Chalet Les Roses des Alpes is an OVO Network property. Sleeping 8 adults in four double bedrooms (3 can convert into twins), with two bathrooms, the chalet is unusually light and spacious.

This comfortable and spacious chalet comes with all the practicality and convenience you would expect from a modern family, pets friendly home in the mountains.

It has spectacular views of the valley and mountains on all sides, and is a perfectly situated for exploring both Lake Annecy and the Aravis/Tournette mountains.

Thônes is a picturesque Alpine town in the heart of Reblochon country. Just minutes from La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand, it’s perfect for skiing, snowboarding, and winter sports. In summer, enjoy hiking, mountain biking, swimming, canyoning, and more — with stunning Annecy only 20 minutes away.

There is a second balcony on the ground floor, ideal for sunny breakfasts, and a large South-facing terrace with hot-tub leading on to a large flat garden and a lovely pétanque course.

When it’s cold outside, the best place to be is gathered around the log fire, though hardier types can always grab a blanket and a glass of mulled wine and enjoy star-gazing from the terrace.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Please note the owners live in the apartment in the basement of the chalet, with their young dog Siena (Italian Spinone). The apartment has its own independent access. Although we accept dogs at the property, pets must not be left on their own at the chalet to avoid any damage, without prior consent from the owner. Thank you for your understanding. Cats are not welcome at the property. There is a stream that runs through the garden, which is generally dry in the summer months. IMPORTANT : please note that parties are forbidden at this property



The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up
before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for
up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

Absolutely wonderful. Could not fault Chalet Les Roses des Alpes, stunning location, beautiful house, exceptional amenities, David was extremely welcoming and goes to great lengths to ensure his guests have a happy stay, from the thoughtful supply of toilet rolls and luxury toiletries to the kitchen necessities right up to the local cheese and wine in the fridge to welcome you. Thoroughly recommend a stay here, we all had an amazing holiday. Thank you.

Une belle découverte

Semaine idyllique en famille et avec des amis. Evironnement de rêve, châlet magnifique et très bien équipé, David le propriétaire est très sympathique et prêt à vous indiquer de belles balades alentours. Calme et nature : tout ce dont nous avions besoin.

Chalet experience

Lovely property with breathtaking scenery. We were greeted by David and Peter who were there to answer any questions and give us a guide to the area. It was easy to get to with their instruction. The chalet is very comfortable and well equipped and easy driving distance to Annecy. We hope to return one day.

Een mooie, goed onderhouden, schone en goed geoutilleerde woning! Alles aanwezig voor een aangenaam en plezierig verblijf in een sportieve, recreatieve en aantrekkelijke omgeving! Ook in de zomer een Top Verblijf! Door het perfecte engels van de eigenaren, een prima conversatie mogelijk (als je Frans wat 'roestig' is!). Voorts geeft de dienstbare houding van eigenaren een heerlijke ondersteuning om een relaxt en aangenaam verblijf te realiseren.

Utter perfection !

The chalet has everything you could possibly need or want - from super , light and airy rooms ( with lovely views ) to the thought that has gone into providing all of the things you might need ( basic household cleaning items , hairdryers , towels for the hot-tub , plus kitchen essentials etc And then there's the added bonus of having your own dog for a week : Sophia is such a calm and friendly dog . David the on-site owner is friendly and helpful , but not obtrusive at all . The local town of Thones is perfect for all essential shopping , and has cafes and restaurants too ( just don't plan to eat out on a Monday night though , as only the pizzeria is open .) We swam in Lake Annecy at Agnon beach ( grassy areas , trees for shelter , a river , cafe/bar and changing facilities ), visited Annecy itself , plus Chamonix ( up in the cablecars ) and Le Clusaz ( up 2 chairlifts to 2000 metres ) Everywhere is clean and the people very friendly . Highly recommend this chalet - it is perfect !!!
