Nestled atop a picturesque hill, and cooled by summer breezes, our stunning villa overlooks the charming town of Torino di Sangro on the unspoiled Trabocchi coast in Abruzzo. Surrounded by spectacular views of the Majella mountains and the ocean, you'll find the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday.

Our villa allows you to enjoy the local Italian village's charm from a comfortable distance while providing ultimate privacy and relaxation. Swim in the refreshing infinity pool during the day or take a 10-minute drive to one of Italy's cleanest and safest beaches for a wonderful beach experience.

Only recently upgraded, the house now includes a children’s bedroom with four bunks and an additional bathroom/laundry room. We have also installed air conditioning in all the bedrooms and strengthened the management team.

Set within private, gated grounds, our villa features a beautiful garden and several terraces for al fresco dining. Inside, the open plan kitchen, dining space, and comfortable sitting room with large leather sofas offer a cosy space to unwind together.

The ground floor houses two double bedrooms and a bathroom, while upstairs, you'll find the master bedroom and bathroom alongside a minstrel's gallery with a comfortable sofa overlooking the local village. The roof veranda, furnished with a wrought iron table and chairs, sets the perfect stage for evening suppers in the balmy summer air.

For those seeking more energetic activities, a games room provides table football and table tennis matches. This space is also ideal for children, as we offer two sets of bunk beds in the games room for extra sleeping arrangements. A new bathroom is located off the games room, housing a washing machine for your convenience.

Villa Farfalla is designed for guests who appreciate a harmonious and respectful atmosphere, providing the perfect balance of relaxation and enjoyment in the heart of Abruzzo.

When you're ready to explore beyond the villa, indulge in delicious local food and wine at the nearby bars and restaurants.

Vasto – Explore the lovely hilltop town of Vasto, overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The medieval center boasts beautiful 15th-century buildings, the impressive Caldoresco Castle, and the Palazzo d'Avalos. Wander through narrow alleyways and discover Roman excavations, churches, and mansions. After exploring the old center, relax on the nearby golden beach or enjoy a delicious lunch by the Vasto Marina. An extended-family holiday to visit the war graves.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous villa. Stunning views to both snow capped mountains and the sea. Proximity to the mountains meant we could show my 9 year old Australian nephew snow for the first time, and spend the following day on the beach. A very moving visit the Sangro River War Graves, where we took my Dad to visit his uncles grave for the first time. Beautiful, peaceful place which is just wonderfully kept. Would absolutely stay again, I expect it’s even better in high season when the pool is in use.

Fantastic view

We had a great stay. We were with a group of five people and there was plenty of room for everybody! The view is amazing. You can see the mountains and the see. Because of the high temperature the swimmingpool was nice and refreshing. Check in was quick and easy! They tell you everything you need to know about the house.

Nous nous sommes rendus dans les Abruzzes pour retrouver la famille.la maison est très bien placée entre montagne et mer et le beau temps au rendez-vous (entre 22et28 degrés).Le ménage mériterait d’être approfondie mais l’accueil a été très sympathique malgré l’heure tardive de notre arrivée, nous avons bien apprécié la bouteille de vin qui nous attendait ! La maison était très agréable et nous avons passé un très bon séjour

Merveilleuse semaine à la villa Farfalla

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille dans la très belle maison de Vivien et tout était parfait. Même avant d’arriver, tout est facilité par sa réactivité et sa gentillesse. On voit tout de suite que c’est une vraie maison de famille : d’abord parce qu’il n’y manque rien et surtout parce qu’elle est pleine de charme. Le cadre est splendide, avec une vue imprenable sur Torino di Sangro (très beau coucher de soleil à admirer de l’une ou l’autre terrasse). Il y a toujours un endroit adapté selon l’heure de la journée pour profiter au mieux du soleil ou de l’ombre. La piscine est magnifique et quelqu’un vient s’occuper de son entretien. Mais la mer n’est qu’à 10-15 minutes. Mi-septembre, l’eau était à 28°, donc nous en avons bien profité. Un peu plus loin, il y a de très belles randonnées à faire dans les Abruzzes, de tout niveau et nous ne nous attendions pas à voir des animaux (cerfs, sangliers) ni à ce que la région soit si verte, on est quand même en Italie ! Mais ça on se le rappelle dès qu’on mange une glace à la gelateria de Casalbordino… Nous sommes venus de Normandie en voiture donc c’est un très long chemin, mais tous les cinq y reviendrions volontiers.

