The beds were comfortable and the location was very convenient—5 minute walk from Heiwajima Station. The room I booked was different from the photos and the stove didn’t work. We were ok with just the microwave to heat our meals.

The first impression I got when we arrived to the entrance was: "where the hell did I get my family into?" Alrhough I saw a picture of the it in Expedia, seeing in-person made me feel I was in a terrible neighborhood. There is no elevator and bringing all the luggage up to the second floor was not easy especially when the lights in the stairs were off. It seems they get turned off after a certain time at night which makes it terrifying. The place was very spacious; however, only one room had a closet which makes it a little uncomfortable for 5 people and a 7-night stay. The sink was nasty, the sponge holder was black like if it had not been cleaned in weeks, a smell was coming out of the sink because there was old food sitting in the strainer. We had to clean that. We didn't know we needed to turn the water heater on, so one of us had to shower with cold water in a temperature of about 40 F degrees until I figured out how to turn it on. I did messaged the onwer, and I got a reply but I had already figured it out. At night, you could feel the noise of everyone walking and talking on the street and going up the stairs. The kitchen was equipped with the necessary for simple cooking, but one of the pans was greasy and one of the pots could not be used because it was not compatible with the induction stove. The location was convenient though. It was close to a train station, a 7-eleven, and several places to eat. There is a laundry place nearby too. The area ended up being safe

We had 3 adults staying there so we were able to use the extra bed (we had a 2 bedroom unit) in each room to lay out our clothes and store our luggage since we were unable to get into the closets because of the tightness in the bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable!!!! It was chilly while we visited and the heater/ac worked well as long as you kept the door between the bedrooms open and the doors to the living area closed. We did not use the stove so can’t comment on that. Although the bathroom was older we loved the pressure and temperature of the shower. The Grace Heiwajima is in an older ward of Tokyo and we were very happy with the area (our 1st time visiting Japan). Family Mart, 7/11, Lawsons were only a few minute walk as well as many restaurants and the train station. There was a laundromat on our street as well as a lovely bakery/cafe, flower shop and many more shops. We would definitely stay there in the future if we returned to Japan.

We stayed here for 5nights. The location was in the spot. Close to everything from Heiwajima train station 5mins walk, 7-11 store truly a convenient 2mins walk, restaurants & vending machine every corner. The apartment was clean, we got 2 bedrooms 4 full size beds which is great. Bed was comfortable. 1 heater for the whole apartment that’s ok. We’re out all day anyway. It has plates, bowls, utensils, pots & pan which we didn’t use, no more time to cook. Restroom/ toilet was unusual, there’s a half bath tub. We don’t know how to use it. But there’s like a punch hole on the bedroom that we didn’t report. Last thing I like most was it comes with washing machine which is very helpful. They also provided the dishsoap & laundry detergent.. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The area was safe, affordable & convenient. Will definitely recommend this to my friends & family who’s planning to visit Japan in the future.

Todo estuvo genial, nos sentimos muy cómodos está súper bien ubicada con todo lo necesario cerca, cuando la vimos pensamos que estaba pequeña pero no fue así, nos quedó súper bien para los 6 q éramos…yo solo estuve un poco inconforme con la limpieza del baño pero de ahí en fuera todo me pareció genial

The room was outdated, the toilet was a standard toilet, the shower/tub combo was okay but you can see mold on the window and rotted wood, the beds in one room were not okay and eveytime you sat on it, it would creak and sound like they were broken, it was nice to have big rooms but the beds were not okay, if you are on the bigger side there was a high chance you would break those bed, everything was clean as well, we had luggage and there is no elevator so we carried everything to the second floor, it was convenient to be a few minutes away from 7/11 and family mart, also everything was quiet so that was good as well. Also to get into Tokyo it takes roughly 40 minutes to 1 hour so I would not recommend if that’s what you want, overall it was poor but it did have perks like quiet, convenience stores being nearby, and also like clinics for in case you don’t feel good.

The price was excellent and super close to the Haneda airport for our late arrival. Easy access to the train station and grocery store. Laundry was convenient and plenty of kitchen amenities to make some food for breakfast or late dinner. We didn’t try any nearby restaurants. Great number and size of beds for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. The configuration of the rooms was a little challenging at times (had to walk through other rooms to get to the bathroom) but not a big issue. Fairly quiet area and only a few times heard loud noise from stairwell or room above us. Further from main Tokyo sites but worked well as a home base for 3 nights. Appreciated all the clear communication in advance with photos to arrive there easily. A laundry rack would be helpful in future for drying clothes. The bathroom configuration was a little harder with no separate sink and the toilet so close to the shower area. But manageable for a short stay. Worried about cleanliness based on other reviews but didn’t notice any issues on our stay.

My family visited from the US. While we enjoyed our stay we did encounter a few small issues. Nothing that was a deal breaker for us, but a few things that could be improved. We noticed there were some rust colored hand prints/smudges on the walls and a few areas that we felt should have been properly or more thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The Wi-Fi also did not reach any other room except the main living room where the router was located. Which is tough for foreign travelers who do not have an e sim or a data plan. I partly chose this hotel due to “free Wi-Fi” being one of the listed amenities. Also there are no elevators in the building or at least not where our room was located. So each time we wanted to leave the room it was 4 flights of stairs. Again, not a huge issue for us but would be good to inform others in case someone is traveling with a mobility disability. All the neighbors were very friendly and the location of the hotel was amazing. It was located a short easy 1 minute walk from a Seven Eleven and a 2 minute walk to a Family Mart. The train station was also only a 4 minute walk. Not to mention the numerous shops and restaurants and stores nearby including a pharmacy to get simple things like painkillers. And a short 9-10 minute walk away was a large complex with a Don Quijote, a bowling area, a pachinko place, a few more sit down style restaurants, and lovely park. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
