    Enjoy the sounds of the river, campfires and stargazing. Witness stars shooting across the sky... This is a magical healing place for your mind. Many guests who only booked one night have said, “We spent one night here and wish we could have stayed longer!"
    This property is in a rural natural area and a great place to get away from the stress of cosmopolitan life.
    The house has a barbecue / fire pit and a Weber propane BBQ. 5 miles from the Sequoia Nat'l park entrance, near town where you can find the coffee house, art galleries and eateries. Easy self check-in. Also equipped with oil, vinegar, spices, blender, rice cooker.

    Kids love to climb on the big granite boulders by the river.

Excellent location for our Sequoia National Park trip! Although the weather was a bit cool, we enjoyed the outside firepit, bbq and the central location of the home; we found it clean and well stocked with dishes and staple supplies.

Overall, this was a nice place to stay. The access to the river isn’t the best and having no dish washer and laundry made it less enjoyable. Otherwise, we were satisfied.

Kitchen was not as equipped as we had hoped it would be. Some welcome items were not there which was disappointing. The owner was very helpful in allowing us the use of the washer and dryer. We enjoyed the use of all that was provided.

It was just nice enough for a quick stay when our main focus was enjoying Sequoia NP. It was close to the park with a nice mountain view. Kitchen had bare essentials. Salt pepper and oil. No coffee grounds or sugar.

Pics were not recent. Beach was overgrown and across street. I feel like I did not get my moneys worth. I should have just stayed somewhere else since I could not enjoy the beach. . WiFi never worked. Not sure why we would get charged IF we stripped beds. Made me question if they change linens.

The home itself was nice, clean and met our needs and was as close as we could get to the park entrance. However, its location and access to the rive was not as we expected or as shown in the photos. The location by the rive and river access was the main reason we chose the property as our son is obsessed with water and fishing. The river access is across the street behind what appears to a locked gate and fence and the space is overgrown with with weeds, brush and the river can not be accessed given the trees and shrubs along the shore. The space is not cared for and it is NOT a place where you would want to spend time. We felt like the river part of this property was false advertising and my son was very disappointed based on the photos vs. what it actually was.

Splendid Stay

This was a nice place to have a family getaway. We enjoyed the scenery and quietness and it was in convenient spot to get to the national park. The fire pit was a plus with our boys, for their endless amount of s’mores.

Charming villa in a beautiful location. Right in a vineyard. The grapevines formed the railings of the decks. Nicely decorated and very clean. Easy communications with the host. It’s at the northern end of Napa Valley, but still close to lots of nice vineyards and restaurants. Favorite vineyards—Château Montelena, Sequoia Grove, and Ledson(Sonoma Valley).

Perfect for our trip to the Sequoia National Park

Great location and the house was everything we needed. Walked to the river and then visited the local brewery, which had some excellent beer. The entrance to the park was close and we spent an enjoyable day exploring the sequoia national forest.

Great location in town. Comfortable. Clean. There’s a grocery store close by to get supplies. Entrance to Sequoia National Park just up the road. Great place to stay when visiting the Park.

Quick Trip

Overall the stay was good. The communication could have been better & the listing accuracy is a bit suspect. However, If you need a clean place to stay, that would be roomy enough for the whole family & near Sequoia National Park, this is a fine choice.

We enjoyed our stay. A nice hike in a good location. Small walk to the river. Communication with the owner is poor but they did get back with us eventually.