Beautiful villa with stunning views

We loved our stay here, the villa is situated in a stunning spot and within an easy drive of Pescara (take the coast road from the airport for a slower journey with lovely views). Everything was well equipped and comfortable. Vivien and Rob were on hand for any queries and very responsive. If you like wildlife you will be in your element as you can sit by the pool bird watching for hours, the view extends all the way to the sea, and there are various walks from the villa as well. We had four adults staying, with plenty of room. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Family Vacation

Amazing!

We spent one week in that beautiful Villa. I have so say only one week because we all agreed we could have spent month. The house, garden and pool were very clean and you could just feel comfortable and relax. I have experienced so many accommodations in my life but this one was really the best ever. Even the contact with the owner Vivien (not living in Italy) was very warm and friendly. She is really taking care of her guests and want them to enjoy their vacations. To make a long story short I can just recommend spending vacations in that object. Thanks to Vivien, Ana Maria and Domenico!

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einer traumhaften Villa

Die Villa Farfalla ist ein Traum für jeden der einen entspannten und ruhigen Urlaub in einer wunderschönen Gegend in Italien machen möchte. In der Villa fehlt es an nichts. Eine toll ausgestattete Küche lädt zum Kochen ein, ein schöner Pool zum Relaxen. Innerhalb von zehn Minuten gelangt man ans Meer. Im Fazit ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt.

Wunderbar ruhig und Entspannung pur

Wir hatten eine sehr gute Kommunikation und auch sehr gute Beschreibung von der Anfahrt und vom Haus. Die Hausübergabe war einfach und unkompliziert, vielen Dank auch für Wein und Sekt im Kühlschrank und eine mit Vorräten bestückte Küche. Die Lage ist traumhaft und man hat zwei wunderbare Terrassen mit Aussicht bis zum Meer. Auch die Betten sind sehr bequem. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden gerne wier kommen.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in Panoramalage

Eigentlich dürfte man gar nichts über das Haus schreiben, denn jeder der mal dort war wird wieder hinwollen. Alleinlage mit Meerblick, sauber und überaus komplett ausgestattet. Neben kompletter Küche mit allen notwendigen Dingen gab es noch Notvorräte falls doch mal ein Paket Nudeln oder eine Flasche Wein vergessen wurde. Dazu viele Spielgeräte für die Kinder für Pool und Strand. Aus unserer Sicht für 8 Personen ideal, für 10 müssen Tische gerückt werden. Wir werden hoffentlich mal wieder hinfahren. Vielen Dank.

Traumvilla mit phantastischem Panoramablick

Gerne bestätigen wir die positiven Aussagen der vorherigen Bewertungen. Die Villa bietet einen gigantischen Panoramarundblick ans Meer, Torino di Sangra gegenüber und die Berge sowie atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge. Die Ausstattung der Villa und die liebevolle Einrichtung ließen keine Wünsche offen. Die Sauberkeit der Villa ist für italienische Verhältnisse überdurchschnittlich. Die Lage ist wirklich optimal für Ausflüge in den Abruzzen sowie nur 10 Min ans Meer mit super Strandabschnitten Einen besonderen Dank gilt unseren tollen Gastgebern Ana Maria und Domenico für die Gastfreundschaft und tolle Unterstützung! Besonders hervorzuheben war das großartige Essen von Domenico am letzten Urlaubstag. Auch die Kommunikation mit Vivian der Besitzerin war hervorragend. Wir können dieses Haus zu 100% weiterempfehlen und hoffen auf weitere Aufenthalte an diesem ganz besonderen Ort.

