlets -No handles on fridge, the photos in the Vrbo add did show that the handles were missing, but we missed it, honestly though.. why not install the handles? - No kick plate on dishwasher (not really an inconvenience but looks awful) - Hair on bedsheets .. the bedsheets where not on the beds when we arrived so they host apologized for the the delay and sent over people to install them but even though we knew they were washed they still had lots of hair on them. Some stains on sheets. - Stickers on all the windows- host must have had new windows installed recently but didn’t bother taking the stickers off the windows. Patio doors were completely covered in the manufacturers protective stickers. Fireplace is broken- couldn’t get it to work at all. No coffee maker even though there’s a coffee ginder in the ad?

Short Stay

We spent a delightful weekend at this property, enjoying its cleanliness and abundance of amenities. The house itself is stunning, impeccably maintained, and spans two floors: ground and first. One minor detail not outlined in the description is that the laundry area is shared with the basement residents. However, it's worth noting that the basement has its own separate access and no direct connection to the main living areas.

Great weekend trip

My friends and I stayed for a weekend trip in Toronto and had a great time. The multiple bedrooms and bathrooms made it a perfect spot for our group to call home for the weekend. The house was very clean and well taken care of, and the host is very responsive and helpful with any questions. We enjoyed our stay here!

Lovely family home

Our overall experience with this lovely host was nothing short of comfortable. Lovely fresh bedding and a clean spacious house which made for the perfect home away from home for my family visiting Toronto. Neighbourhood was nice also and everything needed for a weeks stay was provided with good communication with host all around.
