"Spotlessly clean, fabulous hosts and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Reading past reviews I was shocked at mentions of the floors being cold. It's an 18th century cellar for goodness sake!!! Stone floors are part of the charm. It is cosy and warm at this time of year (and I imagine lovely and cool in the summer).I would definitely stay again for its location, its cleanliness and its hosts. Can't fault it except for the mattress, which is a bit "argos" and could do with a good...

"Although the apartment was spacious and reasonably priced, there were a few negative points. There wasn't any light outside the entrance door to the block, so that in the dark it was impossible to see the key pad. Luckily I had a torch with me. The heating was inadequate and apart from five coat hangers on a free standing rail, there were no drawers or anywhere to store anything. "

"It was a pleasant stay. The house comfortably accommodates six people, with spacious bedrooms and televisions in two of them. The kitchen was well-equipped, though we didn't use it. However, the floors were dusty and didn't appear clean, and there were no locks on the doors, perhaps for safety reasons. Overall, it was a satisfactory property."