villa e posto stupendi

arrivati all'inizio di settembre con 2 amici e 2 cani ,il posto e la villa sono stupendi,le pulizie lasciano un'pò a desiderare e se piove l'acqua entra dalle porte e dalle finestre, chiaramente montate malissimo ,per il resto ragnatele ovunque ma lo spettacolo del panorama e la tranquillità della zona ci ha fatto dimenticare questi piccoli errori..spero di tornarci

Piacevole vacanza con amici

Ho soggiornato in questa bella casa in Abruzzo con un gruppo di amici. Sia la casa che la piscina sono molto belle come in foto se non addirittura di più. La villa si trova in una zona abbastanza isolata ed è quindi perfetta per chi vuole passare una settimana in tranquillità. Nonostante ciò spostandosi con la macchina si è molto vicini al mare e a tutti i servizi necessari come supermercati o simili. Spostandosi poco di più è anche possibili fare delle belle escursioni in alcune riserve naturali. Unica pecca della è la presenza di numerosi insetti di diverso tipo. Detto ciò il soggiorno è stato fantastico e consiglio la villa a chiunque voglia passare una settimana con gli amici o la famiglia.

Vacanza ...Vacanza con V maiscola

Quest'anno abbiamo, come famiglia, deciso di optare per la campagna e le Marche come destinazione. Torino di Sangro non sapevo che esistesse un paesino chiamato così. Abbiamo trovato una location veramente bella con tutti i confort che ti servono per dire sono in vacanza: una piscina a sfioro che ha preso la maggior parte delle ore della giornata, un salone finestrato con vedute sognanti soprattutto nei tramonti, delle camere spaziose per la notte, una stanza giochi con sfide a calcetto o a ping pong e una pace e silenzio rotti solo dai versi di animali: un gufo "Assiolo" e un asino. Poi non puoi dimenticare la cortesia delle persone che gestiscono la villa veramente affabili e disponibili. Una vacanza da prendere in considerazione; ah! dimenticavo, ottima anche la posizione strategica per escursioni in questa regione.

Idéalement située, de splendides vacances

Belle maison, très calme, magnifique piscine. Bien équipée, excellent accueil. À proximité de la plage (10mn), magasins d’alimentation à quelques minutes. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et recommandons sans réserve la Villa Farfalla!

We loved staying in this property. We had originally intended to just stay a couple of days as a stop over but loved it so much that we drove back over 200 miles to stay there again! The house is comfortable, warm and well equipped. We stayed in January and were very warm and comfortable. The views all around the property are absolutely magnificent. The owner, Viv, is very easy to communicate with and Ana Maria and her husband very helpful and supportive without being at all intrusive. Thanks so much to Viv for a wonderful couple of stays.

Un bellissimo posticino

Villa Farfalla ci e’ Piaciuta dal primo istante e siamo stati bene , per la tranquillità , la bellezza degli spazi esterni ed interni e forse ci torneremo . Peccato che i primi 3 gg gli ospiti del piano superiore non sono riusciti a dormire per il caldo e Grazie Vivien e Grazie al sig Domenico ( persona squisita e seria) . Andrea e Sandra Rombaldoni

Beautiful Villa

We had the most enjoyable stay at the villa. We arrived with grandparents and small children. It was the perfect spot for exploring on day trips or staying put and enjoying the pool/scenery. Something for everyone. Thank you vivien for sharing your beautiful sanctuary with us.

Stunning tranquil location

We had a lovely time in Villa Farfalla. The property is very well equipped, our 3 year old especially loved playing with the toys and in the pool. We enjoyed visiting the local village, nearby beaches and relaxing by the pool while taking in the stunning views. Ana Maria and Domenico also provided us with a fabulous seafood dinner.
